Hi thanks for the tip! I can't even pull up a quote yet on Trading View which is where I chart. It looks very interesting and that is a heck of a return!.

In the past years I have aged out of mutual funds. In other words, I converted my 401K into an unrestricted IRA. So that is how I am getting my crypto exposure with both coins and ETFs.

I will mention this over on this board. One of the regulars there still has a portion in mutual funds.

anyone want to share finds? found a mutual fund for bitcoin btcfx. am up 48% in 1 month but only had 5 k on it. just doubled at least for the months of november and dec. psprx is an anchor and etnex is the other. have 7 funds as diversified as possible in things other than cyclical. any other strategies? up only 8% this year.. tough going for sure.

Hey stiv, I saw your post at Drummer and Missy's about your Keto. I am not "paid", so replying here. About a year and a half ago. I got on Keto. In a month and 1/2 I reduced my glipizide from 15 mg to 5 mg and lost 15 pounds and the beauty of that was that I was not trying to lose weight and was not much over weight to start with. I admit I have back tracked a bit, put 5 pounds back on, but still at 5 mg of glipizide. I still cheat with too many sweets. I got to get focused again.

The first thing my doc said when I lost 15 and reduced my meds was "we might have to get you back on statins", then next visit, "blood pressure meds". I refused both from that pill pusher.

Hey, I am thinking of going back to Drummer and Missy's too.

I was early in early April with BEARX. The market seemed/is at another turning point. Don't know if small or big or not at all, but it has prompted me to look at some bear market mutual funds.

For those who mainly have a mutual fund portfolio - due to 401k's for example - this board is intended to highlight and collect information and opinion on short and alternative mutual funds.

Any input is appreciated.

The objective of this board is to identify and track mutual funds which specialize in returns that are inverse of current markets, indices or instruments such as the S&P 500, Russell 2000, Emerging Markets, Bonds, etc.
In addition, certain alternate mutual funds will be covered such as for a strengthening or weakening dollar.

Mutual Funds are not an ideal investment choice due to fees, trading restrictions, holding periods, etc. However, they may play an important part in certain portfolios such as a 401K.

Please use appropriate due dilligence to make sure a short mutual fund fits your investing objectives and risk tolerance.
