Western Copper’s Yukon Gold-Copper Project is Seriously Undervalued

Western Copper and Gold’s TSX:WRN Yukon Casino project has the goods: proven and probable resources of 4.5 billion pounds copper, 8.3 million ounces gold, 60.6 million ounces silver and 494 million pounds molybdenum. But Western has a problem. “It’s the market,” says President/COO Paul West-Sells. “If you think about it, were trading at one-tenth of the value of our asset.”

Acquired by Western in 2006, Casino comprises 13,124 hectares located 380 kilometres northwest of Whitehorse and 560 kilometres northwest of Skagway, Alaska. It is, West-Sells says, “a very, very large porphyry deposit: 2.7 billion tonnes of ore. Interestingly, it is a weathered porphyry, so it has a supergene in the cap and a hypergene in the delineation. So this is different than deposits you see in British Columbia and a bit more similar to what you see in Arizona and Chile.”

!7 grams per ton is a great grade of gold, and by early june the results come back for the the new drills kam is heading in the right direction its time to just sit back and watch just how high the s/p reaches

yea those are questions I want the answer to also haha.

And you are right about silver, it is going up faster in %'s then gold ever can. I think silver can reach over $60 an ounce by year's end.

I do not have a position in this company as of yet, not enough information for me to dive in.

How fast can that gold make it to the market and the cost of getting it out of the ground also.

I believe we are headed higher for gold prices but silver seems to have higher potential from what I have heard.

Well I only have a little bit more, kinda through that up in a hurry. I've been doing alot of DD on this company. One of their drill zones has a sampling of about 17grams/ton of gold which is decent. Especially since gold is over $1400 an ounce.

The company has already located 8 major discoveries in just the first year of drilling. A company press release stated, "Drill testing of soil targets in 2010 resulted in several high–grade gold discoveries..." Amazingly, they have a 100% success rate when drilling for gold on their property, which is unheard of in the mining industry. But as 20–year mining expert, James West says... "[The company's] project exhibits an almost identical, and very compelling, geo–chemical signature to the one that led to Underworld's gold discovery." And, remember, Underworld made investors a quick 970%. Altogether, the company's 8 discoveries are estimated to contain around 1.5 million ounces worth of gold – the same amount of gold Underworld found! But that's not even the best part: The initial 8 gold discoveries occurred on just a fraction of the company owned land – 90% of the property remains unexplored. In other words, this company's operations are still in the very early stages of exploration and production. And that's why the company's share price is still so cheap. However, once word gets out to the investing masses I think you're going to see this small company's share price soar in the coming months. Better still, this company has no debt, $25 million in cash, and as the CEO says, "[We've] started to plan a much larger exploration program for 2011." I cannot emphasize this strongly enough: These types of opportunities only come around once every 40 to 50 years. Most people are lucky if they get to see one in their lifetime, let alone have the chance to participate in it. Before the company starts drilling early this year – on the other 90% of their land – and makes even more discoveries, I think it's a no–brainer to invest in this tiny company today.
