Today is a special day, its an anniversary.Today it is exactly 1 year ago that OMINTO under the dubious leadership of serial scamster Michael Brydesvold Hansen were to file the annual report for 2016. (yes its more that a year overdue). No reports since then, only 2 "hired-guns" at the board now that all the thieves have left the sinking ship. No accountants, no sales, only illegal activities Ominto is a certified ponzi-scheme

It is beyond reason that the SEC has not demanded af cease and desist order against Ominto. And it is indeed extraordinarily strange that Michael Hansen is not behind bars..

Fraud, theft and scam, that is the solid basis of Michael Hansens Ominto.

So I opened account at AMTD just to play these nontraditional opportunities. Unfortunately I funded it but money won't be available for use till Friday, likely defeating the time-sensitive purpose. I guess I could have done wire but didn't think of it that much. Hopefully I will still have a part of the action here by Friday.

If you consider that the last reported revenue, and the company now trades for about $3 million considering only 9 million float. Even in that float insiders own almost half. Well. That must have been an interesting day for OMNT shareholders. It was pretty apparent that the stock only ever got listed on NASDAQ as a result of financial hocus-pocus. I guess that they weren't able to get an accounting firm that was willing to sign off on this, and for a few months now it's been apparent that delisting would happen sooner or later. And today was later.

Now, about that big bonus Michael Hanson received for getting the company listed on NASDAQ -- Is he planning to give it back?

congratulations, now at least the company has an accountant . Today Michael Scamster Hansen appointed Friedman LLP as principal accountant. And boy, are they off to a busy start; not only will they have to audit the catastrophic last quarter ended june 30th but they must also correct the inaccuracies in the previous reprots - as well as prepare the yearly report.

Deadline is october 23rd... otherwise Ominto could and should be delisted

On October 3, 2017, Ominto, Inc. (the “Company”) engaged Friedman LLP (“Friedman”) as our principal independent registered public accounting firm. Item 4.01 Change in Registrant’s Certifying Accountant.

On August 24, 2017, the Board of Directors of Ominto, Inc. (the “Company”) notified Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC (“MBAF”) that it was dismissing MBAF as the Company’s principal independent registered public accounting firm effective immediately. The decision to dismiss MBAF was recommended by our Audit Committee and approved by our Board of Directors.

Since MBAF’s engagement by the Company, MBAF has not completed any interim reviews or issued any reports on the financial statements of the Company.

During MBAF's engagement by the Company, there were no disagreements with MBAF on: (i) any matter of accounting principles or practices or (ii) financial statement disclosure or auditing scope or procedure. MBAF raised concern with certain material weaknesses in internal control over financial reporting and with certain issues which may impact prior period financial statements, however, no resolution or conclusions over these reportable events were reached at the time of MBAF's termination.

The Company has provided MBAF with a copy of the disclosure in this Item 4.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K prior to its filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission and requested that MBAF furnish us with a letter addressed to the SEC stating whether or not it agrees with the statements made herein. A copy of the letter provided from MBAF is filed as Exhibit 16.1 to this Current Report.
