Mr. Scott has been Chairman Emeritus of Peter Kiewit Sons', Inc. ("PKS") since 1998. Mr. Scott is also a director of PKS, Berkshire Hathaway Inc., MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company and Valmont Industries, Inc.

("MFS") from June 1993 to June 1997. Mr. Crowe also served as Chairman of the Board of WorldCom from January 1997 until July 1997, and as Chairman of the Board of MFS from 1992 through 1996.
