In the under-appreciated Chinese-Growth-Stock sector, CNYD is the most under-appreciated:

1. CNYD has a GUARANTEED MONOPOLY (unlike OINK, LLEN, ZSTN, GFRE, CCLTF).

2. There is NO NEED FOR SPECULATION that sales of its product will grow (unlike CNAM, BWOW, GHII).

3. Is NOT DEPENDENT on a few # of customers, suppliers, and/or account recievable (unlike CNIT, TSTC). It sells directly to the end consumer.

We know that traders sometimes miss the big picture, but I think even value investors are missing the potential as well. Yes, the PE might be a bit higher than other (but not all) companies in this sector. But, looking at the big picture this company should (and will) command a much higher stock price.

Of course, I'm not putting down any of the other companies mentioned as I own many of them ... I just think CNYD is very special.

I wonder what is up? If this sale is out of the way, perhaps the stock can lift....but for every buyer, there is a seller. Hopefully, more details will become apparent with a filing or two in the next week.

The transaction accounts for 2.5% (roughly) of the FDS count, so if its an initial purchase, it won't be enough to trigger a 13G filing....but if the seller holds more than 5%, they will have to update their holdings soon.

Have been away and only just seen the report you posted of your visit you made to CNYD. Glad you could make it in the end and thank you very much for for asking the questions and posting the info gained.

As the price and recent situation regarding accountants etc have been particularly poor of late it is good to hear some first hand news most of which is very positive.

I have to say that from my viewpoint information flow is very disappointing especially regarding the recent flooding. Following the official notice saying that GGL was closed for instance there was nothing as far as I am aware.

I understand that there was some subsequent flooding but had no news regarding restructuring, partial or full opening, final cost of work to get it back up and running etc. Also no info on the run up to the Yunding opening and no official announcement as far as I know even though it is now open!

You would have thought that keeping investors / those interested informed would have been beneficial in buoying the share price in the circumstances rather than leaving everything shrouded in mystery where people only assume the worst if nothing is said.

Don't know if anything along the lines of the above was mentioned during your meeting?

Yida has a great business. The recent weakness of stock price may be both the result of overall weakness of China Small cap space and the resignation of its auditor.

I do not know how long the overhang will last. The distrust in this space will not disappear overnight.

Granted Yunding grand opening this month should explain the expected 300K. But if they can do 300k in first four months of 2010, projecting 500K visitors for all of 2011 does seem like a low call. Maybe they expect more flooding next year, lol ?
