New Book Takes a Hard Look at How Hedge Funds Have Designed Trades to Tap into the Fed’s Money Spigot

As we reported on Monday, there’s a new book out from Simon & Schuster with the provocative title: The Lords of Easy Money: How the Federal Reserve Broke the American Economy. The book, written by bestselling author Christopher Leonard, is sprinkled with eye popping revelations – particularly in regard to how hedge funds have been able to effectively mint billions by designing trades to take advantage of the Fed’s repo bailouts and quantitative easing.

Quantitative easing (QE) is a scheme launched by former Fed Chair Ben Bernanke, beginning in November 2008. QE means that the New York Fed, through its open markets desk, buys up Treasury securities and federal-agency-backed Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) from its 24 primary dealers. The Fed’s purchases of tens of billions of dollars a month of these securities creates artificial demand that would not otherwise exist, thus lowering the interest rates these securities need to offer, which also puts downward pressure on the interest rates of other debt instruments. This helps to sustain the Fed’s zero-bound interest rate policy on its benchmark rate, the Fed Funds rate. Bernanke promoted the plan as a way to lift asset prices and get the economy growing again after the debilitating effects of the 2008 crash. It’s been the go-to plan of the Fed ever since whenever Wall Street needs a bailout.

Interestingly, a zero-bound interest rate policy has also bailed out the hundreds of trillions of dollars (notional or face amount) of derivatives that Wall Street’s megabanks have waged with questionable counterparties that might, or might not, be able to pay up on the trades if they went sour.

Unfortunately, the dark side of QE, as cleverly detailed in layman’s terms in Leonard’s book, is that it has created a desperate struggle for yield by American savers, pension funds and other typically risk-adverse investors. The book makes the point that the long-term goal of QE was, in fact, to make saving money and expecting to earn a decent interest rate on it a fool’s errand year after year, thus forcing millions of people into riskier and riskier areas of investment, which has led to the unprecedented bubble in markets that we find ourselves in today – with no reliable exit plan by the Fed.

The Fed conducted all of these QE trades with its primary dealers, the vast majority of which are broker-dealers, meaning the trading houses on Wall Street. Most of the broker-dealers have affiliates that are commercial banks that could actually lend to the real economy, but the broker-dealers themselves are the casinos that are trading with the hedge funds.

The man behind QE, former Fed Chair Ben Bernanke, is the same man who oversaw the secret $29 trillion bailout of Wall Street during and after the 2008 crash, fought the U.S. media for more than two years to keep the details of that bailout a secret, and then took a job at hedge fund, Citadel, after retiring from the Fed.

In describing what was happening behind the scenes as QE ramped up, Leonard writes:

“The primary dealers were not just selling the Treasury bills and mortgage bonds that they happened to have on hand. If that had been the case, it would have limited how much money the Fed could have pushed into the banking system (even the primary dealers only had a finite amount of such assets on hand). Instead, the Fed set up a conveyor belt of sorts, which used the primary dealers as middlemen. The conveyor belt began outside the Fed, with hedge funds that were not primary dealers. These hedge funds could borrow money from a big bank, buy a Treasury bill, and then have a primary dealer sell that Treasury bill to the Fed for new cash. In this way, the hedge funds could borrow and buy billions of dollars in bonds, and sell them to the Fed for a profit. Once the conveyor belt was up and running, it began magically transforming bonds into cash….”

Why Donald Trump Should NOT Be the Republican Nominee

Before you throw a MAGA hat or a Let’s Go Brandon flag at me, let me make one thing perfectly clear. I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020. If he is the nominee in 2024, I’ll vote for him again. But when we consider him in the context of the next election, we must employ the retrospectoscope, as I did months ago. After all, hindsight is 20/20. And, as Santayana said, “He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it.”

Donald Trump promised to Drain the Swamp. Instead, he drowned in the Swamp. While he got a lot done, he thought that hiring “experts” and trimming around the edges would be enough. Instead, the ooze flowed in from every direction, stifling every attempt to actually get big things done.

Trump was even sabotaged by those closest to him. 45 was properly upset when VP Pence announced that his role on January 6 was merely ceremonial. Yet he had my analysis of the Constitution passed on to him by Trump attorney Jenna Ellis, which would have had him properly pass the election back to six contested states for their Legislatures to review. This was bolstered by an opinion letter from a past Inspector General of the Department of Defense (who happened to quote my AT piece). Yet Pence stabbed the President in the back without so much as a “by your leave.”

VP Pence was far worse than this single event. Scott Atlas, M.D., repeatedly points out a serious flaw in Pence’s behavior.

As Chair of the COVID response committee within the White House, Pence politely listened to Deborah Birx and Anthony Fauci simply declare that some particular action should be taken. Dr. Atlas would then present a stack of studies showing that the proposed plan was exactly the wrong thing to do. The VP would then thank everyone and follow the completely unscientific plans of Fauci and Birx.

Trump railed at this damaging behavior but didn’t call his own hand-picked expert in for a consultation. That would have revealed to him the evil in action, and he would have had a chance to shut it down. Instead, Pence, the consummate politician, allowed two incompetent virologists to hijack America and destroy the MAGA presidency.

It is this urge to call in experts, as he did with the Wollman Skating Rink, that makes Donald Trump a poor selection to Drain the Swamp. The Donald is simply too trusting, and it bit him in the unmentionables. Rather than a competent business manager, we need an assassin in the White House. You simply cannot be polite when the task at hand calls for explosives rather than scalpels.

I’ve stated before that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis should be our candidate, and I am still of that opinion. Florida has its own Swamp (not the Everglades!), and DeSantis has proven himself adept at navigating it. Cato ranks Florida as “#2 overall” in freedom in the US, and hundreds of thousands of refugees from socialism come here every year, turning Florida red.

Regardless of the candidate, it’s necessary to cut off the head of the snake. Without that, all is lost. In the White House, the first task must be to fire everyone not involved in the logistics of the edifice. Gardeners, cooks, and housekeepers would be safe. Then trusted lieutenants could be brought in to do the minimal amount of work that must be done. Hundreds of staff are not needed. Ron Paul famously suggested that, if elected, he’d fire all but the essential sixteen.

Next, cabinet departments must have “Chainsaw Al Dunlap” type heads. Any failure to ask “How high?” after being told to jump should be grounds for immediate dismissal.

Of course, because Civil Service rules make actual firing difficult, various other methods would be employed. For jobs requiring security clearance, that clearance can be revoked. Clearances are completely discretionary and, without one, the employee can’t do his job and may not even be able to enter the workplace. Top that off with a transfer to the Department of Irrelevancy in International Falls, Minnesota, and you have a nice recipe for a resignation.

To sweeten the pot, the miscreant might be offered a few months of severance pay to resign without all the folderol. Of course, once that employee is gone, there should generally be no need to fill the chair. Government agencies are famously overstaffed already.

We can’t leave this station without noting that many executive branch agencies are positively harmful to our freedom and well-being. Every regulation should be examined for proper adherence to law and the Constitution, with failing grades resulting in rescission. While space does not allow a long discussion here, obvious departments for elimination are the Department of Education and the National Institutes of “Health.” NIH funds over 40% of all medical research, and you don’t get money if your work doesn’t support the orthodoxy of the Swamp. DOE mires millions in debt while universities get rich.

Finally, sunlight is indeed the best disinfectant. FOIA requests are routinely denied, slow-walked, and redacted. FOIAs should be the highest priority for any agency. They should be responded to in full, with zero redactions, within the thirty-day statutory limit. Staff who object should be summarily terminated for insubordination. The public has a right to know. They can’t trust their government if they are kept in the dark.

With the house-cleaning in the civilian agencies underway, every general staff officer above two-star rank should be immediately retired. Those officers are primarily political and, as General Milley demonstrated, their compliance with the lawful orders of the Commander-in-Chief is not reliable. Their security clearances should be immediately suspended, preventing them from sharing inside information with the New York Slimes and other establishment organs of ill repute. Choosing the replacements would be “interesting,” but proper review, including information from the ranks, would allow Below-the-Zone promotions of effective officers.

Donald Trump was right that the people need to be the rulers of this nation again. Unfortunately, he’s not well suited for the task ahead.

GDP Now Is Flashing Stagflation, Maybe Recession

Conventional wisdom holds that the U.S. economy is overheating. New workers are virtually unavailable, raw material costs are soaring, and of course financial asset prices are in the stratosphere. And that’s why the Fed has to tighten aggressively.

This is a compelling argument since most of the stats backing it are real.

However … all of the above might soon become obsolete in the face of dramatically slowing growth. The jury is still out, but the latest reading on the Atlan ta Fed’s GDPNow real-time growth measure is pretty grim.

The blue line on the following chart represents the consensus of top economists, while the green line is GDPNow’s growth rate based on the most recent numbers. The latter is brutal, as close to zero as it’s possible to get. But – much more important – even the higher consensus growth rate is too low for the “overheating” thesis. And it’s trending down.



Part of this sudden reversal of economic fortune is due to the US Q4 GDP report being mostly hot air, inflated as it was by a massive inventory build which will detract from rather than contribute to future growth. Kunstler: The Revolt Begins

So, it’s time to serve notice that the game is over. The nation rejects the phantom president and the cabal behind the Covid-19 hustle, and all the Woke hustles that rode in with it.

The Canadian trucker rebellion, rolling east across the vast, frozen Canadian prairie, blew into the country’s Woked-up capital city, Ottawa, like the scalding wrath of history, forcing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to skulk off punkishly under cover of night — after bad-mouthing the big-rig invaders as “a fringe minority” in a nation of otherwise obedient hypnotics sleepwalking into Big Pharma’s spike-protein fun-factory of all-causes early death.

The news media is working super-hard to avoid reporting the event, of course. Canada’s leading paper, The Toronto Star, put up a peevish little item complaining that a protester hung an upside-down maple leaf flag on a statue of national hero Terry Fox (a cancer-stricken athlete who ran across most of the country on a prosthetic leg in 1981 to raise cancer-awareness). The paper also mentioned that “[a] discordant symphony of truck horns blared across downtown Ottawa as demonstrators geared up for their second full day on local streets.” Beyond that, the paper lost interest.

Canada under the Trudeau government has been more restrictive on Covid-19 than the Big Gorilla to its south, with the population compliantly following all the insane, economy-wrecking rules, until a recent mandate to vaxx-up every last trucker in the land finally sparked-off a revolt. Mr. Trudeau’s Liberal Party failed to win a parliamentary majority in last September’s federal election, and he heads a flimsy coalition potentially facing a no-confidence vote that would drive the PM out of office.

For now, the truckers seem determined to stick around and disrupt the Canadian capital. Their estimated 50,000 rigs could surround the city and create siege conditions, where food supplies and other goods won’t get in, starving the government into surrendering on its mandates and restrictions. So far, the local Ottawa police have stood by with a very light hand, and there are rumors that they are on the same page as the truckers against federal overreach.

Will Mr. Trudeau resort to using the military to break up the revolt? Good luck with that. Like virtually every other “advanced” nation, Canada depends on trucks and truckers to move everything needed for everyday life. The truckers can just say no… we don’t feel like working this month. No poutine or Cornish pasties for you, Ottawa! Then what? Throw them all in jail? How will that help move stuff from Point A to Point B? It kind of looks like they have Mr. T over a Molson barrel. For now, it’s a stand-off, but it looks to me like the Prime Minister must resign and whoever takes charge next will have to rapidly rethink the country’s entire Covid-19 policy in a not-insane direction.

The Canadian revolt appears to be inspiring similar operations in the US, where a movement has started for a massive trucker convoy from California to Washington, DC — the swampy pivot-point of Covid tyranny under the phantasm known as “Joe Biden” — as a very general way of saying we’ve had enough of being pushed around by political grifters and their bureaucratic subalterns.

The Covid-19 saga gets darker every day, while the official alibis, cover-stories, and disinfo ops bend ever deeper toward an arc of criminality. The US government has lied about every plot-line in the two-year horror show. In fact, a conscientious observer would have to conclude the following: That the government’s highest-paid employee, Dr. Anthony Fauci, led surreptitiously in the creation and release of a bioweapon; that he and his cohorts, along with the pharma companies, and other interested parties such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Health Organization, enabled the release of so-called “vaccines” (genetic treatments) that were at least as deadly as the disease itself; that as a result of the shots many people of all ages will die before their natural time; that the process is already underway as documented in the all-causes death data tallied by insurance companies; that the same government officials maliciously suppressed viable, inexpensive, FDA-approved treatments for Covid-19 in order to herd the populace into receiving dangerous “vaccines”; that said officials have worked strenuously to muddle and fake the statistics that would show who is actually dying of what; and that the entire fiasco appears to have been ginned up in order to systematically control the population in ways contrary to our natural rights while killing off a substantial number of us.

Let the trucks roll from Fresno to DC if they still want to play rough. Think the “Joe Biden” gang will try to divert attention by starting a war in Ukraine? They don’t dare. Think the financial markets will tank? Well, of course they will, no matter what, because the markets and the money are detached from reality. Face it: what America needs most of all is to reconnect with reality, and you can be sure that the process will be uncomfortable, having sojourned so far from it for so long. Covid War Ending – Gerald Celente

Renowned trends researcher and publisher of “The Trends Journal,” Gerald Celente, boldly predicted back in April 2021, “We are going to start seeing a big anti-vax movement.” He was spot on. Now, Celente has another bold prediction: “The Covid War is coming to an end.” Celente explains, “On the virus, my forecast is the Covid war is going to end. Wind down, I should say significantly, by the end of March to mid-April. The new fear they are going to be selling after that is climate change.”

The wind down of Covid is really financial necessity. Celente says, “It’s killing businesses. New York City is a dead town. One after another you look at the places going out of business, and they are getting push back now. They can’t go on with this anymore. . . . They are killing the hospitality business, the restaurant business, they are all going down. They can’t go on like this, and they need the tax money. Politicians never work a day in their lives, so they need the money coming in.”

On the economic front, Celente predicted months ago that the Fed would be forced to raise rates. Now, the official inflation rate is 7%. The Fed is going to raise rates to fight inflation. Celente says, “Here is our forecast. This is a Paul Volker 2.0. You go back to 1982 and inflation was skyrocketing. They dramatically raised interest rates to stop it. (The Fed Funds Rate hit 20% under Volker’s plan.) So, they stopped inflation. They also dragged down the economy. . . . The markets are going to go down. . . . I don’t see a crash, at this point, in real estate.”

Celente also says oil could keep rising and inflation too. Celente says, “They are going to have to keep raising interest rates more and more to fight inflation, and if that keeps going, that’s when it will collapse. If inflation keeps going up and they have to raise rates much beyond the 2% mark, it’s over.”

Celente also gives his take on what is going on in Ukraine, and it’s not flattering to the Biden Administration. Celente talks about many other top trends as well.

The Gates foundation admits investing $1.75 billion to the COVID vaccine’s development and distribution

I came across a video that the globalists are desperately trying to purge from the internet. By the time you read this article, it will probably be gone. In the video, Fauci explains the normal process of producing a vaccine and the process they undertook to get a ‘vaccine’ for COVID-19. It reveals much.

A brief history first: Patents for the Coronavirus have been around since 1999 with Dr. Ralph Baric. In 2002, the virus was seen as exploitable. On April 25, 2003, the CDC saw an opportunity from a virus that can be easily manipulated or artificially adapted to infect humans (gain of function). They filed a patent on the Coronavirus transmitted to humans, its detection and measuring, a potential gold mine. Since nature is prohibited from being patented, then it must be a manufactured virus. If it is a manufactured virus then it must also be illegal, against international law and treaties as a bioweapon. In 2007, the CDC requested that the application be kept confidential. Between 2003 and 2018, Anthony Fauci, Ralph Baric and the CDC were at the hub of control of the virus, controlling 100% of the cash flow from the coronavirus arms race. In a moment of clarity, between 2012 and 2013 the federal funding for research was halted, but those involved were authorized to keep going. In other words, off-shore the research…fund it through a series of cover organizations. The Gates foundation admits investing $1.75 billion to the COVID vaccine’s development and distribution. Enter the recipient, Wuhan Lab, Wuhan, China.

Going back to the video…rather than take the chance of including the video and the reader coming up with nothing when clicking the link, I decided to give the reader a close synopsis of what Fauci said. I’ve done my best to give it to you word for word:

“Vaccines, to be safe and effective, take 5,6,7 years to develop. That is unacceptable for now.

As soon as we got the sequence of the virus from the Chinese we pulled it out of the public database and worked on it within a day of when it came out. Sixty-five days later we gave the first injection to a normal volunteer for phase 1 trial to see if it is safe. That’s the fastest it’s ever been done. That’s the good news.

The challenging news [or bad news] is even at that rocket speed, it’s going to take a few months to show that the initial safety is ok.

Then you go into a phase 2 trial which, instead of involving 45 people which we had in the 1st trial, it involves hundreds, if not, thousands of people. That can take 6 - 8 months to even know if it works. So, the fastest we can go is a year to a year and a half to know if we have a vaccine we can use.

There’s another element of safety. That is, if you vaccinate someone and they make an antibody response and then they get exposed and infected…does the response that you induce actually enhance the infection and make it worse? And the only way you’ll know that is if you do an extended study… not in a normal volunteer who has no risk of infection, but in people who are out there in a risk situation.”

Everyone who took the jab is taking part in a trial. Billions of people who trusted the medical profession are now lab rats with scientists waiting for the results. Where those vaccinated people will be in a year, 5 years, 10 years, no one knows. All for a disease with a better than 99% chance of survival with therapeutics we already have.

It has now been shown by scientists and doctors that the COVID-19 vaccine is dangerous. It degrades and suppresses the immune system and can actually exacerbate any medical condition the recipient may have, cancer, heart disease, vascular disease, etc. In other words, the vaccines are designed to hide while bringing out any weakness in the host so as not to blame the vaccine.

There are many eminent scientists, doctors, scientific writers, and religious leaders, who have studied the results of the vaccine and the vaccine itself. They now believe they can show that the vaccines are a bio-weapon, that life-saving treatments were deliberately withheld, that doctors, nurses, medical experts, scientists, and journalists were censored, that Fauci and others took advantage of a trusting President Trump and a manipulated, senile President Biden. All to further a massive societal change scheme to get us ready for The Great Reset.

Facebook, Twitter and others gave hundreds of millions of dollars to the Democrat Party to defeat Trump, censor opposition, and push an ineffective, immune degrading, gene altering, COVID vaccine.

The Democrat Party (DNC) has destroyed our economy, restricted our movement, and inhibited millions of families the ability to provide for their families, causing inescapable debt. They have bought ‘approval’ of their policies with billions of dollars in COVID aid to the medical profession, pharmaceutical companies, teachers unions, multi-nationals, even China, causing an entire generation to stay home rather than work or go to school. It caused untold damage to small business, families and the future of millions of the young.

The DNC has rigged our political, judicial, and election system, corrupted both political parties to keep COVID alive, using the manufactured chaos to their political advantage.

Our healthcare system has been so perverted as to destroy its once envious and precious credibility. Patients are denied care if they do not agree to vaccination, with transplant patients being removed from waiting lists, condemning them to certain death.

Athletes of all ages, airline pilots, teachers, doctors, nurses, students, even reporters are collapsing where they stand or sit and are either dying or having to be hospitalized due to the jab. A Navy pilot recently crashed into the USS Vinson when he was struck suddenly by myocarditis, a frequent side-effect of the jab. The incident injured 7 sailors. With the help of a complicit media, our government is hiding the story.

When will we see the obvious? When will we understand that a political party and a global cabal, eugenics adherents, have used a manufactured pandemic to rob us of our two-party democratic republic to establish a one-party tyrannical government?

COVID-19 was and remains a tool of those who would commit crimes against humanity, steal our great country…take from us our freedom, our moral, God-fearing culture and replace it with a vile combination of godless communism and fascism, forever perverting our republic and the world. May it never be.

Kunstler: Old Man, Look at Your Life…

Rock’n’roller Neil Young’s conniption over having to share the Spotify platform with Joe Rogan affords a glimpse into the glutenous mire that is a mind bethinking itself “progressive” these drear days of American unraveling. For those of you not tuned in: Joe Rogan is a comedian and martial arts maven who runs the most popular podcast in the world, renowned for long-form interviews (three hours sometimes!) often with high-powered intellectuals. A month ago, he interviewed the mRNA developer Dr. Robert Malone, who has become an outspoken opponent of the Covid-19 mRNA “vaccines,” and of the US-led world pandemic policy in general under Dr. Anthony Fauci, going as far as to call for an immediate end to the world-wide vaxxing program because, Dr. Malone says, the vaxxes don’t work and they kill and disable people. Hearing that, Mr. Young called for Joe Rogan to be cancelled for spreading “misinformation.”

It’s worth paying attention to just how disordered Mr. Young’s thinking is because it summarizes everything that has gone awry on the political Left: He is wrong two ways: 1) morally, and 2) on the facts of the matter — which is as wrong as you can be. Like virtually everyone on the Democratic Party / Woke / Progressive axis, he is obviously in favor of suppressing free speech. Since when did that become okay for old hippies?

If I remember correctly (cuz I was there) the youth movement of the 1960s was all about freedom to say pretty much anything, except yell “fire” in a crowded theater — based on the idea that ordinary people were equipped to sort out the truth. During the War in Vietnam, we hippies were especially averse to the official lying that emanated from the Department of Defense, the FBI, the CIA, and the White House under both Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. We founded “alternative” newspapers in defiance of the establishment’s propaganda. We applauded Daniel Ellsberg’s purloined Pentagon Papers, revealing the mendacity of the war effort. Altogether, this activity made it more difficult for the government to prosecute that war, and to defend the strategy behind it.

Today the Left is not only all-in on speech suppression, but also censorship of print and broadcasting, and is especially avid for the diverse punishments of cancellation — ruining careers, reputations, livelihoods, and families of anyone who opposes Woke right-think. Alternate views are not tolerated, labeled “unacceptable” (Mr. Young put it exactly that way), and flagged as “misinformation” (ditto Mr. Young). It’s gotten to the point where the word misinformation has acquired a distinct odor that signals bad faith in everyone who flogs it. These days, the charge of misinformation is deliberate misinformation.

Today, the Left is all-in for FBI home invasions, DOJ malicious prosecutions, CIA manipulations of public opinion, a fake president fronting for an unseen cabal, and a news media that wouldn’t know the actual shape and substance of reality if it jumped up and bit Jim Acosta on the lips. Fortunately, enough Americans now see through this matrix of bad faith and mendacity that the opposition is poised to wipe up the floor with the Left in next November’s election. The Left has screwed things up so completely that the end of Covid will expose every broken thing on the landscape — and now it’s up to others to try to repair it all, if possible. One thing is certain to happen a little less than a year from now, the day a new Congress is sworn in: “Joe Biden,” if he is still alive, and still in office, will be impeached. And unlike his several predecessors — Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump — “Joe Biden” will be convicted in the Senate, too, and of serious crimes against his country, not just trivialities because the evidence is there. He’ll be convicted of the very things spelled out in the constitution: treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

The laptop computer belonging to the Biden family bag-man, Hunter Biden, is not only still in the negligent possession of the FBI, but many faithful copies of its hard-drive were mindfully distributed to safe hands outside the agency. The email, contracts, and memoranda on it contain a clear record of bribery from foreign nations and money laundering to conceal the trail of all that grift. “Joe Biden’s” deliberate open border policy, and the purposeful transport of unvetted illegal aliens from scores of foreign countries to cities all over the USA, certainly represents an arrant and treasonous failure to uphold the law. It remains to be seen what kind of fiasco his misadventures in Ukraine may foment, but we’ll know presently.

A Government Study Shows that Wall Street Megabanks Have Dramatically Shifted their Derivative Exposure to Corporations

The last thing a volatile stock market needs right now is more surprises from the dark corners of Wall Street. Unfortunately, we can guarantee you that more surprises are coming in the way of uncleared derivatives blowing up on the balance sheets of publicly-traded corporations.

How do we know this? The information in the chart above comes from a study quietly released last July by the Office of Financial Research (OFR)( https://bit.ly/3KSNm1E ). That’s the federal agency that provides research to bank regulators to prevent systemic financial contagion from taking down the Wall Street megabanks and the U.S. economy in another replay of 2008.

What the study actually shows, however, is that neither Congress nor bank regulators have done anything meaningful to prevent derivatives from once again blowing up the world’s largest economy. Instead, the watchdogs have simply allowed a rearrangement of the deck shares on the Titanic. While Wall Street megabanks previously concentrated their counterparty risk with each other and foreign global banks, necessitating that the Fed had to bail out dodgy banks on foreign shores, they’ve now shifted their counterparty risk to corporations.

The study is silent on the names of these corporations. We contacted the lead author of the study yesterday asking for the industries these corporations were concentrated in and he chose to remain silent. The study is also silent on the names of the megabanks, but we already know from the quarterly reports from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency that JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley control over 80 percent of all derivatives at all bank holding companies in America.

According to the OFR study:

“Compositional breakdowns between bank, non-bank financial and non-financial corporate counterparties in OTC derivative markets has dramatically changed since the financial crisis. Publicly available data indicate that the share of financial firms in aggregate bank exposures has decreased while the share of non-financial corporations has increased….”

Corporations on the hook for losses as counterparties to the Wall Street megabanks’ derivative trades didn’t just “increase.” It skyrocketed according to the red line in the above chart. And it skyrocketed in the most dangerous area of derivatives – those bilateral trades that are secret contracts between the bank and the corporation and are not cleared on any central clearinghouse. The OFR study confirms that there is no sunshine on these derivative trades, writing that they contributed to systemic risks during the 2008 financial crisis and “remain an area of limited visibility for regulators and policymakers.”

The OFR study puts the net credit exposure of these corporations to derivatives at more than $700 billion as of June 2020. And there is good reason to suspect that these are not plain-vanilla interest rate swaps. Those swaps are typically centrally-cleared. It’s the murkier derivatives like credit default swaps that remain uncleared at central clearinghouses and that’s what the OFR study is looking at.

When a century-old conservative corporation has to report a big loss from a stupid derivatives trade with a big Wall Street bank – which always has an informational advantage on who’s going to lose on the trade (think Goldman Sachs shorting their own subprime debt bombs) – it harms the corporation’s reputation and share price. Investors don’t know how many more secret derivative trades are hiding out on the corporation’s balance sheet and just how stupid management is when it comes to entering into derivative contracts with Wall Street.

Financial Cycle Down, War Cycle Up – Charles Nenner

Renowned geopolitical and financial cycle expert Charles Nenner says his cycle analysis shows the highs are in for the stock market, and it’s downhill from here—way downhill. Nenner’s analysis show major support was breached at the beginning of 2022. Nenner explains, “If it closes below the trend line, you better get out of the stock market, and it did. Now, in January, it has closed much lower that all the quarterly lows. This is not making lows on a daily chart but a quarterly chart, and that is much more important than short term. . . . I did a report about how many stocks are in an uptrend and how many stocks are in a down trend. I think 50% is already in a bear market. There are just a few stocks that are holding up the market, like . . . Microsoft, Apple, Google. I looked into what the earnings are . . . it was clear they are never going to sustain those prices. . . . I think 1% of the stocks are holding up 40% of the S&P. Once they give in, the markets go down. A lot of people have already lost a lot of money because most stocks do not perform anymore. I think we are very close, and my target is still 5,000 (on the DOW). It seems very farfetched, but it you just do the math. . . . The media will not help you. They will invite you if you talk about markets going up because the companies that want to advertise with them want to sell. So, very few companies like to talk about stocks going up and do not care if it goes up or down. We just tell you the truth.” Nenner says he and his clients are out of the stock market since the first of the year.

Nenner does cycle work for oil, the dollar, Bitcoin, interest rates and the bond market, to name a few. Nenner says interest rates have hit their lows and “are going up for the next thirty years.” Nenner thinks gold will be going up to at least $2,500 per ounce, but it has a short while before it starts moving up. Nenner says the only market investors should be long is the commodity markets. Commodities are going to go up for years to come, according to Nenner’s cycle work.

No cycle is more important to Nenner these days than the “War Cycle.” Nenner does not see a war with Russia, but he expects after the Winter Olympics in China, things are going to turn dramatically more intense with the CCP. Nenner says, “I think the big problem after the Olympics is going to be China. . . . nobody is going to do anything against China, and I think they are going to take over Taiwan. If the West is going to fight, then we have major war.”

Mysterious energy source unlike anything astronomers have seen before

A team mapping radio waves in the universe has discovered something unusual that releases a giant burst of energy three times an hour, and it's unlike anything astronomers have seen before.

The team that discovered it think it could be a neutron star or a white dwarf—collapsed cores of stars—with an ultra-powerful magnetic field. Spinning in space, the strange object sends out a beam of radiation that crosses Earth's line of sight, and for one minute in every 20, is one of the brightest radio sources in the sky.

Astrophysicist Dr. Natasha Hurley-Walker, from the Curtin University node of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, led the team that made the discovery. "This object was appearing and disappearing over a few hours during our observations," she said. "That was completely unexpected. It was kind of spooky for an astronomer because there's nothing known in the sky that does that. And it's really quite close to us—about 4,000 light-years away. It's in our galactic backyard."

The object was discovered by Curtin University Honors student Tyrone O'Doherty using the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) telescope in outback Western Australia and a new technique he developed. "It's exciting that the source I identified last year has turned out to be such a peculiar object," said Mr O'Doherty, who is now studying for a Ph.D. at Curtin. "The MWA's wide field of view and extreme sensitivity are perfect for surveying the entire sky and detecting the unexpected."

Objects that turn on and off in the universe aren't new to astronomers—they call them transients. ICRAR-Curtin astrophysicist and co-author Dr. Gemma Anderson said, "When studying transients, you're watching the death of a massive star or the activity of the remnants it leaves behind."

Slow transients like supernovae might appear over the course of a few days and disappear after a few months. Fast transients, like a type of neutron star called a pulsar, flash on and off within milliseconds or seconds. But Dr. Anderson said finding something that turned on for a minute was really weird. She said the mysterious object was incredibly bright and smaller than the sun, emitting highly-polarized radio waves—suggesting the object had an extremely strong magnetic field.

Dr. Hurley-Walker said the observations match a predicted astrophysical object called an ultra-long period magnetar. "It's a type of slowly spinning neutron star that has been predicted to exist theoretically," she said. "But nobody expected to directly detect one like this because we didn't expect them to be so bright. Somehow it's converting magnetic energy to radio waves much more effectively than anything we've seen before."

Dr. Hurley-Walker is now monitoring the object with the MWA to see if it switches back on. "If it does, there are telescopes across the Southern Hemisphere and even in orbit that can point straight to it," she said.

Dr. Hurley-Walker plans to search for more of these unusual objects in the vast archives of the MWA. "More detections will tell astronomers whether this was a rare one-off event or a vast new population we'd never noticed before," she said.

MWA director, Professor Steven Tingay, said the telescope is a precursor instrument for the Square Kilometre Array—a global initiative to build the world's largest radio telescopes in Western Australia and South Africa. "Key to finding this object, and studying its detailed properties, is the fact that we have been able to collect and store all the data the MWA produces for almost the last decade at the Pawsey Research Supercomputing Centre. Being able to look back through such a massive dataset when you find an object is pretty unique in astronomy," he said. "There are, no doubt, many more gems to be discovered by the MWA and the SKA in coming years."

The Murchison Widefield Array is located on the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory in Western Australia. The observatory is managed by CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, and was established with the support of the Australian and Western Australian Governments. “Omicron Transmission is Likely Facilitated by The Vaccines”: Dr. Malone Warns That If We Keep Vaccinating, We Risk Developing a More “Pathogenic Virus” – (VIDEO)

On Monday, Dr. Robert Malone spoke alongside several other world-renowned doctors and medical experts during a panel discussion that was hosted by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI),

The nearly five-hour-long event, which was titled “Covid-19: A Second Opinion,” saw a wide range of issues discussed, including “the global pandemic response, the current state of knowledge of early and hospital treatment, vaccine efficacy, and safety, what went right, what went wrong, what should be done now, and what needs to be addressed long term,” according to its description on Sen. Johnson’s website.

During the event, Dr. Malone, who is one of the esteemed inventors behind the mRNA technology that is being used in the experimental Covid vaccines, stressed that the worldwide campaign to vaccinate everyone under the sun, and hook them on perpetual boosters, is actually severely detrimental to the prospects of ever getting past this shamdemic – especially, he says, with the emergence of the highly infectious, but overtly mild, Omicron variant.

According to Dr. Malone, if the public health regime continues to push this terrible universal vaccination policy, it will keep driving the virus to mutate, potentially to a state where it may be “more pathogenic and more able to elude immune response.”

“As I said back before Christmas, that Omicron has such [a] low risk for severe disease and death. However, it’s got a warning sign – and it’s what Geert [Belgian viral expert Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche] has been warning about, and what the FDA has acknowledged in the original documents allowing the Emergency Use Authorization – in which they told the pharmaceutical industry that they desired the pharmaceutical industry would investigate the risks of antibody-dependent enhancement or vaccine enhanced disease.

If we continue to pursue this universal vaccination strategy in the face of the pandemic, particularly with Omicron now – a much more highly infectious, highly replication-competent virus – what we risk is driving the virus through basic evolution to a state where it may be more pathogenic and more able to elude immune response… in some, I don’t wish to scare, we have had enough fear-porn.”

Dr. Malone continues by pointing out that the currently employed ‘sCiENcE’ behind the universal vaccinations is actually going directly against everything known about “basic viral evolution,” and the impact of the terrible plan is already starting to produce potentially catastrophic results.

Omicron, Dr. Malone says, is not only resistant to the experimental vaccines, but the new strain’s “infectivity” also “seems to be facilitated by the vaccine.”

He concludes, “this [universal vaccination] must stop for the sake of the world.”

“But if we continue to pursue universal vaccination the high probability is that what we will continue to see is the evolution of additional escaped mutants that are increasingly infectious and may well become more pathogenic.

This policy of forced universal vaccination is absolutely contrary to all of our understanding about basic viral evolution. We are clearly seeing the development of escape mutants that are resistant to the vaccine. Omicron is not only resistant to the vaccine, but its infectivity seems to be facilitated by the vaccine – and in my opinion, this must stop for the sake of the world.”

Lockdowns, Masks, and Vaccines Have All Been Complete Failures, But That’s Not the Real Problem

It’s becoming ever more apparent that the government health intelligentsia’s efforts to protect Americans from COVID have been a complete failure. That’s why you’ve heard nothing about its success.

But here’s what we do know for sure:

There’s never been any convincing evidence that wearing a loose-fitting rag over your face stops viral spread, but if that doesn’t give one pause to question the efficacy of the practice, then there’s always the incontrovertible fact that there isn’t a single place on the planet which can be pointed toward as the beacon of evidence for the efficacy of mask mandates.

Regarding the insanity of mass masking, Ian Miller continues doing the yeoman’s work of using government-collected data to produce very convincing arguments that the cloth masks and mandates are useless, in both easily digestible graphics and prose, on his Substack and Twitter account -- both of which I recommend. You won’t be shocked to learn that the media has, thus far, been uninterested in reporting any of it.

Those who brought us the six-foot distancing standard have openly admitted that they invented it without any real scientific premise -- it just sounded good, and they thought it was something people could easily follow. And societal lockdowns in general, once just a matter of “the science,” have proven to be more counterproductive than productive. Italy, which is often credited with having “invented” the concept of a national lockdown” in the West, implemented “some of the strictest lockdown measures in the world,” according to Thomas Fazi and Toby Green at UnHerd. They continue:

"Yet Italy is also one of the countries with the highest mortality rate per capita – well above the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, and several other countries that adopted much less restrictive measures. And there’s evidence that this isn’t despite the lockdowns, but, most likely, because of them."

Similarly, lockdowns have obviously failed in America. Texas and Florida, for example, have fared much better than the crazed lockdown prisons of New York and New Jersey. People aren’t fleeing to places like Texas and Florida in record numbers because they think COVID will be more likely to kill them in these less restrictive places. Rather, they know, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that COVID is unlikely to kill them in any state, and are simply seeking greener pastures when it comes to their own life and liberty.

Like the stupid masks and the stupid lockdowns that have proven to be more harmful than helpful, the vaccines have also proven entirely ineffective at achieving what we were all promised they would.

These vaccines do not prevent infection. These vaccines do not prevent transmission. These vaccines, at best, help to prevent serious illness or death from infection. In this regard, it’s very difficult to understand these drugs to be “vaccines” at all. And these drugs most certainly introduce unknown health risks for healthy people who are at virtually zero risk of harm from the virus. One study finds, for example, that teenage boys who get the jab are six times more likely to be hospitalized from heart complications related to the vaccine than they are at risk of hospitalization due to the virus.

Those are facts. And, knowing that those are indisputable facts that not even Dr. Anthony Fauci would refute, there is no reason for any rational human being to support universal vaccination or perpetual booster shots for COVID.

The vaccines do not provide the salvation that was promised. Government lockdowns create more harm than good. Masks do not work and have never worked anywhere. There is ample evidence to prove all of that, and so clear is this evidence now that Britain has just announced that it would be ending nearly all anti-COVID restrictions, including masking in public, vaccine passes for large venues, and all work-from-home requirements.

That’s good news. America followed the Euro-herd into lockdown, and following them out would be a welcome development. But the biggest problem with the anti-COVID restrictions isn’t that they don’t work. The problem with them is something much more fundamental.

On Bill Maher’s most recent show, Bari Weiss stumbles upon the most important problem with these restrictions, passionately telling Maher and his audience:

"I’m sorry, if you believe the science, you will look at the data that we did not have two years ago, and you will find out that cloth masks do not do anything. You will realize that you can show your vaccine passport at a restaurant and still be asymptomatic and carrying Omicron.

And you will realize, most importantly, that this is going to be remembered by the younger generation as a catastrophic moral crime…

People are killing themselves. They’re anxious. They are depressed. They are lonely. That is why we need to end it, more than any inconvenience to that it’s been to the rest of us. I think…it’s a pandemic of bureaucracy!"

And the audience, undoubtedly comprised of mostly leftwing mask mavens and Fauci cultists, roared its applause.

There is no greater sign that the tide is turning against our oppressors than that, but it seems clear to me that the audience missed the point of her comments, and, quite frankly, I’m not sure that it was even entirely clear to Ms. Weiss.

There are two ways to look at this argument to end masking, lockdowns, and vaccine requirements.

The first is that because all of these infringements upon our liberty failed miserably and are not only entirely ineffective but harmful, we can and should go back to something close to what life looked like before. This appears to be why so many people have now begun to oppose them.

But imagine, for one moment, that the lockdowns, masks, or vaccines actually did work. Would that mean the government could force us to take experimental vaccines, lockdown society, or mask up into perpetuity? Because that wouldn’t address the myriad other problems that Ms. Weiss describes as the result of government policy when it comes to COVID, like rampant loneliness, depression, anxiety, drug abuse, and suicide.

No, the problem with vaccine mandates, lockdowns, and compulsory masking is not that they don’t work, but that they take the life out of life. The problem is that by submitting to all of that in order to have a small sense of security, we traded our freedom to go to church, to dine at our neighborhood restaurant with friends, to attend a football game, to earn a living without being forced to inject substances into our bodies, and to even see our friends and neighbors smiling at us when we pass them at the grocery store.

Those are the things that make life worth living. And even if lockdowns, masks, and the vaccines did work, what we’ve seen these past two years would still amount to nothing more than an unjust and tyrannical violation of our God-given right to life and liberty, which our government exists to protect.

If we can’t be sure that we’re arguing on those grounds, rather than arguing about the efficacy of these particular infringements upon our liberty by an unelected and unaccountable government bureaucracy, then we can be sure that the next infringements they devise for us will be far more brazen and harmful.

Kunstler: A Real American Hero

Wonder much about the eerie blank demeanor of Erin Burnett, who delivers the 7:00 o’clock news on CNN? I sure do. It’s a creepy kind of fraught blankness, like what the Vietnam grunts used to call the thousand-mile stare, denoting their guilty involvement in a morally odious enterprise. Of course, one must follow CNN in order to discern what fresh bullshit the governing regime is serving up day-to-day from its steam-table of perfidy and bad faith. Does the lady hate her job that much? Or does that farbissiner face signify mere simmering contempt for the audience of deplorable elderly gorks receiving said bullshit over their pitiful TV trays of Ensure on Froot Loops? Or maybe a miniature Donald Trump lives in her head dressed in a little red devil suit with horns, stabbing her parietal lobes with his tiny pitchfork?

Seeing as how Ms. Burnett is the mouthpiece for the Progressive Woke news media in the primest evening slot, does that glowering visage represent the peculiar joylessness of the political Left, a movement steeped in a special kind of shame induced by the irritating failure of its ideas to comport with reality? This is the joylessness of people bunkered too deep in anomie to even find pleasure in their own sadism. Thus, the hint of bored indignation: how dare you not believe the bullshit I am delivering on behalf of your betters… who know what’s good for you?

Or maybe the girl is just on quaaludes.

Anyway, nothing serves as a better barometer of how things are going in the struggle over the fate of this tortured land than Erin Burnett’s scowling puss. And where is this country going? I will tell you: straight into a dark passage of the profoundest political discord, an epochal nightmare of loss and death brought on, it begins to seem, deliberately, by the folks in charge. They are being found out, and the fact that they remain in charge spells ever more obvious danger among all concerned as the truth of their crimes emerges.

Sunday, at the March Against Mandates in our nation’s capital, the resistance to Covid vaccine tyranny laid it out, none with plainer eloquence than Bobby Kennedy:

"We love the United States Constitution. And we have witnessed over the past 20 months a coup d’etat against democracy and the demolition, the controlled demolition of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. And starting with the censorship. James Madison, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson all said the same thing: we put freedom of speech in the first amendment because all of the other rights that we were trying to protect relied on that right. If you give government the license to silence its critics, you have given them the capacity to commit any atrocity they want, and to obliterate all the amendments and rights in the constitution."

The message is getting through and the tyrants are running scared. They are perhaps having bad dreams involving torches and pitchforks. Naturally CNN took the lead in attempting to defame Mr. Kennedy as an anti-Semite for mentioning the name of Anne Frank in alluding to the Nazi insanity of the last century and people’s desperate efforts to escape it. CNN said:

"The son of former Attorney General and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy has a long history of spreading vaccine misinformation…. Sunday’s event, billed as a protest against vaccine mandates, featured speakers repeatedly spreading misinformation about vaccines and showcased several bigoted comparisons to the Holocaust. At least one man was seen displaying a yellow Star of David, which Jews were required by law to wear as an identifier in Nazi Germany."

So, wearing a Star of David now makes you an insurrectionist in the twisted logic of Wokery. How stupid and confused are they? Anyway, heroes emerge out of adversity. Let them pile it on, insulting history and reality. In fact, Bobby Kennedy stood in the cold at the Lincoln Memorial as a heroic figure for these times, giving a speech that carefully and succinctly denoted the stupendous criminality of the US public health bureaucracy and the corporate-government fascist partnership with Pharma Inc. that has poisoned hundreds of millions of Americans in a medical experiment that has only begun to kill possibly more people than the Nazis ever dreamed of murdering. There has not been a more important public utterance in this land than RFK Jr.’s since this century began.

Meanwhile, the Covid tyranny collapses across Western Civ. Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the UK tossed his country’s entire Covid restriction program into the dumpster last week as the truth about vaccine failure and injuries became impossible to avoid. The Czech Republic and Ireland followed. France made noises about lifting her policies in February. For now, Germany and Austria remained locked-into their Teutonic obedience neurosis, but how much longer can that last? Or does it finally break up the EU? Large street protests rocked European cities Sunday, too. The vaccines have lost their credibility as sacred totems against the accelerating chaos in the advanced nations of the world, who stand to lose the very advancements in prosperity, comfort, and convenience they enjoyed in the centuries of energy super-abundance.

What awaits now is mayhem in the financial markets, the banking system, and national currencies — underway even as you read this. It’s not enough that the people of Western Civ have been battered by a contrived assault on their physical health; now they’ll watch themselves go broke and hungry. Maybe even the monsters of idiocy behind president “Joe Biden” can cook up a world-beating hypersonic war over a country we have next-to-zero national interest in just to make things perfect. I can’t wait to see the look on Erin Burnett’s face as the history of the future unspools.

Vax Die-Off for Next Three Years – Clif High

Clif High is an Internet data mining expert who uses “Predictive Linguistics” and computer programs to sort through billions of bits of information on the Internet to predict future trends and events. Some of his most disturbing trends he has spotted in his data analysis surround the CV19 vax. High is seeing the vax narrative breaking down. It may only be a matter of weeks before the restrictions and coerced injections are over, but that does not mean it’s clear sailing. According to High, the worst by far is yet to come. High explains, “So, it’s breaking down. The real horror is yet awaiting us, and that’s when all of the people who have been harmed by these injections wake up and realize they have been harmed and will have the natural emotions that accompany that.”

The CDC is now reporting a 40% increase in death totals for 2021. The reports are saying the huge increase is “unexplained.” High and many others say the CV19 injections explain it all, and it’s only going to get much harder to explain. High’s analysis says, “I think we are looking at three years here before it peaks: 2022, 2023 and 2024. There is a lot of stuff in the data that says 2024 will be the tail-off of it. So, we have a number of very rough years ahead of us. Each year in succession will have more people dying than the year before. There is also going to be more infirmities, more illness and more of a drain on the system. In this three years, we will take the globalists to task and hold them accountable for their crimes. We are going to have a ‘red pill’ moment that’s coming soon. It’s not going to take months. It’s not going to take weeks. It’s going to take a short period of time, and many of them are going to go ballistic. So, I expect frequent, irregular, episodic, periods of chaos. They won’t be lashing out at society at large. They will be lashing out at their abusers. . . . You will need to stand back. People will need to understand that there will be a section of the social order that is going to go crazy in anger, grief and all of this. These will be very violent reactions to having been poisoned, and some of them will be spectacularly so in terms of the violence of it. It’s not going to be wise to hang out around these elite guys.”

High’s analysis now says at least “30 million people will die from the CV19 injections” one way or another in the next few years, and that could be a very low estimate.

For a reminder to our readers of what happened in 2018, the last time the Fed gently tapped its foot on the brake four times, we’ve listed below some of the headlines we ran in 2018 at Wall Street On Parade. The Fed was not at all aggressive with rate hikes in 2018: it gently raised the Fed Funds rate by a quarter of a point on March 22, June 14, September 27 and December 20.

The S&P 500 closed the year with a loss of 6.24 percent while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gave up 5.6 percent. Those were the largest losses in a decade and it was from just four gentle taps on the brake.

But the full year losses hardly capture the brutal sell off in the last quarter of the year. The S&P 500 plunged 13.97 percent while the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 11.8 percent. The Nasdaq went into a bungee dive in the fourth quarter, giving up 17.5 percent. The Nasdaq closed the full year down 3.9 percent.

Can the Fed Engineer a Soft Landing for the Biggest Bubble Since $12,000 Tulip Bulbs?

In her 2007 book, Tulipmania: Money, Honor, and Knowledge in the Dutch Golden Age, Anne Goldgar writes that a tulip bulb in 1637 sold for the equivalent of $12,000 in 2007 money. Now think about the tens of millions of dollars that were spent last year for one NFT. It’s pretty clear that Tulipmania has nothing on the Fed-induced Bubblemania that is currently in the early stages of The Great Unwind.

Goldgar points out that as historians have looked back, the tulip mania of the 1630s in Holland has become a “byword for idiocy.”

At least a tulip bulb is a thing of beauty that reblooms year after year. Bitcoin, called “rat poison squared” by Warren Buffett, one of the smartest investors of all time, is not a thing of beauty, has nothing backing it, and is currently in free fall. After trading as high as $69,355 in November on the CME’s futures market, its front month futures contract closed at $36,725 on the CME today, a dive of 47 percent from its previous high.

Bitcoin was supposed to be the digital replacement for gold – a safe haven in a financial selloff. But Bitcoin, which along with other crypto currencies can be leveraged by hedge funds on a 100 times to 1 basis, closed down 13.94 percent on the CME today while the tech and SPAC bubble known as the Nasdaq stock market, closed down 2.72 percent on the day.

In early July 2019, economist Nouriel Roubini effectively summed up Bitcoin as this era’s “byword for idiocy,” stating the following on Bloomberg News:

“Crypto currencies are not even currencies. They’re a joke…The price of Bitcoin has fallen in a week by how much – 30 percent. It goes up 20 percent one day, collapses the next. It is not a means of payment, nobody, not even this blockchain conference, accepts Bitcoin for paying for conference fees cause you can do only five transactions per second with Bitcoin. With the Visa system you can do 25,000 transactions per second…Crypto’s nonsense. It’s a failure. Nobody’s using it for any transactions. It’s trading one sh*tcoin for another sh*tcoin. That’s the entire trading or currency in the space where’s there’s price manipulation, spoofing, wash trading, pump and dumping, frontrunning. It’s just a big criminal scam and nothing else.”

Today’s unwinding bubble has plenty of folks attempting to pump air back into it as it deflates. Consider the crazy headline that ran at 9:49 a.m. this Tuesday at Bloomberg News. It read: “Tech Stocks Unravel While Banks Are Hot in 2022 Rotation.” The first paragraph of the article read: “Technology stocks are out of favor, while previously shunned bank shares are popular again, as a persistent jump in bond yields is turning markets upside down this year.”

We knew that was a crazy theory so we decided to chart it. (See below.) Since November 1, 2021, shares of Goldman Sachs (which became a bank holding company in 2008) have lost 17 percent; JPMorgan Chase, the biggest bank in the U.S., has lost almost 15 percent, while the tech-laden Nasdaq stock market is down 12 percent. Rotating out of Big Tech into Big Banks is like the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. You don’t trade one bubble for another bubble and find your way out of this corn maze of bubbles.

It’s a bitter thing to realize that all the institutions you trusted through these many years have turned against you. It’s a hard place to be when these institutions and concerns, governmental, medical, educational, media, and multi-nationals have abandoned everything you believe in and everything on which the country was founded.

There are multi-billionaires, politicians, and oligarchs whose quest for power and riches overtake any form of loyalties

It’s even worse when you find that it was for the sake of money and power. It has become apparent that these institutions have sold out our country for mere cash, much of it Chinese cash. They say the quest for profit knows no ideology, but this is a new low. So much trust has been broken all around, especially concerning the health care industry.

There are multi-billionaires, politicians, and oligarchs whose quest for power and riches overtake any form of loyalties. Their myopic vision is only focused on themselves, the antithesis of the civic-minded servant. Guarantee them enduring power while retaining their riches, and you will have their ear(s). And that goes for politicians as well, both Republican and Democrat. Many would say, it’s only business, it’s nothing personal. Destroy a nation and it becomes very personal.

Aldous Huxley (1894-1963), English novelist, saw it clearly in 1958. He foresaw a profusion of power, those with more money and power than brains and sense, able to, as he put it, ‘shape and defy popular will.’ He saw democracies changing. He predicted: “The old quaint forms—elections, parliaments, Supreme Courts and all the rest will remain. The underlying substance will be a new kind of non-violent totalitarianism.” Could he have seen the birth of the Deep State, an out of control Big Tech… the form of a constitutional republic with an underlying, lurking fascist dictatorship?

But, Mr. Huxley was only partly right. It is no longer non-violent. He didn’t foresee a manufactured virus and its ‘vaccines’ for the purpose of killing millions of people to the same end. There is much talk of a Nuremberg 2.0 in the near future.

Globalists protecting the interests of the Chinese communists

The Biden family, Nancy Pelosi, Anthony Fauci, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, all protect their personal and business portfolios by protecting the interests of the Chinese communists. Mitch McConnell’s in-laws own a shipping company, carrying goods back and forth from China. Companies like Apple are heavily invested in China’s success. They just signed a $275 billion deal with China while dropping Taiwan, a long-time ally. America was never a consideration except as a customer.

Nearly 2 million Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members are on staff at universities, the world’s biggest companies, banks and government agencies all over the world. US companies are riddled with members of the CCP. There is nothing less than a mass infiltration as we speak. Boeing, Pfizer, Qualcomm have dozens of CCP members in their employ in their Chinese facilities. Other companies such as Volkswagen, AstraZeneca, banks like HSBC, all employ CCP members. Three female employees of the US consulate in Shanghai are CCP members. Diane Feinstein had a member of her staff belonging to the CCP for over 20 years. He was her chauffer. She claims she knew nothing. I bet he heard many a good conversation. This is the worst kind of diversity.

San Francisco has always been a hotbed of espionage activity. When President Trump closed the Russian consulate in 2017, smoke could be seen billowing out of the chimney, presumably to destroy evidence of their spying.

All members of the CCP swear an oath to fight for communism throughout their lives. Do you think members of the CCP employed by the US government and US companies report sensitive information to their contacts?

China’s Belt and Road Initiative, as China sells it, is an altruistic endeavor to help developing countries build and improve their infrastructure. Through grants and low to no-interest loans. They are now in 70 countries world-wide. Looking at it through a reality prism, one can envision the CCP looking at a map of the world and deciding which countries they would want and what infrastructure they would need in order to march in and appropriate.

Modern roads, highways, airports, seaports, would all be very useful to them. I’m sure it would be much easier to invade a country like Kenya. And if they use the port they built, drive through the entire country in a matter of hours instead of days on a highway system they built, all the better. And, of course, fly in supplies to the airports they built.

I have long suspected that the Chinese and the Democrat Party banded together to defeat President Trump. Each had their reasons. For the Democrats, 2020 was a win they had to have at any cost, even insurrection. For the Chinese it was to rid themselves of an antagonist that was eating their lunch. No other president came even close.

Everyone in government and Wall Street has a financial interest in China whether they know it or not, and has a vested interest in their success while ignoring ours. President Trump, for all his bad tweets, was reversing the trend. Trump was the anti-politician, more building than scheming. For too many in high places, America First was not going to stand.

A broken government will never fix itself. It will double down every time. The enemy has long since crossed the Rubicon. What is left is determining what America will do about it. In the world race for dominance, the oligarchs are offering the refreshment to China, not the USA. If America falls, do these domestic enemies really believe they will survive…even with all their money and fleeting glory?

Kunstler: Win-Win, Lose-Lose

The world is waiting to know: will “Joe Biden” bomb Guatemala back to the stone age for sending incursions of its (very fine) people across America’s southern border? All of a sudden borders are sacred again, you know. Of course, there’s that old problem Colin Powell used to raise back in the Iraq War days of you break it, you own it. But, hey, don’t we already own Guatemala? And isn’t it already sort of broken?

Well, you can own a dog, say, a pitiful, broke-down, half-lame, scrofulous, rheumy-eyed, junkyard kind of old dog, and that doesn’t stop the dog from taking a dump on the neighbor’s property across the street. Anyway, the only thing Guatemala is dumping in Texas and Arizona is new voters, and that just means more democracy for us — a “win-win” as they say in the cabinet room! (Though, Yamiche Alcindor might still want to ask “JB” at the next presser if he would risk the US supply of bananas. We’re having enough trouble getting auto parts, fer chrissake.) Such are the quandaries of US foreign policy.

Then there’s this Shangri-La called Ukraine. Can anyone find it on the map? It’s nowheres around here. Let’s face it: Ukraine is not sending us any new voters or bananas. What good are they? You might argue: they exported the Vindman twins to America (win-win); they supported Hunter Biden’s cocaine habit for six or seven years and paid the mortgage on The Big Guy’s beach house. So, maybe we do owe them.

But then, it’s said that Russia is lurking on Ukraine’s border like a hungry bear at the edge of a sheep pasture, licking its chops, fork and knife in its fisted paws, napkin tied around its throat, visions of mutton-filled perogies dancing in its head. The whole DC foreign policy establishment says we should take a few potshots at that bear, teach it a lesson. I say, just throw Guatemala over the fence, let the bear chew on that, including a few bananas for dessert. There it is: problem solved.

Another possibility, which the “Joe Biden” admin seems to favor a little, is World War Three. We couldn’t lose that, could we? Well, at worst it would be a “lose-lose” so at least nobody else would win. Would the US be any worse off without New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and a few more population centers teeming with homeless junkies? (Who rarely show up at the polls to vote, by the way… and if you asked, could they even tell you who’s running for president?) World War Three begins to look like our silver linings playbook. London, Paris, and Berlin are not our problem, to be blunt about it. Even as you read this, “Joe Biden” is striving to explain his thoughts on these vexing matters, but he’s talking out of his ass so much it’s hard to tell whether he is setting forth actual policy or just breaking wind.

Isn’t it refreshing to not have to lede with Covid-19? It looks like “Joe Biden’s” effort to change the channel is working. Even so, there is some interesting Covid-19 news, like: the whole endless, heartbreaking, demoralizing episode is winding down. Whoa! That’s a shock! What will Western Civ do without it? In the UK, Boris Johnson put a stop to all restrictions, mask mandates, and vaxx passports, just like that (snap) on Wednesday. Then France announced it would lift most Covid-19 restrictions in February, which is a little more than a week from now, for those of you who haven’t mastered the new maff. Then, on Thursday, Austria’s parliament voted to approve mandatory vaccinations for everybody in the country — say, what? — leading the casual observer to wonder whether half of everybody in that country is maybe super pissed-off at their government, seeing how France and the UK are going the opposite way.

Let’s be honest: it’s getting laughable to seriously advocate vaxxing up a whole goshdarn population when it’s perfectly obvious now that the vaxxes don’t work and are making a lot of people sick with everything that can go wrong in a human body, plus Covid-19. Are nations such as Austria and Germany not looking plumb insane now? Can the European Union endure such wildly contradictory policy among its member states, and not make itself ridiculous? Let’s just say, the situation in Europe is in flux and events are moving fast.

Here in our exceptional nation, it is lately discovered — to the chagrin of the elite managerial classes — that The Science personified by Dr. Anthony Fauci is not medical science after all but rather political science. Ah! I see now why so much confusion has been sown over Dr. Fauci’s management of the Covid-19 pandemic. If he actually represented medical science, he might not have killed several hundred thousand people in this country by withholding and suppressing effective treatments and promoting deadly vaccines. He might not have disgraced the entire medical establishment and half-wrecked the system it works in. But, to paraphrase another eminent political scientist of yore, Josef Stalin, while one death is a tragedy, a half-million is a mere statistic. There’s science anyone can understand!

The Fed may create a US digital currency and wants your input

The central bank just released a 40-page study on the benefits and risks of a CBDC, but didn't take an official stance.[/i

The Federal Reserve released a long-awaited review of the potential for creating a central bank digital currency Thursday, after months of delays. Ahead of making a decision, the Fed has asked the public to submit answers on 22 questions posed in the report.

“The introduction of a CBDC would represent a highly significant innovation in American money,” the authors said in the report. “This paper is the first step in a public discussion between the Federal Reserve and stakeholders about CBDC.”

Many in the industry have called for the creation of a U.S. CBDC, saying it could take the place of dollar-linked stablecoins and help connect fiat and crypto transactions. China has created its own CBDC, the digital yuan or e-CNY, and some observers suggest the U.S. needs its own to stay competitive and maintain the dollar's dominant role in the world financial system.

The Fed report notes that the creation of a CBDC will seek to complement current financial systems, not replace them. Any digital currency the central bank issued would have to protect consumer privacy while supporting faster and cheaper payments. However, a CBDC would also pose risks for current monetary regulations and could have large effects on the structure of financial markets.

While the report didn't take a position on whether the Fed should create a digital currency, the prospect of a U.S. CBDC has drawn both criticism and support from government leaders.

Fed Gov. Lael Brainard has been a strong advocate for a CBDC, having said that “it just doesn’t sound like a sustainable future” without one. Minnesota Rep. Tom Emmer, however, warned against it, saying that such a currency “could also be used as a surveillance tool that Americans should never tolerate from their own government.” While Emmer has proposed a bill that would prohibit the Fed from issuing CBDCs directly to individuals, the Fed made it clear in the report that any CBDC it creates would be intermediated — in other words, managed through existing financial institutions and not issued directly to consumers.

While the Fed has previously said that creating a CBDC was top priority, the development of FedNow, an instant payments service through banks for individuals and businesses, may impact its progress. FedNow is expected to be available next year.

The report also made it clear that the Fed would not proceed with a CBDC “without clear support from the executive branch and from Congress, ideally in the form of a specific authorizing law.”

America is Very Unstable – Dr. Paul Craig Roberts

International award-winning journalist and former Assistant Treasury Secretary Dr. Paul Craig Roberts (PCR) says data shows between CV19 policies and the policies surrounding Russia that “America is very unstable.” Let’s start with the NATO talks with Russia over Ukraine that broke down in a diplomatic disaster last week. There is the real possibility of nuclear war with Russia. Dr. Roberts explains, “The West is continually antagonizing Russia (Roberts is referring primarily to Ukraine, Georgia and Kazakhstan). This will eventually lead to some kind of conflict. If it is a conventional war, the West does not have a chance—no chance whatsoever. So, what would Washington do when it’s faced with a massive defeat? It would save face by resorting to nukes. That’s the way Washington is. So, it’s very dangerous. It’s extremely dangerous to make the Russians feel threatened, and when they tell you (Washington D.C) that, you ignore it. You don’t hear, and you make them feel more threatened. . . . This is just madness, and it opens up the prospects of military confrontation. I guarantee you that the Russians are not going to allow NATO to take in Ukraine and Georgia. They simply will not, and it cannot be done. . . . We are not prepared for military confrontation with Russia and much less with Russia and China.” Last week, the Russian government publicly said it thought the Biden Administration was having a “nervous breakdown,” which was intended as a huge insult.

The other huge problem is the CV19 policies with shutdowns and coerced experimental injections. Dr. Roberts says, “The whole Covid thing is a hoax. It’s all been for nothing, and it’s unnecessary, but they are sticking with it. They are sticking with it despite the fact that it is now conclusively proven that what the vaccine does is turn your own immune system into a weapon against your own body. The vaccine causes your immune system to attack your own vital organs. That’s why you have these vaccine injuries and deaths, and it does not protect you from Covid. . . . Yet, they still want to continue it. It’s another form of insanity.”

The biggest driver of a troubled economy and spiking inflation is none other than the Covid policies. Dr. Roberts points out, “The inflation is really reflecting the lockdowns and cessation of supply. . . . All of a sudden you have got shortages everywhere. How do people get things? You bid for it. You have to outbid . . . You can see the whole Covid policy is shrinking the ability of the economy to produce. That’s the problem.”

Dr. Roberts sees a “collapse of society” because the data is showing many will get sick or die because of the dangerous injections.

Dr. Roberts also says countries are turning away from the U.S. dollar and buying gold. That is very dollar negative, and it is not going to tame inflation–just the opposite.

What does Dr. Roberts see in the political future for the Democrats and the Biden Administration? Dr. Roberts says, “The Democrats have blown it, but if they can get away with blaming the unvaccinated for all the problems . . . they may be shielded. Democrats may also be shielded if they can force Russia to take some sort of decisive action. Then everybody has to rally around the President. . . . It’s very, very unstable, and there are reasons to leave the dollar if inflation is high.”

Kunstler: No Time for Crybabies

Do you know what most of America wants? I will tell you: America wants Daddy to step up and say, “Okay, you can stop being insane now. Really, enough is enough.” Trouble is, America is short on daddies these days. That’s what happens when you throw The Patriarchy on the old garbage barge. Mr. Trump was a kind of daddy, but to many women, especially, he was the wrong kind, Bad Daddy, the worst kind of daddy, the kind who makes you clean up your room and come home before midnight. They traded him in for demented Grampa. He just wants to fondle you — and not in a good way — but family decorum requires that we don’t talk about that. In the meantime, we can do whatever we feel like.

It’s a fact that more-educated folks are most susceptible to mass delusion, and the reason will surprise you. It’s because of status-seeking. Yes, even more than money. We’re hard-wired for it. And status is liable to send money in your direction, anyway. Among the educated managerial class, going along with everybody else is crucial because careerism in a bureaucratic system, public or private, demands it. If you seek to rise in the hierarchy, or are just angling for brownie points, you must appear to subscribe to the reigning beliefs-of-the-moment, no matter how crazy, and the punishments are severe for appearing to not go along— like losing your career and livelihood, and all prospects of a comfortable life.

The main belief-of-the-moment is that battling the invisible menace called Covid-19 requires the most extreme measures, and anyone against that is an enemy, a domestic terrorist! Thus, it is most urgent to “vaccinate” every human being in the nation. Why? Because Dr. Tony Fauci, America’s doctor, says so. Why does he say so? Because the Covid-19 “vaccines” are the crowning achievement in his long vainglorious quest to bring forth a world-saving magic cure for a dread disease. And since Dr. Fauci is The Science incarnate, and The Science must be followed (because…come on… we are modern people in a modern world ruled by Science), we must follow Dr. Fauci!

But it’s obvious now, after a year on-the-scene, that the vaxxes work poorly at best to protect against infection or control the spread, and, at worst, induce terrible long-term damage to organs, blood vessels, and the immune system. The. vaxxes can kill you or gravely disable you. The statistics in the CDC’s VAERS registry show this in no uncertain terms: 1,003,992 Covid vaxx adverse event reports including 21,745 deaths linked to them through January 7 — and these figures are said to be deeply understated due to the poor design and difficulty using the VAERS website with its clunky, out-dated code that the CDC refuses to fix.

Dr. Fauci has avoided addressing these adverse reactions and the negative efficacy of the “vaccines.” He simply states that the vaxxes are “safe and effective.” That so many Americans believe him, despite all the evidence, and go along with the crusade to vaxx-up everybody, is proof that they are insane. But now that the whole story is unravelling, they are ever more determined to stick to the script. Covid-19 has been their security blanket for two years. As long as it was in the picture, raging and killing as an invisible demon, it could be the focus of all their free-floating terror.

Terror of what, you might ask? Of the meaninglessness, alienation, and debility induced by the managerial class in its own sick institutions and corporations… in short, the 21st-century America that the managers evolved in and supported — a culture of junk food, junk work, junk art, junk environments, junk government, junk economics, and, lately, junk science… a sickening panorama of systems out-of-control and entering failure mode. Confronting the disaster of its own incapacity to sustain a healthy culture and an economy with a future, the managerial class went nuts. Its insane actions now are killing people while seeking to punish those who refuse to walk sheepishly into America’s version of the gas chamber, the Anthony Fauci “vaccines.”

One way out of a trap like this is to follow your insanity into all-out Götterdämmerung, chaos and destruction. That’s the Hitler way (preceded by a period of psychotic totalitarian social control and sadistic scapegoating). I don’t recommend it. When it’s over, there’s not much left to assist the continuity of the human project. But we are led, at the moment, by a very Party of Chaos that is making all those moves. Check the boxes: social control freakery, check… punishment unto the unvaxxed, check… loony war-drumming, check….

The cries for more lockdowns and punishments grow shrill as omicron burns across the land, presenting a fair chance of putting a stop to Covid 19. We’ll know in a couple weeks where this is going. Will those tell-tale “all-cause deaths” mount in the insurance companies, suggesting that the “vaccines” seeded millions with lurking illness? Will the public turn on Dr. Fauci and run him from public health to rough justice? Will the inept “Joe Biden” regime start World War Three in Ukraine, a place of no real interest to us, or the South China Sea, just to change the channel?

You can feel the paradigms straining to shift under your feet now. For that degenerate managerial class, and its psychotically woked-up minions on the campuses and in the news-rooms, this thing would likely go the Schopenhauer way: the new paradigm is at first ridiculed, then violently opposed, then accepted as self-evident. Snap your fingers and they’ll come out of it, just like that.

The managerial class will try to pretend that they never did the things they did. A few will offer weak apologies. But the damage is done. Before long, an economic rip-tide takes the drowning out to sea. The rest of us left on dry land have a lot of work to do. It’ll be no time for crybabies.

Headed for a Digital Concentration Camp – Catherine Austin Fitts

Catherine Austin Fitts (CAF), Publisher of The Solari Report and former Assistant Secretary of Housing (Bush 41 Admin.), says the central bankers want nothing short of “a complete digital control system.” CAF explains, “We have what we have been building for the last 20 or 30 years, and it’s getting much more obvious, but it’s been covert most of the time. They basically want digital control systems through the financial system, through the health system and government systems to implement control. That control is delivered one person at a time. You have extraordinary surveillance systems that have been built steadily for decades that are basically tracking everyone. . . . That’s why the ‘vaccine passports’ and ‘central bank digital currencies’ (CBDC) are so dangerous. It’s important to understand what they are trying to do. They are trying to create complete transaction control. If they don’t want you going five miles from your home, your electric car will not work more than five miles from your home. . . . If they don’t want you to buy pizza, your credit card will not allow you to buy pizza. They are talking about putting in extraordinary digital control systems and literally turning your car and your home into a digital concentration camp.”

How do you fight back to this digital tyranny? CAF explains, “You fight back by saying No. Do not comply. What we are seeing around the world is that the places where people refuse to comply, it’s not working. The mandates are not working, and the passports are not working where people say no. You are not going to control me. You are not going to tell me where I can and cannot go. I am not going along. You have to massively not comply.”

One good way to not comply is to use good old fashion cash for every transaction you can. CAF says, “You need to hold onto your cash because once the system goes all digital, that’s when you can convert to the digital concentration camps. If the system stays cash and more and more people use cash, the perfect system is part cash and part digital because cash can’t be controlled. . . . What we are looking for is decentralization, and decentralization comes with cash and it comes with coin.”

As far as the CV19 “plandemic,” CAF says, “I don’t think depopulation is the only goal, and that is certainly what has been happening. The proof that that is happening is when the data started coming in about how bad the deaths and injuries were–they didn’t stop it or change it. They continued to double down on more and more effort on mandating when they knew the adverse events and deaths are very, very significant.”

CAF says there are many ways to fight back, and she talks about those strategies in the interview that is nearly 48 min. long.

As we examine the mess the Biden administration and the Democrats have made since the 2020 election, we are seeing a massive death rate rise among working-age people.

Every day I scour the news, looking for trends. What I am seeing more and more are reports of death and sickness among the very young and middle age. Athletes, pro and amateur, celebrities, school-age and pre-school children, being reported as dying days or weeks after the COVID shot. The words I see the most in the reporting is ‘died unexpectedly’.

The Epoch Times is reporting a nation-wide surge in deaths among people between the ages of 18 - 49, a rate increase of 40%! Nevada was the worst with an increase of 65%, only 36% attributed to COVID.

The head of an Indianapolis-based insurance company, OneAmerica, said the death rate is up a stunning 40% from pre-pandemic levels among working-age people 18 - 64. Their CEO has said, “Just to give you an idea of how bad that is, a one-in-200-year catastrophe would be a 10% increase over pre-pandemic,” he said. “So 40% is just unheard of.” Who knows more about an increase in the death rate than a life insurance company?

A 3-year-old girl dies ‘unexpectedly’ of a heart attack a day after receiving a COVID shot. We are seeing deaths of 15 and 16 year old boys and girls.

Over the holiday season, Franklin Graham developed pericarditis (inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart). He underwent heart surgery after aggressively pushing the jab. Pericarditis is not an uncommon condition among those who received the vaccine. Franklin’s niece, Rachel-Ruth, several days ago suffered two heart attacks. What are the chances that the Graham family all took the COVID shots?

Eminent physicians and scientists have warned that the COVID vaccines can exacerbate any condition the person may have, aware of or not… cancer, heart conditions, neurological, vascular, etc. Also, anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction may occur. Independent studies have shown that deaths related to the vaccine have been vastly under-reported and in many cases an outright lie perpetrated by the FDA and the CDC. To anyone paying attention, this should not be of any surprise. These doctors have warned us for well over a year.

The real heroes of this pandemic are the doctors that have risked everything for the truth

A word about Pfizer and Moderna. Pfizer has paid out billions of dollars in fines for false claims, bribing doctors, manipulating studies, and deaths due to their drugs. Twenty-five years ago Pfizer sent a team to Nigeria during a meningitis outbreak. They conducted an unblinded clinical trial involving 200 children. Half were given the standard treatment, Ceftriaxone, the other half their new drug Trovan. It was found that Pfizer purposely reduced the dosage of Ceftriaxone to favor their drug Trovan. Eleven children died, five after receiving Pfizer’s drug. Six children died after receiving the reduced dosage of the older drug. Moderna also has a history of commercializing products with technology it doesn’t own and false advertising.

For those that like stats. The number of COVID vaccine deaths as reported by the CDC through 12/31/21 is 21,382. All vaccine deaths combined these last 30 years totals 9,447. It is well known that the CDC numbers are always underreported by as much as 99%. Many doctors either don’t report a vaccine death or don’t know to report a vaccine death. The number of permanent disabilities due to the COVID vaccine is 36,758. In the UK, for the last three months, the deaths among the fully vaccinated have been higher than the unvaccinated. As of 12/5, 80% of the COVID deaths have been of the vaccinated. As a reminder, these are not just numbers, these are people! Why hasn’t this program been shut down?

The real heroes of this pandemic are the doctors that have risked everything for the truth, only caring about their patients. Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, Dr. Ryan Cole, Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Simone Gold, Dr. Shankara Chetty of South Africa, who has treated over 5000 COVID patients with no hospitalizations, to name only a few.

The mainstream press is not reporting these deaths. How can they? They have been pushing hard for everyone to get vaccinated, and aggressively criticizing those who haven’t taken the jab. To his credit, Tucker Carlson is beginning to nibble at the edges.

What amazes me is how many people were willing to take an experimental vaccine for a condition with a better than 99% chance of survival

Why would any clear-thinking person agree to an experimental, ineffective vaccine when the producers, Moderna and Pfizer, are exempt from having to take it. Why should we believe anything the government says when the Executive Branch and their staff are exempt, the Congress and staff are exempt, the Supreme Court and their staff are exempt? The CDC is exempt, as well as the Postal Service is exempt. The National Institutes of Health, and Human Services are also exempt.

What amazes me is how many people were willing to take an experimental vaccine for a condition with a better than 99% chance of survival. And a condition where inexpensive and readily available therapeutics were and still are readily available. Did anyone question the building of concentration camps in Australia for the unvaccinated? Is there anyone out there aware that New York and Washington State are considering camps for the unvaccinated? Does anyone believe anything the government or the medical establishment says anymore? We can’t give medical advice, but we can certainly present the other side of the picture. And the other side looks grim. Does anyone do their homework before making an important decision?

Is this only the beginning of a global nightmare?

Kunstler: Dog Gone

So much chatter in the news media these days about who will be “Joe Biden’s” running mate in 2024 — not that there’s anything wrong with his current sidekick — but I’ve got half a mind to throw my own hat in the ring. That’d make two of us with half a mind and a shot at the so-far elusive ideal to govern least… and therefore govern best!

Alas, I lack the connections and the ground-game of a seasoned pol such as Liz Cheney, the current favorite, who dragged her esteemed old daddy, Dick Cheney (“George W. Bush’s brain”) up to Capitol Hill this week, for to schmooze up the Progressive caucus and raise morale among the walking dead. Where Dick Cheney treads, you know war can’t be far behind. That must be what America really needs to pep her up in these days of sagging poll numbers and inflating dollars. War, the ivermectin of politics!

But shall it be a foreign war or a civil war? Isn’t that the question? From the looks of things around “Joe Biden’s” White House, where a weird concrete fortification is being hoisted up on the north lawn as I write, it looks like they’re planning for action on the home front, perhaps a full-out assault by the lurking forces of white supremacy — painted savages in horned head-dresses screaming MAGA-MAGA-MAGA as they loot Dr. Jill’s walk-in closet.

The Attorney General, Mr. Garland, has been warning us about this Satanic host of backward-facing demons. They breed like botflies in the red state hills and hollers, swarm and buzz in the school board meetings, caress their AR-15s in prostrate worship of their Trump bobbleheads, scheming to deprive BIPOCs of their votes. They’d like to tie Democracy to the back bumper of a Ford Alpha F-150, drag it over seven miles of broken Southern Comfort bottles, and feed whatever’s left to the hogs. They must be stopped!

Except… what if they fail to materialize? Maybe a foreign war would play better on social media and The View. Our arch-enemy, Vlad Putin, election-meddler supreme, is fixing to invade Ukraine, we’re told. Obviously, that would interfere with “Joe Biden’s” plan to make Ukraine America’s fifty-first state. When Sec’y of State Tony Blinken mentioned that to Sergei Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister blew mineral water through his nose all over the conference table. Would a friendly little tussle over that sad-sack country lift America’s animal spirits… like, get the economy firing on all cylinders? Roust up all those work-force dropouts who disdain fine jobs waiting for them in the Amazon warehouses and the fry-lanes of Mickey-D? Put the brakes on all this fentanyl snorting…? All this porn-watching…? Turn around America’s long sickening slide into its own Hollywood fantasy of the zombie apocalypse?

Well, I must be frank: probably not. Probably only hasten America’s journey to the political pits of hell (and Ukraine’s to its special sub-hell). What would be our strategy in this war over Ukraine? Arm Ukraine with the all the latest US gee-whiz fighting gear and let them have a go at the Russian army poised along the border of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts? That’ll work, I’m sure. Call it Operation Russian Roulette, only with a bullet in every chamber. You see, it is not a generally-accepted fact among world military professionals that Ukraine has — how you say? — a well-disciplined, experienced fighting force. I hope that does not offend.

If that doesn’t seem like a viable game-plan, do “Joe Biden,” Tony Blinken, and Lloyd Austin really suppose we would transport x-number of US troop divisions six thousand miles from Kansas to slug it out with those Russian divisions poised at the edge of their own homeland? Have a look at the world map and contemplate the logistical picture. Not so favorable for us, wouldn’t you agree? A long way to re-supply our boys, gals, and theys in uniform with fresh Kit-Kat bars.

Okay, say that dog don’t hunt, what else then? Default to our trusty old ICBMs, waiting patiently in their rusty silos lo these many decades for the chance to do their thing? That is, turn the world into an ashtray? I give you: Dr. Strangelove re-made as a documentary…. We are livin’ the dream, all right.

How’s this for an idea: just leave Ukraine alone. If Russia intends to dominate it, so what? For most of our lives Ukraine was a virtual province of Russia, so to speak, and it didn’t hurt us none. Ditto our grandparents and all the ranks of our ancestors. And now it’s a problem? Could it be possible that Ukraine is just none of our business (in the most literal way)?

Meanwhile the business of Covid-19 flares spectacularly in omicron drag — but not vary harmfully — around the world, presaging a welcome end to this contrived global emergency, and yet the member nations of the Western Civ club (including many also enlisted in NATO) drive deeper with their experiment in tyranny even as the end of Covid is in sight. Despite overwhelming proof that the mRNA vaccines don’t work, and actually induce much serious harm to people, Western Civ still strives insanely to vaxx-up every last citizen. The Supreme Court shot down “Joe Biden’s” vaxx mandate for businesses yesterday, and the “president” actually declared that companies should ignore the decision and compel employees to get vaxxed anyway.

If that is not something like peak insane, what is? At least, among the cohort in our land who are susceptible to that madness, which is actually not a majority of the people in this land. Hence, I have news for you: we are now at the turning point. Americans are rejecting blue insanity. We are fixing to drag that old blue dog to the doghouse, where it can cool out for two years before we put it down for good. And a couple more things: “Joe Biden” is done running for president, and Liz Cheney is done running for Congress, or anything else. Welcome back to reality. Let the sun shine in.

Cocaine Mitch rubs his hands together and wolfishly whispers to Dems to be careful what they wish for on that filibuster

Is there anything better than a Republican with some fight still left in him? We saw Ted Cruz redeem himself in his questioning of an FBI official on the Jan. 6 riots.

Better still, we're seeing the return of Cocaine Mitch.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is telling Democrats now talking up busting the filibuster, which Joe Biden now also is calling for, to be verrrrry careful what they wish for.

You can almost see him rubbing his hands together and putting on a wolfish grin as he makes his calls.

According to the Washington Examiner:

Senate Republicans say if Democrats vote to end the filibuster, the GOP will use the new rule to force votes on a string of Republican bills that would stand a good chance of passing in the evenly divided Senate.

In a move that would turn the Democratic plan to end the filibuster on its head, Republicans say they’ll bring up legislation that can easily garner 50 GOP votes and a few Democratic ones. This could advance Republican measures under the rule change Democrats are considering that would lower the 60-vote threshold to 51 votes. https://washex.am/3no2vOj

Some of those things on the McConnell wish list have been noodling about among Republicans for a while.

Back in April, McConnell told the Wall Street Journal:

“How would they feel about a Republican Senate operating with 51 votes majority deciding that they need to have a national right-to-work law?” asked Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) at a recent press conference, referring to legislation that would bar mandatory union fees.

Other possibilities, according to Mr. McConnell and fellow Senate Republicans: anti-abortion bills, tighter election and immigration laws, loosening of environmental regulations, concealed-carry gun reciprocity in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and defunding cities that have adopted so-called sanctuary policies to limit cooperation with immigration authorities. https://on.wsj.com/3rfVznn

Border wall? Right to work? Keystone XL? Ending abortion? Mandatory deportation for criminal illegals? Those are some of the items on the list that McConnell could easily get through with a little help from his Democrat friends (he'd only need to peel off one or two at this point) or, easier still, when the Republicans retake the Senate in 2022. McConnell says he's got a dozen of these items in mind right now. That's hardball.

If these wish-list items still somehow can't come up for a vote, they can come up for a debate, one that would force Democrats to be counted on their unpopular positions, should the 60-vote filibuster and go to a 51-vote majority as Democrats wish:

Other candidates for action include a proposal sponsored by Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) to codify the Trump administration’s revised Waters of the United States rule, which the Biden administration said in November it would scrap.

The Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers announced in November the restoration of an Obama-era rule expanding the number of waterways protected under the Clean Water Act.

Another proposal sponsored by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) would bar money appropriated under the 2020 CARES Act or the 2021 American Rescue Plan from going to public elementary and secondary schools that aren’t open for in-person learning.

A third proposal sponsored by Sens. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) would prohibit the Department of Justice from paying settlements to illegal immigrants detained at the U.S.-Mexico border.

It's all so delicious -- like the sight of Wile-e-Coyote cooking up a cartoon bomb for the Road Runner and accidentally detonating it in his own face.

McConnell, for all his malignment on various matters, knows his stuff on the Senate and knows how to use Senate power.

He's redeeming himself with this maneuver, which is so desperately needed in this runaway bus-without-brakes Biden presidency and Congress. McConnell is so skillful he knows how to make Democrats blow themselves up with their own bomb. (bolded for emphasis)

And he's not even waiting for November 2022 to feel his oats, he's getting busy now. He knows which way the winds are blowing, so he's getting busy now.

That's the good Mitch, the Cocaine Mitch (an affectionate, sarcastic nickname derived from Democrat stupidities that even Mitch has said he enjoys.) Mitch knows how to give overbearing, overweening, over-the-top radical Democrats who think they have all the power something to be afraid of.

Can't Happen Here???

It can’t happen here! How many times have I heard that one when I start to explain history to people? I have said to many of these people that “economic law is in effect everywhere in the world EXCEPT here?”

A few years ago, people thought I was crazy when I was warning about what we are seeing right now. The only thing I can say is that my timing may be off, but history has shown how this is most likely to play out.

I have done extensive research on the fall of the Soviet Union, how the hyperinflation of Weimar Germany took place and what happened to make Venezuela, once one of the most prosperous nations in the world, into a place where their currency is destroyed, and supply chains cease to exist.

Our current situation has many similarities to all of these occurrences. I will start with the Soviet Union where the media (state-owned of course) was telling everyone daily how great the economy was doing. People could look around and see that it really wasn’t true, but the lies kept coming- right up until the collapse in 1990. This is not ancient history. There were reports of empty shelves, people starving and waiting in long lines for help as crops were left to decay in the fields because nobody went out to pick them. Alcoholism and drug use surged.

Does that sound at all familiar to what is happening here? How many able-bodied people are just making the decision to sit on the couch or just work part-time and collect government benefits rather than being productive and trying to get ahead? They can keep “printing money” since we are running multi-trillion dollar deficits so we can PRETEND that all is well but the empty shelves and a misfunctioning supply chain (likely only in the early stages and may get FAR worse before getting better) are giving us a glimpse of what may be coming. We are also seeing prices rise faster than at any time in the past 40 years. I believe that we are actually near all-time highs as the government just reported 8.3% inflation year over year this morning BUT if inflation was measured the way it was measured in the 1970s it would be north of 15%. On the other side, real wages are FALLING and first-time unemployment claims are surprising the “experts” to the upside almost every week.

By the way, I DO look at the economic numbers- which most everyone else does not and the economy can only be described as in freefall.

Currently, we have our own propaganda ministry that includes basically the entire mainstream media and the government telling the same tales that the USSR was telling as their economy was being destroyed.

We may have the best technology available in the world but what does it say about us that we have (as of 1-13-2022 according to Marine Traffic Maps) 146 ships that are anchored off American shores and waiting to be unloaded? What does it say about us that we have an IRS that has still not processed all of last years refunds and have a whole ONE person for each 16,000 calls that come in?

I could go on and on about labor problems, etc. but suffice it to say that we have become a lazy, complacent nation instead of a hard-working and thrifty nation. “Money printing” will do that because it DESTROYS the value of LABOR.

Next let’s visit Venezuela where, when Hugo Chavez took over, had massive oil wealth and an economy that was the envy of South America. Over time, old Hugo kicked out the oil companies that were producing the wealth (and had all of the expertise in doing so) and he put his cronies in charge. Not long after, the oil production began to falter and revenues were drastically reduced.

The answer- “Print Money” and pretend that nothing had changed. Over time inflation went from high to hyper and the Bolivian Bolivar became very near WORTHLESS.

This is older information (about 2 years old) but a cup of coffee 10 years ago was 2 Bolivars, 5 years ago it was 100 Bolivars and recently (2 yrs ago) it was 3 MILLION Bolivars for a cup of coffee. By the way, the same report included the information that ONE OUNCE of silver could feed a family of 4 for a month. That is, of course, if there was any food to be found. At least you had a shot!

Unfortunately, here in the USA it appears that those “in charge” are doing the same thing here as the color of one’s skin, their allegiance or their gender is more important than if they can actually do the job. It is REALLY apparent with the current crop of “leaders”- I use that term VERY lightly.

It is apparent that they are “printing” us right into the same conditions that existed only 20 years ago in Venezuela. Again- this has happened hundreds of times in history and has ALWAYS ended in the destruction of the currency of those doing the “printing”.

The only thing I will bring up about Weimar Germany is that their currency crisis (hyperinflation) was brought about by having o pay WW1 reparations and they were “printing” the proceeds. As usual, the “printing” only created the ILLUSION of wealth- nothing tangible and over time the illusion was exposed and reality set in. Prices started to rise, then they started to rise in a more meaningful way and then they exploded. As an example, a loaf of bread in 1918 was ¼ of a Reichsmark. In 1922 it was 3 Reichsmarks. In 1923 the price went from 500 in January to 30 million by September 1923 and 4 BILLION by October 1923. Maybe THAT can’t happen here- at least I hope not but then again WHY could it not happen here?

This is what happens when the public loses faith in the currency.

My belief is that the US Dollar is being destroyed on purpose by those “in charge” to usher in a new system that appears to be all digital. The BIS (Bank of International Settlements-Central Bank of central banks) has made it mandatory for all central banks to have a digital currency by 2025. In addition, China is launching their digital Yuan during the Olympics next month and it has been rumored that the new Fedcoin- or whatever they may call it will likely be introduced in 2023. The ECB has already got a trademark on Eurocoin also.

I hope that some of this information may wake some people up so that they can adequately prepare for what appears to be some pretty rough times coming our way in the near future. Personally, I believe that having the essentials that you need to live are #1. Food, water, medicine, etc. Once that is satisfied then having cash, metals and items to barter with would be good ideas.

I also personally believe in holding hard assets like gold and silver which have held their value for over 5000 years. Notice I didn’t say that the fake paper price that is quoted can’t be volatile but I believe that the VALUE offered by gold, silver and the companies that mine them are off the charts right now.

There are few assets that I can consider cheap at this time. There are also VERY few assets that I don’t have to depend upon someone else making good on their promise to pay me back. By the way, what is the VALUE of a promise that CAN’T be kept???

2022 Wild Unpredictable Year – Craig Hemke

Financial writer, market analyst and precious metals expert Craig Hemke says there is only one certain thing you can say about the economy in 2022, and that is “Don’t buy the lie, the Fed does not have inflation under control.” Everything else is a huge wild card. We start with the stack of unpredictable things that Hemke sees, and he explains, “I think, economically, you can tell where we are headed, but anyone who can predict what 2022 is going to be like politically is crazy. This is going to be a wild unpredictable year. It will be volatile. If anything, this is an election year in Congress. All of the House and a third of the Senate and control of that agenda is up for grabs. You know we are going back down the path of allegedly ‘peaceful demonstrations’ that come with it. Then you’ve got inflation, supply chain disruptions and all these empty shelves. What if that gets worse? Then you have societal disruptions from hungry people. Then everybody around the world has been sold this story that the vaccines are going to keep you out of the hospital, and they are going to keep the disease mild. All that is being walked back now. What if it turns out the vax has done more harm than good? God only knows how the whole world will revolt. If it is discovered in 2022 that the vaccines globally have done more harm than good, which is entirely possibly because it is new technology being used for the first time . . . . If it turns out that way, people are going to freak out. . . . If there are millions of people marching in the streets, the governments are not going to say, oh well, we screwed up. You think they are cracking down now? What do you think the crackdowns are going to look like nine months from now?”

So, it’s safe to say the entire CV19 vax and virus story is going to be the wildest of wild cards. What Hemke can predict is the actions of the Fed in terms of fighting inflation and ending the easy money policies. Considering the trillions of dollars in exponential money creation and debt, can the Fed make a wrong move and blow up the system cutting off liquidity and raising rates? Hemke says, “Could they lose control? Yes. Will they? Well, not yet, and that is all part of the challenge in forecasting, and that is you don’t know when that rubber band will reach that breaking point. . . . We’ve got $30 trillion in debt, and they have been able to reduce the interest rate paid on that debt. The interest on that national debt is about $500 billion with an average interest rate of 1.6%. So, when people say interest rates are going to go to 3% or 4%, what’s the interest going to cost — $1.2 trillion? The whole thing spins than much out of control. . . . They cannot, cannot afford for that to happen. . . . Don’t buy the lie that the Fed has this under control and they are going to raise interest rates.”

The bottom line is Hemke says expect more inflation because the Fed cannot raise interest rates to fight it.

Coulter: The Great Epstein Cover-up, Part 2

Last week, we reviewed our ruling class’s strange lack of interest in Jeffrey Epstein’s child molestation ring, in which so many of them played a part. The media cover-up is second only to the government cover-up, with prosecutors delivering loss after loss in cases they’ve been forced to bring (by the police and the public) against the child molester.

This week, we’ll look at the government’s long record of zealously trying NOT to unravel the case.

Barry Krischer was the first prosecutor to let Epstein off for child molestation. The local police presented then-Palm Beach state attorney Krischer with bales of evidence. They had affidavits from dozens of witnesses: girls abused by the pederast, the women who recruited them, the butler who cleaned up sex toys after the “massages,” as well as records of Epstein’s molestation appointments, one delayed because of a victim’s “soccer practice.”

Pretty much everything we know today about Epstein’s sex ring was unearthed by the Palm Beach Police back in 2005 and handed to Krischer on a silver platter.

Five underage girls had given police sworn statements that Epstein had sexually abused them, backed by 17 other witnesses, but when Krischer brought the case to the grand jury, weirdly, he allowed only one of the girls to testify — and then attacked her on the stand! (Epstein’s attorneys had helpfully provided Krischer’s office with the girl’s posts on MySpace, where she talked about boys and drinking, the little harlot.)

According to an extensive review by The Palm Beach Post, most of Krischer’s 2,800-page investigative file on the case consists of dirt against the teens — and against the police — given to him by Epstein’s lawyers. (Thanks, Epstein attorneys! Do we owe you anything?)

The grand jurors, who’d been meticulously kept in the dark by Krischer, ended up voting only for a single charge of “solicitation of prostitution” against Epstein in 2006. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years’ probation. No jail time, no record as a sex offender — no criminal record whatsoever.

According to Nexis, only one newspaper, The Palm Beach Post, reported at the time — or ever — that Palm Beach prosecutor Krischer gave Epstein probation for his years of child abuse.

Epstein’s friends claimed he was the victim of a crusade by Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter, whom they called a “born-again nutcase.” Apparently, anyone who thinks prison is appropriate for the mastermind of a massive child sex ring has gotta be “born-again.” (How does he feel about teenaged girls talking about boys and drinking?) In fact, there’s no evidence that Reiter is even a Christian — other than the fact that he’s never won an award from the ADL.

(In 2018, the Anti-Defamation League gave a “Jurisprudence Award” to … Barry Krischer! The award praised him for “exemplifying the principles upon which the Anti-Defamation League was founded.” Hey, Jonathan Greenblatt, was Harvey Weinstein out of town?)

At that point, the enraged Palm Beach chief of police took his evidence to a completely separate law enforcement agency — the federal government, even though these were mostly state crimes. U.S. attorney Alex Acosta proceeded to make a deal with Epstein — with Krischer essentially operating as Epstein’s defense counsel — resulting in a plea only slightly tougher than Krischer’s pat on the head.

According to journalist Vicky Ward, Acosta later defended this sweetheart deal to the Trump transition team, explaining: “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone.”

Most recently, the U.S. attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York brought a gentle prosecution against Epstein’s pimp and fellow child molester, Ghislaine Maxwell. Federal prosecutors called a mere four girls who claimed to have been recruited and/or abused by Maxwell. They could have put dozens of her victims on the stand.

Most notably, the Southern District did not call the star witness, Virginia Giuffre, who has openly named the rich and powerful men she says these creeps forced her to have sex with, including Prince Andrew, former Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz, former New Mexico governor and presidential candidate Bill Richardson, former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, French model scout Jean-Luc Brunel, and the hedge fund billionaire Glenn Dubin, among others.

Immediately after the Southern District accidentally won five guilty verdicts against Maxwell, the prosecutors quietly revealed that, weeks earlier, they’d dismissed all charges against the prison guards who failed to check on Epstein for more than eight hours the night he allegedly committed suicide — despite an explicit directive that they check on him every 30 minutes.

The feds not only did not move Epstein to a super-maximum security prison as some observers recommended, but they also did this:

— The day before Epstein died, he was taken off suicide watch.

— Against orders, his cellmate transferred elsewhere, leaving Epstein completely alone in his cell.

— All the cameras on Epstein’s floor were mysteriously broken.

— Even the footage of his earlier suicide attempt had been mistakenly erased and the backup footage destroyed “as a result of technical errors,” according to assistant U.S. attorneys Jason Swergold and Maurene Comey.

How many times can they use the “we’re completely incompetent” defense? (Hey, does anybody know if this case implicates rich people?)

Maxwell’s brother soon announced to the press — and to anyone else who might be interested! — that his sister was no snitch. She wouldn’t rat out any of Epstein’s fellow child molesters in exchange for a lighter sentence.

Maxwell is facing up to 65 years in prison, and her brother has just admitted she can name names. Hello? SDNY? Any thoughts about applying some pressure?

Unfortunately, these are the same prosecutors who just did everything in their power to blow the case against her. My prediction of their next conversation with Maxwell: This is our last offer: 30 hours of community service — and we’re not kidding! OK, 20 hours. Damn — you’re one tough negotiator.

Most strange, the ink wasn’t dry on the guilty verdicts before one of the jurors ran to the press and announced that he’d lied on his juror questionnaire. Although he’d denied ever having been sexually molested, he had been! Not only that, but — hoo boy — did his experience with sex abuse sway the jurors during deliberations!

The defense immediately moved for a mistrial and the chatty juror moved to a villa in the south of France he’s just inherited from an unknown relative. OK, the second part isn’t true (that I know of), but are you kidding me??

Are prosecutors even investigating any contact between Maxwell’s representatives and the jurors? Will he be tried for perjury?

However this ends, once it’s over, we’ll never hear about Epstein again — unlike, say, Jan. 6, which we will never stop hearing about. If America got to vote, which story do you think they would find more interesting?

Which story is more important? Doesn’t the public have a right to know how big Epstein’s sex/blackmail club was, who among America’s ruling elite were compromised, and to what end?

Exclusive: Rep. Mo Brooks Introduces Measure Allowing Officials to End Settlement of Illegal Aliens in Their States

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) on Wednesday is introducing a measure designed to “empower” local elected officials, including governors, to refuse the federal government’s attempts to resettle illegal aliens in their communities, citing the Biden administration’s “reckless policies” that have left communities in utter shambles.

The “Local Control Act” essentially adds what the congressman’s office described as a “new section” to the Immigration and Nationality Act, which would specifically require the federal officials, including the Secretary of Homeland Security “in consultation with” the Secretary of Health and Human Services and Attorney General, to notify the governor of a state prior to settling the illegal aliens in that specific state. What is more, the measure empowers the governor to stop the settlement altogether.

The bill specifically states, “No Federal funds may be used to transport, house, or resettle any alien without lawful status under the immigration laws within a State without the approval of the Governor of the State.”

Additionally, the bill also states that illegal aliens cannot be placed in a locality within the state if the locality “has in effect a law, a policy with the effect of law, or resolution prohibiting or disapproving of the transportation, housing, or resettling of aliens in that political subdivision,” per the bill’s text.

“While the federal government is tasked with enforcing our immigration laws, it is clearly the states that suffer the fallout,” Brooks told Breitbart News.

“This Administration’s reckless policies have left local communities in shambles, and put American lives at risk. If Joe Biden sees fit to abdicate his responsibility to protect American citizens in their homes and in their communities, then the state’s must be given the right to protect themselves,” he added.

The bill itself has earned the endorsement from Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), described as “one of America’s leading grassroots border security advocacy groups.”

“As the historic crisis on the border continues to worsen, FAIR applauds Representative Mo Brooks’ leadership in assuring that the wishes of the American people are respected by the federal government,” Dan Stein, President of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), said in a statement, praising the measure for returning power back to the American people by allowing them to refuse these settlement attempts by the federal government.

“The first duty of any government is to protect its citizens against invaders. I believe in empowering governors and local elected officials to defend their states and communities since Joe Biden has proven incapable or unwilling to do his duty,” Brooks said in a statement, citing reports of the Feds transporting illegal aliens in the dead of the night in unmarked vans and covertly dumping them in communities across the country.

“Recently, unvetted Afghan evacuees were placed in Alabama without any Alabamian’s consent. Americans shouldn’t be put at risk of terrorism, illegal alien crime, job losses, wage suppression, or any other number of things by a lawless presidential administration that is dead set on weakening America,” he added.

Brooks’ measure coincides with data released by the Department of Homeland security, which shows that the Feds lost track of over 50,000 migrants released by the agency last year, as they were required to report to ICE once arriving to their desired U.S. location but failed to do so.

The federal disclosure covers the period between March and August 2021. Of more than 270,000 migrants released by DHS, roughly 104,000 were placed in the NTR system which trusts the migrant to voluntarily report to ICE at their intended U.S. destination to begin the deportation process.

Mainstream Media Has Morphed from Battling the Fed in Court in 2008 to Groveling at its Feet Today

Media LogosIt’s now day 13 since the Fed released the names of the Wall Street trading houses that borrowed $4.5 trillion cumulatively, just in the fourth quarter of 2019, from the Fed’s repo loan facility. Not one mainstream media outlet has reported those names of the Wall Street firms or the amounts borrowed – despite the fact that we have prodded them to do so, and despite the fact that some of the largest borrowers were also bailed out by the Fed during and after the financial crash of 2008.

The Fed, which is releasing the data on a rolling quarterly basis, had previously released the names of the banks and the amounts borrowed for the last 14 days of September 2019. That cumulative total came to $769.2 billion, or an average of $54.94 billion per day that the Fed was throwing at Wall Street’s trading houses. It’s clear there was a financial crisis going on in this pre-COVID era, because the Wall Street banks had requested loans for $850.575 billion in that 14-day span, or $81 billion more than the Fed was offering. And the demands for ever larger loans from the Fed continued to spike through the end of the year in that pre-COVID era.

From September 17, 2019 to the end of 2019, $5.269 trillion was cumulatively doled out by the Fed in repo loans. From the start of the Fed’s repo loan program on September 17, 2019 to its conclusion on July 2, 2020, the Fed funneled $11.23 trillion to trading houses whose names remained secret for a full two years. The trading unit of the largest bank in the United States, JPMorgan Chase, was one of the largest borrowers in 2019. The trading unit of the bank that received the largest bailout in global banking history during and after the 2008 financial crisis, Citigroup, was a major borrower. Goldman Sachs, which has a storied history of reckless and irresponsible behavior, was a major borrower. And the trading units of numerous foreign banks, such as the Japanese bank, Nomura, and German, Deutsche Bank, were large borrowers. (The share price of Deutsche Bank, a major derivatives counterparty to Wall Street banks, was in a death spiral at the time.)

In some cases, the Fed appeared to be customizing loans for specific borrowers -– something that the Dodd-Frank financial reform legislation of 2010 expressly prohibits. On December 17, 2019, the Fed made a 13-day term loan for $6.1 billion. BNP Paribas Securities received $1 billion of that; Daiwa Capital Markets got $100 million; Deutsche Bank Securities took $3 billion; and Societe Generale took the balance of $2 billion. That’s only four firms while the legal mandate of Dodd-Frank is that the Fed can only lend to “broad-based” programs. On the same date of December 17, 2019, the Fed also made an overnight loan of $52.65 billion. Deutsche Bank took three lots of that loan totaling $6.5 billion, bringing its total borrowing on that date to $9.5 billion.

To understand how truly unprecedented mainstream media’s news blackout is, a crucial piece of media history is in order.

GOP Bill Would Allow President to Ban Foreign Land Purchases in U.S. for 5 Years

A bill being co-led by Reps. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and Mary Miller (R-IL) would place a five-year moratorium on foreign land purchases to protect “American sovereignty” from being “eroded.”

Breitbart News exclusively obtained the bill’s text before its official introduction on Wednesday. The legislation, named the “National Security Moratorium on Foreign Purchases of U.S. Land” would give the president power to prohibit the purchase of public or private real estate in the U.S. “by any foreign person” for the five-year period after the enactment of the law.

The bill defines a “foreign person” as “any foreign national, foreign government, or foreign entity; or any entity over which control is exercised or exercisable by a foreign national, foreign government, or foreign entity.” The ban would also extend to any corporation, partnership, or other association created under the laws of a foreign country.

Subsequently, the Comptroller General of the U.S. would be required to submit a report to Congress six months after the enactment of the bill detailing the history of foreign public and private real estate purchases located in the U.S. The Comptroller General would also be required to make recommendations as to how “to make it easier for United States citizens and harder for foreign persons to purchase real estate located in the United States, including farm land,” and to provide a percentage of real estate located in the U.S. that is owned by foreign persons.

The bill lists several concerning findings as reasons for the creation of the legislation, including several statistics on how foreign ownership is increasing housing costs for American citizens.

According to the text, foreign investors now account for almost one-third of institutional investments in single-family rental homes in the U.S. Breitbart News previously reported how global investors are “gobbling up” middle-class suburban homes, “enriching wealthy investors and turning would-be homeowners into lifetime, no-equity renters.”

The legislation states that increased foreign investment in urban areas has led to a rise in gentrification.

This is “pushing many long-time residents out of their homes, including some of our most vulnerable and poor communities,” according to the bill. Additionally, “roughly 47 percent of rural renters pay a third or more of their income in rent each month. The Federal government has done nothing to help rural Americans deal with the rising costs in housing.”

The bill also calls for the EB-5 visa system, which allows foreign nationals to obtain green cards if they invest in specific business ventures, to be made “more stringent.”

The proposed moratorium hammers the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and notes that Chinese Nationals have reportedly led foreign investments in U.S. homes “for the past seven years.”

“The Chinese Communist Party is attempting to buy land in the United States, with an emphasis on farmland to gain strategic leverage over the United States,” the bill continues. “Foreign companies and individuals have purchased 1.7 million acres of agricultural land in Texas over the past decade, which is more than in any other State. The purchases are worth approximately $3.3 billion.”

A particularly noteworthy example is Chinese billionaire and CCP member Sun Guangxin, who planned to build a wind farm on the 140,000 acres he purchased on the border of Mexico near Laughlin Air Force Base. The operation would have likely tapped into the state’s electricity grid, and Texas lawmakers blocked the project over hacking fears.

The legislation is similar — though much broader — to another bill that Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) introduced in June 2021. The bill, named “Securing America’s Land from Foreign Interference Act,” would give the president power to prohibit Chinese Communist Party members from purchasing public or private real estate in the U.S.

Rethinking Citizenship—Is Born In The U.S.A. Enough?

There are two main paths to acquiring citizenship in the United States and a few minor ones. The first is to be born here. The others are via legal immigration, birth abroad to a U.S. citizen, and certain adoptions.

Then there’s birthright citizenship, which is recognized in only 25 countries, 13% of the nations on earth, and all but three of them are in the Americas. In recent years, France, New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland have abolished birthright citizenship.

The US-born children of foreign diplomatic officers are not eligible to be citizens. Citizenship is currently granted, however, to all other children born here to foreigners, about 10% of the close to 4 million births here in 2019.

About a quarter of these are the children of Chinese and other-nationality women engaged in “birth tourism.” They constitute a growing group of American citizens with no connections to the United States, its people, culture, or dynamism, other than their return ticket to their home country after having been born here and a U.S. passport. The other three-quarters are born to illegal aliens, more than likely to parents living in fear while striving to stay under the DHS radar—not a particularly healthy relationship with their country of residence.

The history of citizenship law is interesting and full of twists and turns. Andrew R. Arthur, Resident Fellow in Law and Policy at the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) and a former Immigration Judge, lays it all out in his article Birthright Citizenship: An Overview ( https://bit.ly/3FjIDlg ). CIS has published a number of pieces with varying viewpoints on this topic over the years that can be found here ( https://bit.ly/3qgYJbl ).

The current practice needs to be changed, I believe, especially considering the millions now pouring across our southern border. The most reasonable process would be to pass a law holding that a child born in the United States to non-citizen parents is accorded the immigration status of those parents.

Thus, a child born to foreign university students, who hold current and valid legal admissions to study in the United States, would be accorded the temporary status of a child of a student (nonimmigrant visa classification F-2). This is the status the child would have had if it was born in the parents’ home country, or in any of nearly 170 other countries, before their arrival here or while home during a school break. The same should hold for every other child born here to an alien in temporary status and good standing—workers, researchers, tourists, business executives, athletes, and all the rest.

A child born in the United States to lawfully admitted permanent residents (LPRs, also called green card holders) should be born a permanent resident. The child can be naturalized at the same time as its parents or upon becoming eligible to apply on his or her own.

By definition in law, a refugee is a person who has been persecuted or has a well-founded fear of persecution on specific grounds in his or her home country, the grounds of which are of interest to the United States. Being poor, or wanting a different or better life elsewhere, classifies one as an economic migrant, not a refugee.

When I worked on refugee issues long ago, countries generally adhered to the principle of country of first asylum. That is, once a person was free from the country that persecuted him, he was deemed to have found refuge and would be expected to seek a home there.

Some countries bordering the sources of persecuted people, however, were too poor or otherwise unable to take in many refugees so the international community would process them in the country of first asylum for placement elsewhere. Those taken in by the United States entered with the status of refugee.

An asylee is someone who applies for and is granted refugee status from within the United States. Typically, under the principle of country of first asylum, this would be someone who washes up on our shores like Cubans or Haitians, or who manages to get on a plane in his home country that disembarks in the United States. Historically, it did not include anyone presenting themselves at a land or other border who had passed through other countries to get here.

Those granted refugee or asylee status have the option to qualify for and obtain permanent residence and eventually citizenship. Their children born here should be accorded conditional permanent resident status. This conditional status could then be converted to LPR status when the parents obtain LPR status or upon application on their own when 21 or older.

Illegals

Those who enter the United States without permission and those who overstay their temporary visas are illegal aliens; just being here out of status is a crime. Children born to them should have no legal immigration status. Children belong to their parents, not to the state. They belong with their parents. If parents are removed from the U.S., then their children should go with them.

These proposed changes to current practice would have a salutary effect on the country. We would not see our population growing due to those fraudulently applying for visas to do one thing when they are actually coming to get a foothold in the country through giving birth to an anchor baby. Fraud is not a nice way to start any relationship.

The current wait is a minimum of 21 years, the age at which an American citizen can petition for his or her parents to receive immigrant visas. Despite this, hundreds of thousands of children are born in this country to illegals every year. Mr. Arthur’s article details the cost of these births to the U.S. taxpayer. Breaking the anchor chain is a worthy goal and might well deter a percentage of the current tsunami of illegals at our borders.

Republicans in Congress need to get busy and introduce new legislation designed to clarify and limit nationality to those who may rightfully claim it. Though such a bill wouldn’t go anywhere this session, it would be ready to be reintroduced and passed as soon as the 118th Congress is installed. Then it can be passed again over a Presidential veto and become law. Note my optimism for a sweeping change in 2022. Let’s Go Brandon!

We are at a strange pass in The Saga of Covid. It seems the spikey virus wants to leave center stage… is weary of all the attention… wants to fade into the eternal parade of microorganisms that cozily coexist within the human life-stream — like Tony Fauci’s HIV, a fellow traveler in the old-time throng of human viruses, now semi-retired, and yet still every bit as mysterious in the actual mechanism of AIDS as it was when Dr. Fauci pinned his NIAID distinguished service medal on its elusive bosom, so to speak (but you’d have to read Bobby Kennedy’s book on Fauci to get the drift of that).

Omicron is sweeping the country, as love once did in George Gershwin’s day. (We are a different country now, as anyone tuned into the Turner Classics Movie channel can discover.) Omicron: the 36-hour head cold that Covid-19 has been demoted to. Omicron: a mere wise-cracking gecko compared to the roaring dragon that was Covid-19 in the winter of 2020. Omicron: kind of an embarrassment to “vaccine” tyrants who still seek to jab every arm on earth, and at ever-shortening intervals — like a med school version of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, only with syringes running amok instead of brooms.

The Party-of-Chaos (the one headed by the ectoplasmic “Joe Biden”) does not want to let go of Covid-19, its Swiss army knife of destruction. With Covid-19, you can push people around and mess with their lives every which way, shut down their businesses, lock them in their homes, screw them out of their livelihoods, delete their reputations, board-up their social venues, cancel their careers, revoke their licenses, drag them into court, fine them into penury, cram them into prison camps, and much more.

If Covid-19 actually does make that move to exit the scene, the Party-of-Chaos will have to find a new focus for its anxiety-driven lunacy. And if the front page of The New York Times is the party’s id, a signifier of intent, then the focus will shift to fomenting war with Russia. Notice today’s lead headline, top left above the fold (as we used to say when the darn thing was printed on paper).



“…in a bid to avert war in Ukraine…” the headline declares. Dunno about you, but to me that suggests the USA sees war as a possibility, something we’ve already gamed into our plans, like it would be something we could… handle. Forgive the rather glum reality-test, but war with Russia over Ukraine is for sure something that the USA probably can’t handle. The most likely outcome would be a king-hell embarrassment on the battlefield, not just because we would be fighting on Russia’s door-sill where sheer logistics favor our adversary (with ready re-supply and all), but because our pussified military — with gal bomber pilots in pregnancy flight-suits and other novelties of “diversity & inclusion” — will result in the most ignominious ass-kicking in our history… following a 50-year string of prior embarrassments. The second most likely outcome of this face-off with Russia would be that old familiar nuclear World War Three, with everything from Bangor to Pacific Heights turned into one big smoldering ashtray.

Underlying this lunacy is The USA’s perverse wish to enlist Ukraine in NATO — Ukraine, that mighty economic powerhouse (not). What Ukraine is… is a super-sized version of Detroit, a hollowed-out shell of place whose mojo left on the 9:10 train to Palookaville decades ago, and has been on international life-support since the DC Deep State ran its 2014 “color revolution” in the Maidan Square. The Russians object to American huggermugger in Ukraine because following the implosion of the Soviet Union, we promised the Russians no expansion of NATO in the direction of their border. Yes, we did. We said that.

Well, sure, you may be thinking, countries make all kinds of insincere cockamamie agreements all the time, in the darkness of bad faith, and so what? This is geopolitical hardball. Grow up! We want Ukraine on our side now and Russia can just go pound sand…. Okay, forgive me… that may be what Secretary of State Tony Blinken and his genius deputies in Foggy Bottom are thinking… not you. But is it really a good idea? Ukraine, when not actually a part of greater Russia, has been in its acknowledged sphere-of-influence since before George Washington even thought about chopping down any cherry trees. Russia, which has been invaded and torched by European invaders twice in modern history (Napoleon, 1812; Hitler, 1941), does not want NATO lodging missiles, troops, and Gawd-knows-what-all else right on its border.

And, by the way, Does the USA need another faraway failed state to support? We can’t even take care of the junkies, psychotics, and misbegotten lining the sidewalks of a dozen American cities, and now we propose to adopt the poorest country in that remote corner of the world? While beating down our own once-productive people, inflating away our savings, taking away our natural liberties to work, move about in a free society, and the right to decide what pharmaceuticals we can decline to put in our bodies?

Which brings us back to the virus. In The Saga of Covid there is a monster under the bed. The ballyhooed and mandated vaxxes apparently have the ability to kill and maim people who have taken them long after Covid-19 exits stage-left. We don’t really know how this works out, but we have plenty of clues: kids dropping dead of heart attacks, pro athletes, ditto, the VAERS numbers reporting over 21,000 vaccine-implicated deaths (out of a grossly under-reported actual figure) plus over a million adverse reaction reports (ditto under-reported). The time may not be far off when we make the ghastly discovery that the “vaccines” actually killed more Americans than the virus did.

Meanwhile, a report out of Indianapolis-based the OneAmerica Life Insurance company, a $100-billion outfit, announced last week that all-causes deaths in working age Americans between 18 and 64 were up 40 percent in the third quarter of 2021 and keeping the same pace in the fourth quarter. The number was described as “huge, huge… greater than a three-sigma event… unheard of,” according to company CEO Scott Davison, who added that even those figures are probably under-reported. What’s killing these people? Could it be Dr. Fauci’s prescription for vaxxing up everyone in the land? I guess, sooner or later, we’re going to find out.

Fiscal and Monetary Cliffs Have Arrived

According to Doug Ramsey of the Leuthold Group, 334 companies trading on the New York Stock Exchange recently hit a 52-week low, more than double the amount that marked new one-year highs. That’s happened only three other times in history — all of them occurring in December 1999.

How did we get back to the precipice of the year 2000, where tech stocks plunged 80% and the S&P 500 lost 50% of its value over the ensuing two years? Well, start off with the fact that the amount of new money created by our central bank in the past 14 years is $8 trillion. That, by the way, is an increase in base money supply only and does not include all of the new money created by our debt-based monetary system. So, from 1913 to 2008, the Fed created $800 billion. And, it took from 2008 until today—just 14 years–for it to have created $8.8 trillion in base money supply. Is there really any wonder why inflation has now become a salient issue, especially for the middle and lower classes, and why the stock market is now set up for a meltdown similar to the NASDAQ collapse of two decades ago?

Some might claim that the bubble in the stock market was much different in 2000 than it is today. They are correct. The overvaluation 22 years ago pales in comparison to today. With its record high P/S ratio of 3.5, as opposed to just 1.8 back in 2000. And the mind-numbing record high 210% TMC/GDP ratio, which is an incredible 68 percentage points ahead of where it ascended to 22 years ago.

Ok, so the stock market is much more expensive today than at any other time in history, but what will the catalyst be to set it tumbling off the cliff? Last week I talked about the monetary cliff coming in the next two months. To review: The Fed will wind down its record-breaking $120 billion per month counterfeiting scheme to zero dollars in that timeframe. This Q.E. involved the process of handing newly created money to banks, consumers, and businesses to boost consumption. But by ending this flow of new money, the Fed will also end its tacit support for the municipal bond market, primary dealers, money market mutual funds, REPO market, International SWAP lines, ETF market, primary and secondary corporate debt markets, commercial paper market, and support for student, auto and credit card loans. All of which were directly supported by Jerome Powell’s with the Fed’s latest Q.E. program.

But it doesn’t end there. Mr. Powell cannot be content with just ending Q.E., not with CPI running at 6.8%! Therefore, very soon after Q.E. is terminated, interest rates are heading higher, and the balance sheet of the Fed must start shrinking. However, an occasional 25-bps rate hike here or there won’t cut it. He has to hike rates by 680-bps just to get to a zero percent real Fed Funds Rate. Now, of course, Powell doesn’t intend to hike monetary policy that much because he is fully aware it would collapse the whole artificial market construct well before he gets anywhere close to that level. But the point here is that the FOMC has lost the luxury of being able to delay and dither as it has in the past because inflation is running at a 40-year high. Hence, the Fed will need to hike rates rather aggressively until inflation, the economy, or asset prices come crashing down. But since all three are so closely linked together, they will likely all cascade simultaneously.

And, now this week, I want to shed some new light on the concurrent fiscal cliff and shoot a hole through Wall Street’s excess savings B.S. As most of you are already aware, I’ve been pretty clear about the negative consumption effects that will result from the ending of $6 trillion in government handouts over the previous two years. This massive and unprecedented largess caused the savings rate in the U.S. to jump from 7.8% in January 2020 to 33.8% by April of the same year. However, that savings rate has now collapsed back down to 6.9%—below its pre-pandemic level. But what about the stash of savings consumers are sitting on that is supposed to carry GDP ever-higher this year?

Well, it appears that the rainy day fund is dwindling quickly. According to the N.Y. Times and Moody’s Analytics, the excess savings among many working- and middle-class households could be exhausted as soon as early 2022. This would not only reduce their financial cushions but also potentially affect the economy since consumer spending has risen to become nearly 70% of GDP.

We have already seen multiple pandemic-era federal aid programs expire last September, including the massive federal supplement to unemployment benefits. Now, with the Expanded Child Income tax credit having expired, which gave up to $300 per child under 6, and up to $250 per child ages 7 to 17 over the period from July to December, the fiscal challenges have become salient for many Americans.

But what about that pile of savings? Estimates are that it now amounts to around $2.0 trillion (8.5% of GDP). It’s mostly in the hands of the very rich, who are savers and have a much lower marginal propensity to consume than those in the middle and lower classes. According to a study from Oxford Economics, 80% of that savings is in the hands of the top 20% of earners, and 42% went to the top 1%. Again, this is important because it is the middle and lower classes that are responsible for the majority of consumption. So, how is this economically-crucial cohort doing? Well, in addition to getting hurt by inflation and falling real wages, they are running out of their stimulus hoard quickly. According to a recent study done by JP Morgan Chase, households making $68,896 per year or less only have an extra $517 in their checking accounts on average compared with their pre-pandemic level. As unimpressive as that sounds, add in the fact that people don’t eat into their savings with the same zeal that they spend a fresh government handout, and you can see that so-called “mountain of savings” Wall Street loves to tout isn’t much more than a molehill.

When you factor in the massive fiscal and monetary cliffs together with the most overvalued stock market in history, you have the recipe for potential unprecedented stock market chaos, which should be front-end loaded in ‘22. If your retirement savings is with a deep state of Wall Street firm, you hold some mix of stocks and bonds that is set on autopilot. Their fate should be the same as the Hindenburg and Titanic.

Huge Number of Vax Deaths & It’s Getting Worse – Dr. Pierre Kory

World renowned CV19 critical care and pulmonary expert Dr. Pierre Kory says the data is clear the CV19 injections are “not safe, not effective” and shows they are causing a huge number of deaths. It’s going to get much worse if we don’t stop the shots. Dr. Kory warns, “They already broke death records with these vaccines almost a year ago. Now, you are starting to see it in actuarial data with life insurance companies. The life insurance companies have been paying out claims like they never have before, and they are noticing the deaths cannot be explained by Covid. If you look at the actual morbidity and mortality from the CDC . . . 2019, 2020 and 2021 in the ages of 18 to 64 . . . you’ll see in America, starting in quarter two of the year 2021 (when the vaccines started), the mortalities started to rise, and it rose from 120% above normal to 140% above normal, and it’s far exceeded the death rates in 2020. The difference in 2020 and 2021, we had covid in both years. In 2021, we had the vaccines. They know the amount of deaths they are reporting cannot be explained by Covid. . . . There is something else driving a huge and extremely terrifying mortality signal in the U.S. population. To think that it is anything but the vaccines, if we get this wrong and if you keep saying they are safe, that line which is already in a significant and steep incline will continue the more we boost and the more we vaccinate. . . . This has to stop. We have to stop, people are dying.”

Meanwhile, the captured regulatory agencies like the CDC and FDA are trashing and cutting off proven scientific cures for Covid such as Ivermectin. Dr. Kory says Ivermectin has been proven effective in defeating Covid infections, and he says, “It is “one of the safest drugs ever brought to market.” Dr. Kory also says the so-called experimental vaccines “are not safe and not effective.” So, why do government agencies push them anyway? Dr. Kory says, “I have had a front row seat to see this.” . . . And he goes on to say government agencies are suffering from “regulatory capture” by big Pharma. Meaning, the FDA and CDC push ineffective and dangerous vaccines so Big Pharma can make money off them, while disregarding cheaper, safer and more effective drugs like Ivermectin. Dr Kory gives a real-world example during the pandemic and explains, “Prescriptions in this country (for Ivermectin) in August were hitting 90,000 per week. So many doctors were using it for Covid that it spooked the pharmaceutical companies. . . . In response to the massive uptake in the use of Ivermectin by physicians with prescriptions and pharmacists filling them, the CDC went on the attack. They sent a bulletin to every state department of health which was full of propaganda and misinformation screaming the FDA has not approved Ivermectin (for treating Covid) and it’s not a proven drug, and it’s dangerous and there are overdoses and all of these things that were false. It went to all state departments of health. But guess what happened next? The medical boards and the pharmacy boards started sending that to every licensed physician and pharmacist in the land. The average physician and pharmacist, I am sorry to say this, is not well read. They are not keeping up with data. They are overwhelmed and they are easily influenced. That’s why in this country you have a war between the physicians that know that Ivermectin is effective . . . and are at war with the pharmacies. A huge proportion of pharmacists will refuse to fill a decades-old safe drug for Covid because they have been threatened and manipulated by their boards. They are afraid to lose their licenses. It all smoke. It’s all B.S. because you cannot lose your license for use of a safe drug. . . . We need our doctors to do doctoring, and we need our pharmacists to do pharmacy and stop being influenced by propaganda by pharmaceutical companies who don’t want you to use this drug. We have to stand up, and we have to resist on behalf of our patients. We are finding that with compounding pharmacies and small pharmacies we can still get access (to Ivermectin), but it is a battle and you do have to navigate.”

Former Pfizer VP Dr. Michael Yeadon said this week, “Max vaccination is leading to mass death.” Dr. Kory agrees and explains, “It’s not only data from a life insurance company that came out this week that is based on CDC data that can’t be explained by Covid alone, there are huge increases of dying in this country this year. . . . They have done huge analysis of the European mortality data as well as the U.S. mortality data and they controlled for vaccination status. They found that for every age range that they looked at, the all-cause mortality of the vaccinated were increased over the unvaccinated. All-cause mortality and that means that you are more likely to die of something if you are vaccinated. . . . All-cause mortality are coming out of actual databases by credible scientists. You have life insurance companies showing the data, and you have our own federal government showing unexplained large rises in dying. . . . Don’t you think a good scientific question and a good hypothesis to test would be ‘Could these be the vaccines?’ The answer is ‘the vaccines,’ and I cannot find a better fit to answering that hypothesis than that, it’s this mass explosion of this vaccination policy with single, double and booster shots. It’s going like wildfire through the population. If the mortality of the vaccinated is higher than the unvaccinated, you have the data that you can safely and confidently conclude the vaccines are associated with and causing death.”

In closing, Dr. Kory says, “What has happened in the last month or so is the data for adverse reactions and effects are no longer hidden and suppressed. They are coming out on servers . . . and actuarial tables.”

Ray DiLorenzo: Dems Forcing Change on America--And It's All Bad

Under the guise of ‘protecting our democracy’, Democrats are intentionally destroying that democracy, that self-government ‘experiment’ our founders fought and died to create. From election fraud to pandemic and vaccine tyranny, to the contortion of voting rights, to the disintegration of our great cities, immigration laws and beloved military, they no longer are willing to compete in the contest of ideas. We even have political prisoners, non-violent Trump supporters, à la Communist China. They languish in prison without bail, without trial. It’s their way of attempting to murder MAGA.

The Left forces radical change upon America without consensus, without approval. They are a well-oiled demonic machine.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) which has never lived up to their name, has become more fascinated with emulating Communist China and its absolute power than preserving their own country with its political give and take and individual sovereignty. With help from the complicit media, Big Tech, multi-nationals, and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Democrats are more than willing to force their will on a public still not completely cognizant of their schemes.

The public’s hesitance to believe our plight is understandable. Since the Dems’ actions these last several years have been so foreign, so intentionally destructive of our country’s economy and ideals, it has become hard to fathom. I still have to occasionally remind myself of our realities. Sometimes you have to fall into a hole to know a hole is there.

When it comes to getting someone’s attention in American politics, the Chinese have learned it only takes cash. Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, was offered a half-billion dollar ‘investment’ into his family’s real estate firm. Kushner recognized it for what it was and showed the CCP operative the door. On the other side of the political fence, Hunter Biden was offered a $1.5 billion ‘investment’ and, of course, accepted the deal. He made at least 5 trips to China to earn the money. Hunter’s one annoyance of the deal was that, in his laptop, he complained that ‘pop’ insisted on getting half of the money. When you deal with these kind of characters and these numbers, if you accept the deal and don’t deliver the product, you end up down the Yangtze River without a ping pong paddle. The Biden’s are now so deeply dug in to their corruption, our own Executive Branch has become a major national security threat. The only reason Hunter is actually selling his boorish paintings is because the buyers know they will get their money’s worth.

This effort to federalize national elections will be the death knell of our republic

The Democrats are pulling out every rabbit in their collective hats to win every election now and in the future. They know they are in trouble. If left up to the voters, they will lose big in November. It’s a strange thing to say, “If left up to the voters,” but that is where we are. Comes the ‘For the People Act’ or the ‘Freedom to Vote Act’, names typical of socialist schemes…the ‘People’s Bill’, the ‘Peoples Park’. Democrats think that their voters will accept or reject a bill just based on its name…For The People Act?...that’s nice, or Freedom to Vote Act?...all for it.

This effort to federalize national elections (incur more centralization), will be the death knell of our republic. States will no longer have the final say in their election process. Every state will be required to provide 15 days early voting and the expulsion of election observers. It will also require voting by mail, online voting, same-day registration, and restore the vote to felons. It will substantially weaken state’s voter ID laws, mandate drop-off boxes, and ballot harvesting…all a corrupt political party needs to take the vote away from the people. All while 2 million illegal immigrants are flown shrewdly to all parts of the country in the middle of the night, waiting to register to vote.

Democrats deduce minorities as being stupid

It’s amazing to me that the DNC manages to navigate these game plans while misconstruing this farce as being humanitarian. Audacity doesn’t come close to describing their antics. Interestingly, in New York State, the voters just turned down same-day registration and no-excuse absentee voting. Even liberal New York is becoming concerned about the integrity of their elections.

All of this political maneuvering, Democrats say, will protect access to the polls for minorities because, you see, Democrats deduce minorities as being stupid. The DNC is in a bind to keep the pandemic and Trump hate going amid a restless and impatient public, weary of political shenanigans, excuses and inconsistencies.

Democrats are attempting to force changes to our government unrecognizable to any of even moderate awareness. Many Republicans stand to the side in a stupor, void of response, not knowing whether to protect their country or themselves. Who knew the modern Democrat Party would turn out to be a Trojan Horse?

Slowly we are seeing the coming together of truth and nightmare. Make no mistake, we are at war! It may be a hybrid war, but the stakes are as high as any war we have ever fought in our history.

French rebels massively destroy 5G networks

Rebels in France have declared war on the infrastructure of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

An ever-expanding resistance movement has been sabotaging the widely-hated 5G network.

Says a three-part report on the Reporterre website: “Relay antennae are being torched, fibre-optic cables cut, pylons unbolted. During the night, people burn construction machinery, attack masts with disc cutters or destroy electrical equipment with sledgehammers”.

Vehicles belonging to telecommunications businesses have also been set on fire in at least 140 attacks since the start of the Covid repression, with the cost to the industry running into tens of millions of euros.

Says the report:

“This is a movement which is advancing underground, out of the spotlight, a deep revolt spreading across France”.

Pascaline, a resistance fighter interviewed by Reporterre, says she has been forced into action by a sense of urgency: “We are living in a crossroads period. If we do nothing now, this industry will have permanently taken hold”.

Pascaline says her fellow saboteurs have a wide range of backgrounds, with Gilets Jaunes and anarchists fighting alongside Christians who are equally opposed to the fascistic New Normal grid being built with 5G.

With protests against the Great Reset ignored, smeared and repressed by the French state, dissidents have been forced to express themselves more directly.

Texts have been circulating calling for the creation of a new movement of “concrete, and not just symbolic, resistance”.

Resistance fighter Léon told Reporterre: “We have been pushed towards sabotage by very practical reasons. Since the Gilets Jaunes, the state has tightened the screws and it is harder and harder to push back against power on the streets”.

Given the Covid restrictions, it was also impossible to build a mass mobilisation against 5G, he said, even though the majority of the population are opposed.

As the report notes, the sabotage movement amounts to “a refusal to live in a hyperconnected society” and “full-on resistance to the digitalisation of the world”.

Another saboteur, Margot, says that a web-like prison of cables and masts is being constructed.

“We are told about all the joys of a digital society which in reality only worsens exploitation, surveillance and environmental disaster”.

The telecommunications business is, of course, alarmed by the biggest wave of sabotage in France since the massive struggle against GM crops 20 years ago.

Orange boss Stéphane Richard has even spoken of the need to avoid “an Afghanistan of mobile phone networks, where we will have to fight mast by mast, community by community, to try and install 5G”.

As the saboteurs point out, masts are the nerve centres for the economic flow of the new technocapitalism. Rebel websites talk variously of “umbilical cords” and “Achilles’ heels”.

The revolution is never televised and the mainstream media have been largely avoiding any mention of what is happening, for fear that it will spread even further.

When the saboteurs’ existence is recognised, they are depicted as cranks and “conspiracy theorists”.

Kunstler: When That Ol’ Mojo Stops Workin’

What you’re actually seeing in the rhetorical hoo-ha over the January Sixth capitol riot is the main cattle-prod driving mob madness — fear of Covid-19 — losing its power to terrorize the public. The Party-of-Chaos put on a grand opera of lamentation Thursday to celebrate its unity in victim-hood — we wuz so traumatized by the riot! — but in the background, they can see their dearer dream of total vaccination — and total control of the population — fade in the winter mists.

This is the crisis of a managerial class that has lost its ability to manage anything, including all of us. Thus, the hysteria in the blue precincts of America, where they are concentrated. And, as I’ve averred before, the madness probably has its roots in the slow-motion train wreck of our techno-industrial economy. The managerial class can surely sense it and see it coming, but they don’t have a clue what to do about it. So, in desperate need of some signifying ritual, they’re left performing a grand-scale Chinese fire drill like drunken sophomores of yore — a flurry of pointless, attention-seeking activity.

You see, this total vaccination fantasy is meant to compensate for that inability to govern in a time of epic turbulence. It provides an illusion of control. But the obvious insanity of it stands out in the demonstrable facts that the vaccinations don’t work, and that they are racking up an impressive record of harming people. These two facts must be ignored by the vax-happy Blue Team, even as the immunizing and pretty harmless Omicron variant spreads speedily across the land conferring superior natural immunity on those who survive it — which is, functionally, everyone.

The virus looks like it’s on that ol’ exit ramp, but the disintegrating economy will still be with us, and no amount of political degeneracy disguised as virtue will stop it. We still have to manage our lives individually and collectively going through it. It’s going to be a tough slog. The federal government in its current iteration is looking like more of an impediment than a help to any of us. Its current hysterical flounderings send a clear message: You can’t depend on us to do anything right. Instead, select a favorable place to plant your flag, and figure out what you can do locally to rebuild some means of productive activity, fortify basic institutions of law, public safety, and money, and restore credible authority.

You will have to be nimble and resourceful. The Covid lockdowns of the past two years have destroyed many small businesses, but think of that as the tide going out before the blowback of a tsunami that will sweep away the large businesses next. The WalMarts, the automobile industry, the airlines, trucking, Amazon.com, major league sports, the fast-food empires, the oil industry, the mega-banks — all these systems have gone into speed-wobble and most of them will crash hard.

It’s an issue of scale. The broken giants will have to be replaced by lower-scaled systems for producing stuff, moving it, and selling it. That includes food, especially, by the way. How are you going to be part of that where you live? What role can you imagine yourself in? What are you good at? What do you dream of being good at? Can you assemble a social network for yourself? Do you have any ability to look after the public interest? Can you speak coherently? Do you mean what you say? Are you grounded morally in right-and-wrong? Can others depend on you to keep your word? These are the questions that will matter going forward, not whether you were vaccinated, or voted for Mr. Trump, or know the lyrics to God Bless America.

It looks like the disorders of economy and community are heading to center stage as the Covid-19 melodrama closes down. Since human nature is perverse, the current mass formation psychosis may transfer its energy onto new hobgoblins. But the mass of Americans — putting aside blue and red insignia for a moment — might simply be tired of lunacy. They may even begin to show some impatience with those who generate it, for instance the cable TV news channels. Some of the most practiced conveyers of lunacy are heading out the door in the months ahead. Joy Reid of MSNBC is reportedly on her way off-camera (not by choice), and a while back the redoubtably dishonest Rachel Maddow announced her exit for April of this year, probably in anticipation of all her beloved narratives falling apart.

Lunacy is exhausting. Soon enough, even the crazed governments of Euroland and Australia will suddenly drop their lockdowns and vaccination tyrannies as reality presses on the bubbles they occupy. In the face of the Omicron fade-out, they’ll turn 180-degrees and try to pretend that the episode of madness never happened. I doubt they will get away with it. Many politicians in these lands will be bum-rushed from office at the first opportunity.

Even our earnestly malicious Dr. Fauci is back-pedaling furiously, perhaps hearing the bloodhounds of justice yapping out in the gloaming. This week, he finally admitted that half the hospital cases of Covid were actually some other illnesses with the label “Covid” slapped on — in effect, to bribe corrupt hospital managers with big wads of federal subsidy money for using the killer drug remdesivir and intubating hapless Covid victims. Sounds like a racket, a little bit, but then the word racket defines the totality of Dr. Fauci’s career. The decisions he made about banning early treatment of Covid and suppressing information about cheap and effective drugs — in the service of preserving the emergency use authorization and the concomitant liability shield for his deadly “vaccines” — arguably led to the deaths of several hundred thousand people. If he doesn’t live to see prosecution, bear in mind that he had plenty of deputies and associates throughout the public health agencies carrying out that policy who deserve to spend some time in courtrooms.

Meanwhile, the prudent will save their energy to get through the rigors ahead and make plans for a changed economic landscape that will require all the classical virtues they can muster for creating a life worth living.

I predicted at the end of 2021, the narratives would collapse with the vax, voter fraud and economy propped up by the Fed. I did not realize the collapse would happen at this speed, but it has. There is more bad news with the vax injection narrative. The sick are overwhelmingly the vaxed, and now more autopsies have been done on the injected that show 93% in one study died of the CV19 so-called vaccinations. The vax attacked the body and all its organs, including the heart 100% of the time. The doctors that performed the autopsies have never seen this before.

More is coming out with voter fraud from the 2020 Election season. One whistleblower says he was paid $10 per ballot to rig the election for the Democrat candidates for Senate in Georgia. The whistleblower says 240 other people did the same thing in the Georgia runoff for Senate, and that adds up to $11 million in illegal money and voter fraud to throw the Senate to the Democrats. New information is coming out almost every week, and the fraud is being cut off by state legislatures. The Dems are panicking and trying to change the voter laws on a national level to make legal their fraud of 2020.

Minutes of the Fed meeting in December are out, and the Fed looks like it is worried enough about inflation to do something about it. They can stop the money printing and kill the economy, or they can go full speed ahead with debt monetization and kill the U.S. dollar and probably kill it as the reserve currency of the planet. Tough choice and both are bad. You best be ready and that means own your stuff and cut back on the risk.

The Population Is Being Killed Off with Covid mRNA “Vaccines”

A scientific study recently released by British researchers found that for men under forty the risk of myocarditis almost doubled after the first Pfizer jab. The risk doubled again after the second jab, and doubled again after the third jab to eight times the baseline risk. What is said to be an immunogen is in fact a pathogen engineered to be distributed throughout the body and to attack heart, lungs, brain, ovaries, and all vital organs. Disabilities and deaths result.

There are valid reasons to suspect that both the virus and the vaccine are engineered pathogens. One is that both were under development for a long time. Another reason is that in order to generate a high level of fear to prepare people to line up for the “protection” of the vaccine, treatment was withheld in order to maximize the death rate, and known cures such as HCQ and Ivermectin were demonized and banned from use. The reason for withholding cures is to drive up the vaccination rate.

Another reason the “pandemic” is suspect is that all independent discussion and evidence is suppressed by the corrupt media and medical establishment. The narrative is controlled, and vaccination is presented as the only alternative even though it is now admitted that the vaccine is ineffective against Covid-19 and its variants. The current rationale for the vaccine was expressed the other day by the incompetent Secretary of Defense who, triple-vaxxed, still caught Covid and explained that the jabs protected him against having a more serious case. So we have a vaccine that doesn’t work against mild cases of the virus but does work against serious cases! Just how does that work?

The medical and scientific evidence is completely clear that the entire Covid narrative is counterfactual and that the authorities know it. Yet they still push, using coercion, for more vaccination.

Vaccination does not protect. It harms. So the only reason to enforce it is to kill people.

The inability of people to distrust “authorities” and the inability of people to inform themselves and to think for themselves guarantees that millions will die from being vaccinated. When you see thousands of independent doctors and medical scientists damning the vaccine only to be ignored by bureaucratic “public health” organizations, you have clear evidence that real authority is not speaking. It is being suppressed.

Anytime debate and information is suppressed, you know that something is being hidden and that a secret agenda is operating.

The orchestrated “Covid pandemic” is a massive crime against humanity. Are we going to allow them to get away with it? Or will there be too few of us left to do anything about it?

An expert pointed out to me that clearly medical authorities do not mind if the vaccine is killing people, and the deaths are consistent with the Bill Gates/World Economic Forum intent to reduce the world population. However, an intermediate goal is to transition to the vaccine passport as in Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, and with France, Belgium and the Netherlands about to join in the requirement of a digital ID that allows tracking of everyone and every interaction and, thereby, control of the population with rewards and punishments like the Chinese Social Credit System. This allows the controlled populations to be scapegoated for the mayhem caused by depopulation.

This is a reasonable explanation for the emphasis on Covid passports. As it is known and admitted that the vaccine is inefficient as a protection against the virus, and as the virus is dangerous mainly to untreated patients with comorbidities, the passport is pointless for any purpose other than control. The passport provides no protection whatsoever against the spread of the virus and the immune system’s attack on the body’s vital organs.

Coulter: The Great Epstein Cover-up, Part I

Question: Is our ruling class trying to make us to think they’re a bunch of pederasts? Our media could not be less interested in Jeffrey Epstein’s child molestation ring and, with the sole exception of the Palm Beach Police Department, every arm of government has bent over backward to bury the case.

The jury’s courageous delivery last week of five “guilty” verdicts against Epstein’s pimp, Ghislaine Maxwell, was a sort of reverse jury nullification. The U.S. attorney’s office — the prosecution — did everything it could to get an acquittal, but the jurors defied them.

As for media coverage, did you even know that the FBI found Epstein’s cache of sex tapes labeled “(name of underage girl) + (name of VIP)” — and then lost them?

Immediately after Epstein’s arrest at Teterboro Airport in July 2019, the FBI executed a search warrant on his New York mansion. Following a daylong search, agents discovered a hidden safe in the closet of a fifth-floor dressing room, used a saw to break into it, and found an enormous collection of photos of naked girls, and CDs of the girls apparently having sex with influential men.

Then, the agents left — abandoning the photos and CDs, with Epstein’s employees free to wander about the place. As Kelly Maguire, FBI special agent in charge of the search, explained during Maxwell’s trial, they only had a warrant to search the house, but not to remove evidence — evidence at the heart of the entire sex trafficking scheme.

It didn’t occur to Maguire to leave a single agent behind to guard the CDs? How about the intern who just gets coffee?

You’ll never guess what happened next.

The CDs and photographs disappeared. By the time the FBI returned with a new warrant — four days later — to remove the CDs and photos, they were gone. Later, after a few phone calls, Epstein’s lawyer, Richard Kahn, “returned” the cache in two suitcases. I had no idea they were important! I was just tidying up!

Were the videos tampered with? Were all of the photos returned? Who knows!

This was testified to by Special Agent Maguire. That’s the last time I trust the lawyer of a pedophile! Boy, is my face red! Darn it! … Oh well, what are you going to do?

(Before moving on, let’s take a moment to honor the historic appointment of Kelly Maguire as FBI special agent. Another glass ceiling shattered!)

How could any search warrant for Epstein’s residence fail to specify videos?

The reason the tapes are kind of important is that it was perfectly clear — certainly by 2019 — that Epstein had no legitimate source of income to fund his Caligula lifestyle, and further, that he was farming out underage girls for sex to the rich and powerful — with hidden cameras running everywhere. It sure looked like his underage sex ring was a blackmail/kompromat operation.

Obviously, the most important question is: On behalf of whom? The tapes of “(underage girl) + (important person)” would have gone a long way toward answering that. What did the search warrant specify, if not videos and photographs?

If I didn’t know better, I might think that those in power don’t want us to know anything about Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation.

As further evidence that there is ABSOLUTELY NO COVER-UP: The New York Times has never breathed a single word about the CDs lost in the FBI’s botched search. Nor has The Washington Post. Nor the Chicago Tribune. Nor the Los Angeles Times.

Wait — I’ll make this easier. Here’s a list of all the major U.S. newspapers that did report on Maguire’s breathtaking revelation:

Oddly, media in the rest of the world seemed to find Maguire’s testimony about the vanishing CDs somewhat more newsworthy. The story of the missing tapes was covered — repeatedly — in The Daily Telegraph (London), The Independent (United Kingdom), The Daily Mail (Ireland), Economic News (Russia) and the Daily Mail (U.K.), among others.

The totally not-a-cover-up gets weirder and weirder.

Epstein had vast wealth, and we still don’t know where it came from. Normally, the IRS is extremely curious about unexplained flows of riches. Did the IRS decide in this case, Well, he may be a committed and energetic pedophile, but as far as we know, he’s a conscientious taxpayer!

Similarly, there are vague claims that he made his money from “investments.” The SEC wasn’t the least bit interested in finding out how he got this rich from secretive “investment” services?

And this: Epstein spent decades aggressively cultivating powerful, important men, quite a few from foreign countries — evidently taping all their activities. Why wasn’t the CIA concerned? Couldn’t he have sold dirt on U.S. politicians to foreign intel agencies?

Finally, it’s odd that our government wasn’t concerned about how much blackmail material Epstein had gathered on high-level U.S. officials. Doesn’t the FBI try to prevent that sort of situation? Or the Secret Service?

How was it that all these agencies let Epstein keep up his activities for so long?

By health authorities I don’t just mean Dr. Anthony Fauci, the designated National SARS-CoV-2 Coordinator, or his accomplices in the Dept. of Health and Human Services agencies, CDC, NIH, NIAID, etc., but also the purblind US medical establishment of actual doctors in clinical practice, researchers, hospital administrators, and pharma executives who acted with a collective stupid malevolence not seen since the crematory-stuffers of the Nazi bureaucracy carried out their final solution.

We know what you did. You engineered and patented a gain-of-function virus at the same time you conspired with pharma companies to devise and patent pseudo-vaccines, and then you loosed both of them on the public. You didn’t just fail to adequately test the “vaccines” cooked up by Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson, but you deliberately botched the trials and lied about it. You created rich $$ incentives for hospitals to mis-treat Covid patients by failing to use known, safe, effective anti-virals. You conspired with social and news media to suppress information about those common anti-viral drugs that would have informed many patients’ decisions and saved thousands of lives. You treated late-stage patients dying of Covid-induced vascular disorder with the ineffective and toxic drug remdesivir that Dr. Fauci had developed unsuccessfully for an ebola outbreak years ago. (Nurses turned so cynical about the remdesivir protocol that they nicknamed it “run-death-is-near.”) You prompted government officials to lockdown society, force useless masking, and now to coerce “vaccination” by threatening to deprive citizens of their livelihoods.

The US Supreme Court will entertain arguments this Friday, January 7, to enjoin against “Joe Biden’s” mandates to coerce “vaccination” in companies that employ more than a hundred people and a separate mandate forcing vaxxes on staff at Medicare / Medicaid certified “providers” (meaning most hospitals and doctors’ offices). There’s a pretty good chance the court will decide against the mandates. They’re expected to rule Monday, January 10, the day that the mandates are supposed to take effect.

The government’s actions around the Covid-19 event look more and more to be deliberately and maliciously intended to harm lives and cause social and economic breakdown. In the last weeks of 2021, federal public health officers even blocked shipments of monoclonal antibodies around the country, despite their proven efficacy. The CDC scheduled the use of PCR tests for Covid-19 to end on December 31, after declaring them unreliable in August. Why the five-month lag? (To keep case numbers jacked up, that’s why.)

Every effort is being made to extend emergency use authorizations for unsafe and ineffective “vaccines” in order to sustain shields against liability for the benefit of their manufacturers. Pfizer refuses to release in the USA its FDA-approved comirnaty version of the EUA-protected BioNTech product for that reason. The Pentagon has lied and confabulated its use of the two Pfizer products in order to illegally force unapproved BioNTech vaccinations on enlisted men and women. Hospital directors, doctors, and their professional associations continue to persecute colleagues who speak publicly against the “vaccines.” The “vaccine” makers refuse to disclose the exact contents of their products, and were permitted to withhold data on safety trials until a half-century into the future. The obvious conclusion is that they don’t want the public to be informed about any of this. The net effect is that medicine in the USA has destroyed its own authority. Who can trust his doctor knowing that they’ve gone along with all this epic dishonesty?

The country is heading into an agonizing reality-test at a scale and speed never seen before in world history. You can already assume that government has lost control of the Covid-19 story. The Omicron scare is failing miserably. Lots of cases, few deaths, mild symptoms. Government’s credibility is shot. In the months ahead, we’ll learn just how harmful those “vaccines” were — especially among American children — as deaths mount from damage done to people’s organs and immune systems.

The perfidious news media is scrambling now to adjust its narratives, but they won’t escape the record of falsehood they’ve sedulously laid down. They can’t delete or rewrite every story in their archives, and many of these are printed out in hard-copy anyhow. Next, they’ll try apologizing. (“Sorry, but the pandemic drove us a little nuts.”) That’s hardly enough. They have to answer in courts of law — or else we must just declare the USA a lawless state.

The Covid-19 crimes against our fellow citizens amount to only one piece of a package of reality-tests coming our way in 2022. Do you think Special Counsel John Durham skulked off to drink pina coladas in oblivion after indicting a couple of errand boys (Danchenko and Sussman)? He is a hypersonic force orbiting over a well-known cast of political criminals who are headed for prosecution. Next up will be the train wreck of the US economy. Do you think the crimes around the 2020 national election are buried and forgotten? You’re in for some harsh surprises. Things have truly flipped. You just don’t realize it yet.

Paul Craig Roberts: 2022 A Challenging year

I remember when 1984 was in the distant future. We wondered if our destiny was going to be Big Brother’s police state. But 1984 turned out to be the middle of the Reagan years. Liberals didn’t like Reagan’s rhetoric, but his policies worked. Supply-side economics cured stagflation, and we were working to end the cold war. It was difficult not to like a president who could quip in response to an assassination attempt on his life, “I forgot to duck.”

New ideas reinvigorated US economic and foreign policy. Our future had brightened.

Soviet President Gorbachev agreed to the reunification of Germany on the assurance from the George H.W. Bush administration that in exchange NATO would not move one inch to the East.

But the Clinton regime, with Republican Bob Dole egging them on, dishonored the word of the United States government and moved NATO to Russia’s borders, thus restarting the Cold War that Reagan and Gorbachev had ended.

In a series of lawless actions–the bombing of Yugoslavia, the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the bombings of Pakistan territory–together with dismissive treatment of Russia, Washington, lost in its arrogant hubris as “the world’s only superpower,” awoke and aroused Russia and brought her out of her docility.

At the Munich Security Conference in 2007 Putin said that the lawless behavior of the US was undermining peaceful relations based in international law. He said Washington’s monopolistic dominance in global relations left no room for the interests and concerns of other countries and he criticized Washington for unbridled hyper use of force in international relations.

Washington and its vassals were astonished at Putin having the gall to annoy the superpower, but wrapped up in remaking the Middle East in Israel’s interest, paid no attention to him.

Washington and its vassals were again astonished in 2015 when Putin blocked the Obama regime’s invasion of Syria and, together with the Syrian Army, defeated the mercenaries Washington sent to overthrow Assad.

Faced with Washington’s destruction of the arms control agreements reached over decades, in 2018 Putin announced a stunning array of new weapons systems such as hypersonic and random trajectory nuclear missiles that made it apparent to independent experts that the US was suddenly a second-rate military power. No one has listened to us, Putin said. “You listen to us now.”

But no one did. Washington is too comfortable snug in its arrogance and hubris and holds firmly to what is now a delusion of its omnipotence. Washington even thinks it can bring Ukraine and the former Russian province of Georgia into NATO.

The Kremlin’s response to Washington’s madness has sharpened the issue: “Get off our doorstep, or we will drive you off.” This is a demand, and it is not negotiable.

Given the total uselessness of the US media that serves only the elite interest groups that control America, Americans themselves are unaware that their idiot government has brazenly provoked a situation in which Russia has told Washington to get your bases and military maneuvers away from our borders or suffer the consequences. Americans are so totally uninformed that they could be incinerated before they knew there was a problem.

2022 opens with two unprecedented crises. One is the attempt by governments in the “Free West” to use Covid to turn crumbling democracies into police states.

The other is the prospect of Armageddon, given the lack of intelligent and reasonable leadership everywhere in the Western World.

Can you identify any intelligent leader anywhere in the Western world? No? Neither can I.

The West’s leaders are nothing but whores for the controlling interest groups. They have probably never had an independent thought in their entire lives and are incapable of thinking. How are such useless beings going to deal with a serious crisis? Look at the people in the Biden regime. They are a collection of jokes. There is nothing there.

Where is a secretary of state capable of reassuring the Kremlin and easing Washington out of its commitment to American hegemony?

He is nowhere to be found.

The situation is extremely serious, because Russia is facing an aggressor whose leaders are disconnected from reality. Biden, who is only there part of the time, has advisors from the Russian-hating neoconservatives at the Center for New American Security funded by the US military/security complex and oil companies. The state department official who oversaw the overthrow of the elected government of Ukraine is now the Undersecretary of State. The warmongers responsible for Clinton’s bombing of Yugoslavia in the 1990s and for all of Washington’s illegal wars in the 21st century are ensconced in the Biden regime.

US Senators from both parties are demanding that Biden stand up to Putin. Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel berated Biden for even accepting a phone call from Putin! Republican US Senator Roger Wicker, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, called for raining destruction on Russia’s military capability from our Navy in the Black Sea and refuses to rule out a first strike on Russia with nuclear weapons.

Michael McFaul, the Russophobe Obama sent as US Ambassador to Russia, dismissed Putin’s demand that the US respect Russia’s security concern as “Russian paranoia.”

With Democrats and Republicans united in stupidity, with Stephen Cohen dead, and with no one to say Whoa! how is the Biden regime, burdened by fools and idiots, going to realize that the Kremlin has had enough?

Patriotic Americans have always wrapped themselves in the flag. USA! USA! USA! The neoconservatives have told them that they are exceptional and indispensable with the right to rule the world. Americans are not even aware that Washington has created a crisis.

The Russian government has reached the conclusion that its years of accepting provocations and insults, relying instead on diplomatic efforts to reach a peaceful and reasonable accommodation, did not succeed. As Putin said, we retreated and retreated in the interest of peace, and now they are on our doorstep and we have nowhere left to which to retreat.

And still Washington does not hear.

COVID scam falls apart; it’s over

Since the beginning, I’ve been producing the evidence COVID is a scam. Now, official agencies are virtually admitting it.

On December 29, the head of the CDC, Rochelle Walensky, announced, in a White House press briefing, that the PCR test can register positive (meaning the person is “infected”) long AFTER infection is over.

Here’s Walensky’s money quote:

“…people can remain PCR positive for up to 12 weeks after infection and long after they are transmissible and infectious.”

That means MILLIONS of FALSE positive test results have been logged as REAL, in the past two years.

If you can’t trace the implications of THAT, I can’t help you.

Of course, the blind following the blind following Fauci will say, “But…but…the CDC couldn’t have made a mistake that big…there must be some explanation…”

Someone said, “There wasn’t any ‘fact checking’ until the truth started to come out.” Finding the truth about the two most important issues of our time, COVID-19 and the 2020 Election has become extremely difficult, not because the truth is not out there, but because our government and leaders offer obfuscation and suppression of truth rather than the transparency that they always promise. COVID-19 and Election 2020 are forever entwined. For the most part they know what is true and not true, they just don’t want us to know. It does not serve their purpose. So, we are left with lies and suspicion of lies.

We depend on what we can see, leaks of information and underground news outlets that have no agenda. We are charged with connecting the dots, determining motives and who profits. From there we can make reasonable assumptions.

As far back as I can find, in 2003, Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld wanted a Ministry of Truth to control the information coming out of Washington. It was to show that the government is always right, of course, especially about why we were going to war. The Democrats today are much worse. The Left is demanding a Ministry of Truth (or Ministry of Propaganda) of their own to counter the Right’s contention that they stole an election, conducted a well orchestrated coup, and are using a man-made virus they created with China to radically change America to a socialist ‘utopia’ comparable to Communist China. They think the power they will garner for themselves will more than make up for their treason. The prosperity of Americans is furthest from their minds.

The Left wants us to believe that Biden won an election with more votes than any candidate in our history. And that he won those votes from his basement, without campaigning and when he did, managed to attract 50 or so people to hear him speak. They want us to consign to oblivion the massive mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, a halt in the counting half way through the counting, ballots arriving in the middle of the night, no voter ID laws in 16 states, videos of vote counters hiding ballots underneath tables. The DNC and the media is holding on to this fantasy like grim death.

They want us to believe that Trump was an atrocious president, the absolute worst… worthy of eviction to ‘save democracy’ all while destroying it. Never mind he managed to create energy independence, low gas prices, brought back manufacturing, had China on their heels. Almost everyday we heard of companies coming back to America to produce goods previously made in Asia. We had the lowest unemployment rate in fifty years, minority unemployment lowest on record. The middle class was raised to new heights. Incomes rose in every metro area. The bottom 50% of American households saw a 40% rise in net worth. Small business confidence saw highs never seen before. Our military was rebuilt.

All this in spite of 24/7 attacks from Democrats, the media, Big Tech, and academia… all entities profiting from their relationship with China. A Harvard professor was recently arrested for taking bribes in the millions from the Chinese Communist Party. Nothing unusual, he just got caught. Trump proved to the world that America had been purposely held back by foreign and domestic enemies. Trump was always America First, brash, proud, strong…a metaphor of a greater time.

Comes the Biden presidency and the beating into submission of the greatest nation on earth. In less than one year, we have massive inflation, a shortage of willing workers…being paid to stay home, no more energy independence, two million more illegal aliens taking residence, mostly poor, many with diseases and/or criminal backgrounds. Crime is at record levels in every major city and still growing. We have prosecutors that won’t prosecute. Drive-by shootings are ignored. Food items expected to rise 20 - 25% in 2022. Our military officer corps purged Stalin-style. And, of course, a pandemic that kills almost at the same rate as the flu but they’ve turned the country upside down anyway by pushing untested, ineffective vaccines without the slightest knowledge of long-term effects. Every accomplishment Trump made, Biden reversed, but insists we have the greatest economy in 50 years. Biden will forever be the personification, the symbol of America he is creating…weak, incoherent, confused, convoluted.

Hillary Clinton, a woman with few core values of any worth, a sly political # extraordinaire, rears her head once again. While winking at her confederates, she attacks the Left for going too far, working hard to stand out, hoping to once again get the Democrat nomination for President. Lies and suspicion are her permanent companions.

It has become almost a bad joke that if you get admitted to the hospital for COVID, you’re probably going to die
There are about 20,000 confirmed vaccine deaths just in the U.S. with a real number in the six figure category. In addition, thousands of reports of waning immunity in just a few months along with heart inflammation, blood clots, miscarriages, myocarditis, pericarditis, higher rates of COVID hospitalizations among the vaccinated, neurological disorders. All ages being affected, especially heart problems among teenagers. Also, the fully vaccinated are found to be carrying more viral load than the unvaccinated, spreading the disease. Airline pilots are suing the Biden administration for compromising airline safety by demanding an untested vaccine be administered to pilots and crews against FAA regulations. Last report of about a month ago, 112 pilots have died, some in mid flight.

How any responsible news outlet can still push these vaccines to the public is a shame and an enigma.

Except for the recent availability of monoclonal antibodies, hospitals are being paid large sums by the government (taxpayers) to ‘treat’ COVID with therapeutics they know don’t work. If the hospital says the patient died of COVID, the government (FEMA) will help pay for the funeral. How many families are going to argue with the diagnosis? No wonder there are so many reported ‘COVID’ deaths. It has become almost a bad joke that if you get admitted to the hospital for COVID, you’re probably going to die.

Microbes across the land and ocean are evolving to degrade plastic

Five years ago, scientists digging through soil and sludge around a plastics recycling center in Japan discovered a bacterium that was feeding on the popular packaging material PET as an energy source, with help from a pair of purposely evolved enzymes. A fascinating discovery at the time, a new study has shown this to be part of a much wider trend in which such plastic-degrading enzymes are increasing in numbers and diversity in response to plastic pollution around the world.

Since that discovery in Japan in 2016, we have seen a couple of other interesting advances in this space. The initial hope was that by unearthing those enzymes that enabled the bacterium to quickly reduce PET plastic into environmentally benign building blocks, even more efficient versions could be engineered in the lab to form new weapons in the fight against plastic pollution.

In 2018, a group of scientists in the US built on this research to produce an engineered enzyme that could consume plastics with around 20 percent greater efficiency. That same team then developed an even more advanced version in 2020, which they described as a super-enzyme, that could digest plastic waste at six times the speed.

A range of enzymes with similar abilities have been uncovered, and new research by a team from Sweden's Chalmers University of Technology shows just widespread the phenomenon is. The researchers analyzed samples of environmental DNA sourced from hundreds of ocean and terrestrial locations around the world, using computer modeling to screen them for microbial enzymes with the potential to break down plastics.

This revealed a total of 30,000 enzymes with the potential to degrade 10 types of common plastics, with the scientists then cross-referencing this with official data on concentration of plastic pollution across different countries and oceans. It turned out that some of the locations with the highest amount of enzymes were the most heavily polluted areas, such as the Mediterranean Sea and South Pacific Ocean.

“Using our models, we found multiple lines of evidence supporting the fact that the global microbiome's plastic-degrading potential correlates strongly with measurements of environmental plastic pollution – a significant demonstration of how the environment is responding to the pressures we are placing on it,” says study author Aleksej Zelezniak.

The enzymes were found to be distributed widely across ocean and terrestrial locations, but with a few interesting insights. The team found higher concentrations of plastic-degrading enzymes at deeper levels in the ocean, indicating a connection with the greater concentrations of microplastics seen at these depths. Similarly, the land samples were found to contain many more phthalate-based plastic additive compounds, along with enzymes known to be capable of degrading them, indicating a connection between the two.

“Currently, very little is known about these plastic-degrading enzymes, and we did not expect to find such a large number of them across so many different microbes and environmental habitats. This is a surprising discovery that really illustrates the scale of the issue,” explains Jan Zrimec, first author of the study.

The mass production of plastic has skyrocketed from around two million tonnes annually to a staggering 380 million in the last seven decades or so, and around eight million tonnes wash into the ocean each year. While this has given microbes a sizable window to develop evolutionary responses to the waste in their environments, it would take a lot of highly efficient enzymes to eat away at the problem. But with significant findings like this, the scientists' playbook continues to expand.

“The next step would be to test the most promising enzyme candidates in the lab to closely investigate their properties and the rate of plastic degradation they can achieve," says Zelezniak. "From there you could engineer microbial communities with targeted degrading functions for specific polymer types."

If 2021 was the year of maximum corruption, political decadence, and mind-fuckery in US history, 2022 is looking like a convulsive snap-back to the harrowing rigors of reality, spiked with shocking losses, reckonings, and not a little retribution for the rogues and reprobates who drove our country into a ditch. Quandaries abound now in the wreckage of economy, culture, and polity. The years of anything-goes-and-nothing-matters have ended — though you might not know it yet, at this very advent of Twenty-Double-Deuce. Welcome to the banquet of consequences. Soup’s on!

The American people have been played backwards and forwards, inside and out, through and through, and up and down; driven to the very edge of national suicide by a combine of enemies within and without. If China’s CCP wanted to take maximum advantage of a weakened, confused USA, they couldn’t have found more zealous help-mates than the seditious Democratic Party, along with Dr. Anthony Fauci’s treasonous public health empire, the murderous pharmaceutical companies, the recklessly dishonest news media, and a demonic host of federal agencies, especially the three-stooge “Intel Community” — the CIA (Moe), DOJ (Larry), FBI (Curley) — plus the many secret horror chambers in the Pentagon. Throw in the Big Tech tyrants, the Marxist mandarins on campus, and the satanic narcissists of Hollywood. Oh, and let’s not forget the evil principality of grift and swindling that is Wall Street.

We still don’t know exactly what role the CCP and its Peoples’ Liberation Army played in the origins of Covid-19, and we don’t know because the US government doesn’t want us to know — because they had a role in it — and the news media won’t lift a finger to find out, either, because they are the propaganda arm of the regime in power. We do know an awful lot about the operations of Dr. Fauci and his colleagues in funding the development of the virus in Wuhan for the purpose of introducing a wildly profitable set of “vaccines” which, if anything, prolonged and exacerbated the pandemic, and harmed or killed millions all over the world.

We also know that this same set of players in public health and Big Pharma gamed the clinical trials that preceded the emergency use authorizations that loosed the “vaccines” on the people, and that they deliberately obstructed and suppressed proven treatments with inexpensive off-patent drugs that would have saved many hundreds of thousands of lives if they had been allowed within so-called standards-of-practice that rule medicine these days. The same gang fudged their statistical reporting wherever possible, especially by failing to fix the kludgy CDC VAERS website for listing adverse reactions to the “vaccines,” but also in creating conditions that made it impossible to discern actual Covid deaths from “vaccine” deaths, and deaths either caused by co-morbidities or extraneous occurrences such as highway accidents or gunshot killings.

In 2021, a mountain of evidence was accumulated about all this criminal mischief, capped by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s massive book about Dr. Fauci’s unholy career at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a virtual prosecution manual, meticulously annotated, that will be used in countless lawsuits against Dr. Fauci, his colleagues who outlive him, and the many agencies and NGOs — and perhaps in actual criminal trials of these very well-known perps.

This is where things stand at the turning of the new year 2022. Who doesn’t want to know where this historic game goes from here? A lot of story-lines are changing and quickly. It’s obvious that the “Joe Biden” admin wants to run the pandemic for at least one more year, most particularly to keep in place the “emergency” mail-in ballot scam that perverted the 2020 election. But more than half the country is onto that con and I predict that we’ll see more rigorous voting rules and regs in place — or, if those reforms meet resistance, a battle so fierce over them that the elections may not even take place on schedule.

Just now, too many Americans are already fed up with being pushed around by public officials supposedly for their own good. They see through the evils of the Covid-19 racket. They’ve watched the rape of the public interest. They understand that the “vaccines” were a disastrous experiment run lawlessly. They’ve witnessed the harms done to themselves and their loved ones. They’re appalled at the hijacking of science by people as scientifically profane as the necromancers, astrologasters, and inquisitors of yore.

They won’t submit to any more lockdowns, to any more attempts to interfere with and destroy small business. They’ve had enough of the race-and-gender hustles that have disordered society, ruined cities that were already struggling, traduced the basic principle of public safety, and forced people to play pretend around obvious psychopathology and depravity. They are not going to play along anymore. They are going to resist and fight — in the city councils, in the school boards, in the courts, and on battlefields, if it comes to that.

Ol’ Man Pandemic

He just kept rollin’ along. The weaker but more infectious Omicron variant of coronavirus currently ripping through global populations looks like a signal that the end of this vicious melodrama is in sight. Let’s predict that the actual disease phase of Covid-19 burns itself out by spring at the latest, unless malign actors have more lab-grown monsters they can release into the general population whenever they feel like it. But the demonically-installed harms built into the vaccines will keep killing and disabling people for a long time to come.

We know that the spike proteins have been clinically observed lurking in human bodies as much as fifteen months after a shot of mRNA, and that they induce a lot of damage to blood vessels, organs, and immune systems. We’re just coming into the first anniversary of the vaccines — not to mention that millions have gotten additional shots and then boosters right up to this week — so those harmful spike proteins will be working their hoodoo all of 2022 and beyond.

As the Thai-German doctor Sucharit Bhakdi warned recently, the compromised immune systems of the vaxxed may provoke a large-scale revival of age-old killer diseases like tuberculosis that are ever-present in small amounts in our bodies and usually suppressed. The people of Asia and Africa are particularly susceptible because public sanitation and clean water there is sketchier. The vaccines are also said to provoke the expression of lurking cancers, especially among those in remission from illness. The residual mortality from the vaccines may end up being greater than the deaths from the virus itself.

In the background of all that lurks that ominous prediction made by the Deagle military analysis company several years ago that estimated the population of the USA would crash to 99-million in 2025 — down from over 330-million now. Deagle never even explained that, and they took down the web page last year when their alarming forecast suddenly started looking plausible. Just sayin’.

Any way you cut it, the Covid-19 episode will thunder through the lives of many millions of people, especially in the nations of Western Civ, which has taken the hardest hits in terms of self-destructive government policy. The pandemic has accelerated the collapse of industrial economies, a process I call the long emergency, and eventually it will end up affecting all nations, even if the West happens to go down first. Societies will be propelled through a period of disorder, surely longer and more difficult in some places than others, depending on local resources. The destination of this journey is a place where the human project is run at much lower scale and pitch than we have gotten used to in our time, with far fewer “modern” comforts and conveniences, and shocking losses in knowledge and applied science. It won’t be the first time this has happened in human history, but the wreckage will be much greater.

Economy, Finance, and Money

Our economy is hitched to our energy resources. The business model for providing fossil fuels to the global economy is broken in many ways, and therefore the business model of a high-tech industrial production economy is also broken. The shale oil industry was launched on a high tide of near-zero financing and over a decade since then it produced an enormous quantity of oil (though less-than first-rate, short on heavy distillates such as diesel and heating oil). In the process, shale oil producers proved they could not make any money on these very expensive operations, and we now enter a period of capital scarcity that will make it harder for them to attract new investment and continue performing. Besides that, they are exhausting the “sweet spots” for drilling and fracking.

What’s left after you subtract shale oil are the conventional fields that were in steep decline in 2008 when the shale campaign got underway. In 2022, expect US oil production to fall below 9-million barrels a day. We consume just under 20-million barrels-a-day, and import the difference. You would have every reason to expect that a more disorderly world scene may interfere with our pool imports in 2022. Expect consumption to drop too, as economic activity weakens. Let’s predict consumption will fall to 15-million barrels-a-day. The oil markets will therefore be disorderly, with price oscillation as shortages and demand destruction push and pull each other. Remember the basic equation: oil over $75-a-barrel weakens economies; oil under $75-a-barrel crushes oil companies.

The wish persists that we can run the complex systems of modern life on alternative energy sources, but that wish is just not panning out. The realization that this is so will spread through western civ in 2022 and create more anxiety, more disordered thinking, cultish behavior, and breakdown of social norms. For now, the public arena is entirely occupied by the mass formation psychosis that first erupted around Donald Trump and then shifted to Covid-19. The stresses and tension of these demoralizing dynamics may lead in 2022 to the outbreak of political violence that will make it even harder to reach consensus on a way through our economic quandaries.

Let’s agree to compress our recent economic history, since I’ve rehearsed it many times in weekly blogs at Clusterfuck Nation: We replaced our on-the-ground goods manufacturing activities with so-called financialization, essentially the manufacture of debt — borrowing from the future to run our complex systems today, to compensate for the losses accrued by our broken energy business model. It was all a swindle, since you can’t create prosperity with the sheer management of instruments purporting to represent wealth if there is no real production of material wealth behind it. Debt is not wealth. You can play games with it in financial markets, buy and sell it, manipulate interest rates and prices to give the appearance of things functioning. But that only goes so far — specifically to the point where reality overcomes artifice, and that’s where we are now. Substituting debt for wealth introduced perversities into the economy. Now you can’t tell the real value of anything — “price discovery” is disabled — and that bleeds into socio-economic behavior, too. Now, many business activities, including the supposedly self-consciously ethical fields of higher-ed and medicine, have become dreadful rackets, which is to say efforts to make money dishonestly. We can’t pretend that all this okay anymore. We’re left with a gigantic edifice of debt that will never be paid back and a whole lot of bad behavior that is corroding our humanity.

After two decades of papering over our inability to pay for running our society, the Federal Reserve has finally achieved old-school inflation — the destruction of money itself — not just the pumping up of share prices, their specialty for so many years. They kept inflation at bay all that time by exporting it to other countries who sent us real stuff in exchange for our paper promises: treasury bills, notes, bonds. Covid lockdowns and the destruction of business finally killed that longstanding equilibrium and then growing ill feeling between the US and China starting killing supply chains. Now, globalism is on the ropes and with it our ability to export US treasury paper. All the “helicopter money” flushed into the system during Covid now chases goods that have a tougher journey to their points-of-sale. Parts of machines, cars, and many other things become hard to get. Prices go up. Systems break down and their failures ramify in other systems.

With inflation running officially around 8 percent, and unofficially more like 15 percent, the real interest rate on a ten-year treasury bond is the nominal 1.49 percent minus between 8 and 15 percent, a deeply negative number. Owning that paper is a dead loss. If the rate of inflation continues merely apace of 2021 in 2022, the loss will steepen. If inflation continues greater than apace of 2021, treasury paper will be like so many smallpox blankets on the global bond market and America will be verging on Weimar-style runaway inflation. We won’t be able to offer any more bonds in return for stuff. The Fed will have to eat them. We’ll be importing inflation, the prices of goods will keep going up. America is in a hole of our own digging. What can be done?

The Fed has two choices, both of them unpromising. 1) “Tightening.” By measured increments, the Fed quits QE, (quantitative easing, buying bonds, a.k.a. “monetizing debt”) not just US treasury paper, but also corporate bonds, and mortgage-backed securities. They move to raise interest rates to above par with real inflation rates to give people back the old reality-based incentive for buying bonds in the first place, which is a reliable stream of interest greater than inflation. The last time inflation threatened America, 1981, Fed Chairman Paul Volker jacked up fed fund (short-term) rates to 20 percent, which put the schnitz on borrowing for a time, caused a recession, but got-er done. The catch is, the national debt and the balance sheet of the Fed were minuscule then compared to the incomprehensible trillions on-board now. And there was still a lot of actual productive industry left in the country.

An end to quantitative easing combined with raising interest rates would recalibrate markets to equilibrium — which is to say, crash them, because the end of near-zero interest would mean no more using leverage (borrowed money) to buy stocks, which are wildly overvalued after years and years of these shenanigans. The bid on stocks would end. Not enough buyers to meet sellers. Markets go down. That prompts more selling… a rush to the exits… look out below….

Tightening would crash the value of bonds, too, because bond value has an inverse relationship to interest rates — as they rise, the tradable price of bonds goes down. So, bond-holders would take a bath. Tightening actually makes money disappear — phhhtttt! — because it causes defaults (people not paying off their debts). In our system, money is loaned into existence and welshed-on loans sends money out of existence. People and corporations go broke. Higher interest rates also will make corporations default on their bond payments. Without access to more debt, many big companies may have to shut down, go out of business, perhaps forever. Government, buried under massive debt, would choke on higher interest payments. As money goes out of existence, capital becomes scarce and small business, which desperately depends on revolving credit, goes broke. The net effect of all this damage in financial markets is of deep economic depression, in this case, the long emergency case, probably a depression that becomes permanent since the basis of this particular high-energy economy, the oil industry, collapses along with everything else.

The Federal Reserve’s choice number 2) is: Don’t tighten. Rather, continue to print money like crazy, maybe even more than before, and keep trying to suppress interest rates. Keep buying bonds, notes, whatever debt paper the system pukes up. This is just the tired old scheme called kicking the can further down the road. The problem is, we’re at the end of the road. Old-school inflation had already kicked off in 2021 from two decades of QE, which was then greatly aggravated by the massive government spending to mitigate Covid. There’s no more jiggering with bond-buying and finagling the interest rates, and playing hide-the-salami with bank reserves, and stashing money in “special purpose vehicles” and other banking hidey-holes that will avail to keep things stable and happy. From here on, printing money like crazy only destroys the value of our money. You’ll have plenty of money, only it’ll get more worthless by the day — which is just another way of going broke.

Then, as the dollar purchases less and less stuff, dollars held overseas get dumped in exchange for whatever stuff is on offer: ores, grain, finished products, US real estate, precious metals, other less-damaged currencies, what-have-you. Better to own things of actual value than dollars that are fast-losing their purchasing power. Foreigners dump US treasury bonds, too, since inflation destroys their value. As foreigners do this, the dollars return home to the US provoking yet more inflation. Before long, America is awash in dollars and short on goods that you can buy with those dollars. You’re rich in dollars yet broke at the same time.

The outcome in both cases is substantially the same: the standard-of-living in America goes way down. What I predict for 2022 is that the Federal Reserve will embark on a much-heralded tightening program — and then abandon it at the first sign of trouble, the inevitable stock market downturn. Then the Fed will be back to buying our own debt paper and attempting to stuff interest rates back down, if they can, which may not be possible anymore. The Fed soon loses all control over American money. They may try to retire “old” dollars and replace them with “new” dollars backed by something, gold and silver being the obvious candidates. That will lead to a severe upward re-pricing of both metals. Let’s predict gold at $5,000 and silver at $200 by the end of 2022.

There may be a half-assed attempt to establish some kind of official US digital currency (this has been rumored for years.) The experiment will fail. Americans will resist being herded into that corral where their every financial transaction is traceable, taxable, and punishable. They will have learned their lesson about that from the Covid-19 tyrannies. They are sick of being pushed around. They no longer trust the authorities in money, government, medicine, or anything else. Anyway, as a practical matter, too many Americans operate on the fringes of the system already and depend on cash for doing all their business. Many of these are what’s called “un-banked.” They cannot participate in computerized payment systems. They will remain outside the digi-loop doing business with silver, gold, or various kinds of stuff. They’ll operate like 14th century Venetians.

I kind of doubt Bitcoin and its imitators will survive a whole lot longer after the financial system is forced to recalibrate to reality. They have thrived solely as targets of speculation. The block-chain is very clever, but ultimately Bitcoin and its ilk represent… nothing… no-thing(s). They attracted a lot of money that was just sloshing around the system during the years of artificial pseudo-prosperity, and that’s over. Anyway, they depend utterly on a stable Internet and electric grid to function and you’d be surprised at the fragility lurking in both those systems. Early 2022 may be your last chance to get out of Bitcoin with anything to show for your adventures in it.

Politics and Society

The mass formation psychosis described by Mattias Desmet of the University of Ghent is behind much of what we’ve been seeing in US politics for some years now. It was apparently triggered by the election of Donald Trump. But it seems to me the syndrome was groomed and cultivated by America’s “deep state” security, surveillance, and intelligence apparatus for decades before. Liberal Democrats didn’t have to go batshit crazy over Trump. Rather, they were manipulated into it by the deep state’s agents in the major media, starting with the preposterous RussiaGate collusion psy-op and extending through four years of nefarious schemes to disable and oust Mr. Trump. Though portrayed as the arch-enemy of the pets and pet projects of the Left — identity Marxism, open borders — as president, Mr. Trump was really much more a threat to the deep state itself, and to its matrix of wealth, power, and privilege, and they pulled out all the stops except assassination to shove him off the game-board.

His perseverance and resilience in the face of all that, was remarkable. But in the end, his enemies engineered an election marinated in various flavors of fraud, and managed to get rid of the Golden Golem of Greatness. How “Joe Biden,” the empty husk of a grifting, ward-heeling pol, came to be nominated by the Democratic Party is one of the abiding mysteries of modern times. His victory in the Super Tuesday primary, which cinched the nomination for him, was surely rigged by the DNC. His campaign, from start to finish, was a sham of hiding from the public. If the voters had been allowed to see the material on his son, Hunter, and the slime-trail of bribes recorded in hundreds of emails, contracts, and other documents on the “laptop from Hell,” “Joe Biden” would be in federal prison rather than the White House. But Facebook, Twitter, and Google conspired to censor all mention of that, and the people never got the news. So, now what?

Well, moving into the early winter of 2022, Americans are discovering just how badly they have been played on Covid-19, and how badly “Joe Biden” & Co. have handled economic matters and other things, like the daily invasion across the Mexican border, and how poorly “JB” & Co. have managed our foreign relations — the Afghan withdrawal fiasco, etc — and generally what a pathetic a figure “JB” presents to the world… and all this is looking like the ghost dance of the Democratic Party. Let’s predict the party will not survive the 2022 midterm elections intact as a coherent political faction.

I’ll give 70 / 30 odds that “Joe Biden” steps aside “for health reasons” well before the midterm election. He’s falling apart before our eyes. He can barely utter a comprehensible sentence. He embarrasses himself and the country every day. His poll numbers are in the sub-basement…. So, okay, he basically takes a dive and retires from the scene. Kamala Harris is sworn in. President Harris nominates Barack Obama as vice-president. Say, what…!

Mr. Obama is back in charge — like, was he ever not in charge since Jan 20, 2021, really? — going so far as to brazenly occupy the Oval Office as Veep for daily business — consigning Ms. Harris to a broom closet. Democrats clamor for Ms. Harris to resign and officially hand the reins to Mr. Obama. (Presidents are limited to two elected terms in office, but the constitution does not stipulate such a circumstantial appointment to office.) Kamala graciously steps aside. For the sake of “unity” and gender balance, Mr. Obama nominates Liz Cheney as the new vice-president. That’s one possible scenario. Rewrite that play with Hillary Clinton instead of Barack Obama. The Democrats are going to have to try some desperate move to retain power.

Even so, it’s hard to imagine any circumstances in which the Democratic Party retains effective control of the government. In the event that the midterm election is actually held, let’s predict Republicans regain majority control of the House and Senate, with many new faces of the MAGA persuasion among them. The Dems hopes and dreams for transformative change get flushed down the toilet. Government at the national level becomes impotent, ineffectual, unable to discharge its duties or manage anything — all this predicted explicitly, by the way, in The Long Emergency (Grove-Atlantic, 2005). Will our foreign adversaries take advantage of the situation? Can the fifty states manage their affairs without subsidies from Washington DC? Governors had better be planning for strange times.

The political right has been careful and cautious since the debacle of the January 6, 2021 march on the Capitol building. The poor boobs cajoled by FBI plants to break into the joint have been treated abominably by their government, and probably extra-legally. But mainly, the Jan. 6th caper put a damper on any more right-wing street action during “Joe Biden’s” year in office. That may change in 2022. The mood of politically-motivated people on either side of the spectrum has got to be aggravated by the tanking economy. And as the year rolls on, it will just be hungry, angry Americans of all sorts raising hell because they don’t know what else to do.

All the anxiety driving the mass formation psychosis that had first focused on Trump, and then on Covid-19 (and the unvaccinated), may now finally shift its energy at the actual source of our woes and sorrows: the DC establishment. The decline and fall of Covid-19 is going to leave a big hole in the nation’s anxious, wasted soul, and it will have to be filled with something. We’re thrust into a scene that resembles Civil War, but it becomes harder and harder to determine who is on what side, or what the sides even are — or as Mick Jagger famously hollered at Altamont CA in. ’69, “Who’s foit-ing an’ whut faw?” It’s sheer clusterfuck. Geopolitics

Gawd, who knows…? The Russians are sorely pissed because thirty years ago after the Soviet system clocked out, and eventually Vlad Putin tried to paste some kind of functioning nation back together out of the debris, we promised them in plain talk to not expand NATO, and then, year after year, we proceeded to add more countries to NATO including former Soviet Republics hedging right up to Russia’s border. Then, the US under Mr. Obama ran the “color revolution” in Ukraine, attempting to strong-arm that pathetic punching bag of a state to come over to our side… and having done that, we’re now threatening to bring them into NATO, meaning we would like to station rockets and perhaps troops and all kinds of other military stuff on what has been the doormat for every attempted invasion of Russia in modern history. Are you surprised that Russia has drawn a line in the sand there?

One can’t have a whole lot of confidence in Anthony Blinken’s State Department or in General Milley’s Woked-up, transsexual army that calling Russia’s bluff on this might work out well for the USA. Considering how economically weak we are now, how tragically disunited we are, how pussified and squishy we’ve become, maybe starting a war over Ukraine isn’t such a hot idea. One can only hope.

On the other side is China, Uncle Xi’s re-born Middle Kingdom, with gleaming skyscrapers, dazzling new airports and highways, the fabulous social credit system for controlling her huge population Orwell-style. China has a lot going for her, but what’s going against her isn’t so obvious, starting with the fact that she’s hurting for long-term fossil fuel supplies. China just doesn’t have that much oil or natgas, and she’s using ever-lower quality coal to drive her industry. Her oil imports have to travel through two global choke-points, the Straits of Hormuz and the Strait of Malacca. In short, despite China’s great strides moving from the twelfth century into dazzling modernity, she might stumble on the energy quandary — like all the other “advanced” nations.

It’s no secret that under the ambitious Marxist emperor Xi Jinping, China wants to occupy the World Hegemon role that America is struggling not to abandon. Hegemon-ship usually requires geographical expansion. We’re certainly concerned about a takeover of Taiwan, which is, effectively, America’s offshore microchip facility. China could conceivably gain control over Taiwan by a thousand tiny steps without firing a shot — as the CCP has infiltrated US politics, media, and education — or by force, if only to make a theatrical point, but why invite the possibility of a nuclear exchange?

China has been adventuring in many remote parts of the world for years without drawing much international attention, buying farmland and mining sites throughout East Africa, and now she is eyeing openings in several resource-rich South American nations that recently elected friendly socialist presidents. China was awarded contracts to operate ports at both ends of the strategically important Panama Canal over twenty years ago, and Panama signed a memorandum of agreement to join China’s Belt-and-Road initiative in 2017. That got the attention of the Trump administration, which was meeting China’s expansionism with tariffs and sanctions. Mr. Trump caused several Chinese infrastructure projects for bridges, high-speed rail, and port improvements in the Canal Zone to be suspended. “Joe Biden,” a major Chinese client, is now looking the other way.

Can China actually control the unruly lands of Central Asia vital to her Belt-and-Road ambitions. For instance, Afghanistan, where China looks to establish giant mining operations, but has yet to tangle with the feisty Taliban. Let’s predict that China in 2022 is stymied in expansion and hamstrung by her energy problems. And add to that trouble in her export markets of the USA and Europe, as they begin to implode financially and the demand for Chinese manufactured goods declines.

Then there is China’s banking morass, bazillions of loans gone bad, giant businesses wobbling, and collateral in the form of a thousand skyscrapers built out of cement so inferior that it’s a miracle the buildings still stand up. How will China’s fragile banking system contend with contagion from the financial problems of the US and Europe? Let’s predict that China finds herself in enough economic difficulty that domestic disorder breaks out, the government over-reacts to it, and she becomes too paralyzed with internal political problems to make any mischief beyond her border for now.

Finally, Europe. Oh, lovely Europe, the tourist theme-park of my lifetime with its beautiful cities, tidy landscapes, its cafes, cathedrals, girls on motorbikes, its fabulous deep culture. Looks like the whole shebang is going down the chute now, with intimations of a return to 20th century political upheaval. Somehow, Covid-19 has provoked Austria and Germany to return to behavior that smells a little bit like what went on in the Hitler years. Hard to believe, I know, but look at them! Police state tactics! Forced vaccinations! Lockdowns! Harsh punishments for those who resist. It’s sickening, and looks like it’s getting entrenched.

Euroland’s economy is a mess. Its energy problems are worse than China’s. Except for Norway, with its dwindling North Sea oil fields, and some played-out coal mines, Europe has next to nothing for fossil fuels. Germany’s feckless “green” wind-and-solar project hasn’t worked out. She is more and more dependent on Russian oil and gas, and Germany’s position in NATO subjects her to the machinations of the USA against Russia, which has stymied the opening of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline across the Baltic Sea. They may end up freezing this winter, and starving the following winter. The European banking system is a laughable fraud, since the EU has no control of the fiscal decisions made by member governments that issue increasingly worthless bonds. It’s going to be a rough year there with governments coming and going — stumbling as they go. Perhaps France gets a little lucky. The maverick journalist Éric Zemmour wins the election as president and spurs a revival of French national spirit. He’s still stuck with the rot in financials, but at least he bolsters the country’s morale. And unlike the Germans, France did not choose to close down its nuclear power industry, so the lights stay on there.

There you have it, ye denizens of Clusterfuck Nation. I can do no more with this. I wish you all fortitude in the twelve months ahead, and courage, and kindness, and all the good things that we are capable of. We’ll need that. There is still a lot to cherish about this country of ours, the good old USA, and I believe we’ll rediscover that in Double-deuce, along with some ability to tell ourselves the truth about things that matter and act consistently with it! COVID treatment protocols and the death of 'trust your doctor'

Recently, President Biden's press secretary, Jen Psaki, said: "For the unvaccinated, you're looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm."

That unvarnished statement, from the podium of the White House Press Room, was then followed by an update from CDC director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, and the chief medical adviser to the president, Dr. Anthony Fauci. During the entirety of this government-sponsored "infomercial" on the dangers of COVID-19, not a single mention was made of the importance, availability or efficacy of early treatment for COVID-19.

No one on the podium described the importance of a person's Vitamin D level; no review of the need to address underlying comorbidities; no attempt at explaining the many protocols for sequenced, multi-drug interventions; no thought of a monoclonal antibody treatment such as Regeneron; and no mention of the fact that older people are at a much higher risk than the young for an adverse COVID reaction.

Instead, the public was once again treated to the familiar and failing policy of prevention through vaccines and their boosters, the unscientific recommendation to mask up, the inconvenient need to maintain social distances, and the commonsense suggestion to improve the ventilation of indoor settings. The policy is always presented as a requirement for all, rather than nuanced for age groups or other conditions.

But the government's "infomercial" now has a sequel —President Biden is warning the unvaccinated of severe consequences for non-compliance with the government's orders. Among the threats is the possibility of banishment from air travel unless vaccination papers can be presented. During a televised address, he said: "[M]y administration has put [vaccine requirements] in place not to control your life, but to save your life and the lives of others." The welfare of the citizenry has long been a favorite justification for tyrannical government policies.

In my view — and the view of many other practicing physicians on the frontlines of the COVID pandemic — early treatment, not vaccine propaganda, is the best path forward.

Several different early treatment protocols are available. The one I use in my own practice most often was developed by Dr. Pierre Kory, M.D., MPH, who is a pulmonary and critical care specialist. He and physicians Paul E. Marik, M.D., FCCM, FCCP; Flávio A. Cadegiani, M.D., M.Sc., Ph.D.; Joseph Varon, M.D., FCCP, FCCM; and Jose Iglesias, D.O. assembled the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance.

The protocol for early treatment of COVID-19 is highly referenced and easy to use. I have treated hundreds of patients with COVID-19 in all risk categories with great success using variations of the Critical Care Alliance protocol. The early treatment protocol includes medications and supplements in various doses involving ivermectin, fluvoxamine, aspirin, Vitamin D, quercetin, zinc, monoclonal antibodies, and steroids. These are presented in a sequenced multi-drug strategy depending on the patient's age, severity of symptoms, and other factors.

I have recently added a consideration in my treatment regime based on a recommendation of Dr. Peter A. McCullough. He favors early use of a nose/throat irrigation strategy to reduce the COVID viral load. This concept is also backed by scientific studies. Here is a recipe I created for my patients based on this concept:

Dilute Betadine (povidone-iodine) or hydrogen peroxide to rinse the inside of nasal passages and throat. Use a nasal spray bottle or Neti-pot-type device to insert the mixture into the nose and spit it out of your mouth — do not swallow. A 20:1 (water:Betadine) dilution is a good starting point. If this causes nose or throat irritation simply dilute the solution more. Unless sterile water is used, dispose of the leftover liquid and make a new solution each time. This can be done every few hours at the start of symptoms or following a potential exposure. Using this protocol can reduce the onset, severity and duration of Covid symptoms.

It appears that the mistrust of the CDC, FDA, NIH — even hospitals and physician groups — for incessantly pushing a vaccine is growing. To this end, I am hearing of doctors who refuse to see unvaccinated patients, hospitals that slow-walk treatment with unvaccinated patients, and even pediatricians who push COVID vaccinations on kids as young as five. This violation of basic medical ethics is not only disgraceful, but dangerous in the long term.

It is becoming increasingly important to look for doctors and other medical professionals who share your philosophy and outlook in achieving your well-being. If this approach upsets the woke establishment's lockstep demand for uniformity and control, so be it.

But there is more to this growing distrust of the medical establishment than just COVID-related topics. The American Medical Association recently voted in favor of removing a designation of a baby's sex from birth certificates. The American Academy of Pediatrics encourages pediatricians to ask about gun ownership in the home on the grounds that this will somehow contribute to the patient's good health.

It is well past time for Americans to wake up and realize that the institutions that we used to trust without question and the professionals that we held in the highest esteem are not what they used to be. We once again need to take responsibility to do our own research for our personal well-being. And most of all, we need to put our love of liberty, as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has so aptly put it, ahead of our fear of a germ.
