True Story....Recently I was talking to a friend of mine, He had a job as a part time custodian at the Aurora Public schools in Colorado, He Applied for a full time position at one of the schools, the school where he at the time was working half time was approx. 85% spanish speaking students.........The school he Applied to was about 60% spanish speaking.....When he applied he was asked if he spoke spanish.....He said no and was DENIED the Position!

He then Applied at another school within the Aurora Public School District....He was hired! He Met the HEAD CUSTODIAN....She DOES NOT SPEAK a word of ENGLISH!! Later he Met the PRINCIPAL of the School and She Began Speaking to him in SPANISH! My Friend Indicated to her he did not speak spanish and she stated "what? You do not speak spanish?" My Friend stated no I do not.......The PRINCIPAL of an AURORA PUBLIC SCHOOL in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA then stated......"You may want to consider learning Spanish as that is MY language!"

I about fell out of my chair when he told me that story.....He has worked in the school system for some time now and his wife does as well, they stated the ENGLISH speaking kids are now at a disadvantage in the schools and the GRADES are dropping due to the emphasis being on the spanish speaking kids vs the English speaking ones......states a majority of the information posted on classroom walls is now in spanish.......and Remember Folks....School Districts are Not allowed to ask if a kid is Here ILLEGALLY, if they live in the DISTRICT...they Get to go to school in your district...on your tax payer dollars........
