Liminal Biosciences Inc.’s stock LMNL, -4.23% soared 91% in premarket trade Wednesday, after the company said it’s received an unsolicited takeover offer of $7.50 a share from Structured Alpha LP. That company already owns 64% of the outstanding stock and is now bidding for the rest. The stock closed Tuesday at $3.62. Liminal specializes in discovering and developing novel and distinctive small molecule therapeutics to treat metabolic, inflammatory and fibrotic diseases. The board will review the offer and has formed a special committee of independent directors.

Peter Thomson and his goons outright lied and deceived thousands of investors in order to steal this company! He has also denied children and families life saving treatments out of pure greed!!! These investors, now plaintiffs, knew this company intimately for 20 years, it had the potential for Billions and Thomson also knew that. He wanted it for his family at the expense of many. Do you think he will cut off his right arm and now pay plaintiffs for what he stole to save his reputation, or throw his goons under the bus and still pay? Either way this publicly traded company is in their final chapter thanks to his unethical business practises.

Hello Guys, I'm new here.

Recently I read an interview with Pierre Laurin and Michel Carignan(CEO Prometic Life Canada and /The Swing Trading Show) about a fibrinogen deal, which is expected in the first half of this year?I remember it well because I was overwhelmed.
Could any board member confirm this for me or indicate that it is still current? If this is right, this could any time.
And is it likely that share will rise?
