Quadra Realty Trust is a REIT (real estate investment trust) with its fingers in more than four pies. Created in 2006, the commercial REIT specializes in mortgage investments such as construction loans, bridge loans, mezzanine loans, B notes, loan participations, fixed and floating rate whole loans, and preferred equity in commercial real estate. Quadra Realty is externally managed and advised by Hypo Real Estate Capital, a subsidiary of Germany-based Hypo Real Estate Holding AG. President and CEO Evan Denner and the rest of Quadra's executive officers all hail from its parent company (also referred to as its "manager").
