Death Drop (DD) stocks are ones that have had a SERIOUS drop in price in the last 3-5 days.

They need to drop 30% in 3 days, or 50% in 5 days to make the list.

When they go back up, they are removed from the DD List.

The idea is that these have a semi good chance of bouncing.

Could have called it 'Phoenix Rising Possibilities' I suppose, but Death Drop has such a nice ring doesn't it?

This all started when I decided it would be better to try to get in at the bottoms of runs, instead of trying to get into the MOMO runs before they topped out.

So I started looking at the day's biggest losers , looking for a good place to get in.

Then I found a place to download end of day data for free (www.eoddata.com ), and wrote this scanning program using Delphi 5.

Please post any errors, ideas for improvement, and whatever else you want about anything..............z

How to post charts:

Meatloaf has recently updated the post process, so now it's much easier to add a chart or image.

Basics: Once you have an image displayed in your browser(right click, view image), you copy/paste the address out of your location bar and get rid of the http://www part. Enclose that image address link between (chart) ......link.......(/chart):

Change ( to [, and ) to ]. Change MRKL/RYQG to your symbol. See below.

Revision History:

v. 6.70. Changed price cutoff from .0008 to .0005.

v. 6.65 - Added Watts. This is the dollars traded (Pressure)
divided by the hi/lo range and normalized. High Watts means a lot
of ducats were traded with not much movement up or down.....

Also put decimal back on Pressure (this makes it easier to read if you remember that Pressure and Power have a decimal).

NASDAQ stocks that go up >5% get dropped.

v. 6.50 - Changed program so that if a stock has become a DD,
it will remain on the scan list until it has increased in
price by at least 10%. Let me know what you all think about this.

v. 6.20 - Gave back the decimal to Power..it needs it..

v. 6.15 - Increased Volts factor.

v. 6.10 - Added Voltage (Volts), got rid of decimals.

v. 5.31 - Changed Gorgeous to the G-Spot..he he

v. 5.30 - Added Gorgeous. This is the number of days in a row that it's been going down/staying even.

Ok might as well put one of these in here also. Basically I will only address 3 issues:

#1 If you go by what we say here and buy some stock and lose your kids college fund, DO NOT come crying to us. We are all big boys and girls here and hopefully take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for our actions. Make your OWN decisions and take responsibility for them!.

#2 I myself am sick to death of all the political 'correctness' pervading our country. SO if you are easily offended by lack of such PC, this board is not for you..go elsewhere. And if I ever find the sonofabitch that changed Junior High School to 'Middle School', I'm gonna shoot 'em...lol.. z
