OTC trading is most often a game of sheep and sheppards.
The sheppards make the big money, and the sheep (the followers) get the cookie crumbs. Many years ago, I used to be one of the sheep… scrambling to make a few pennies on my trading while the heard leaders raked in the big money. It's the sheppard's game, and most of us trade on their graces.
Most BIG BUDGET promoters fire off their HOT ALERT in the morning, shortly after the opening bell of trading… unleashing the ticker in to the heard.
Guess who knows the ticker before crowd (most times)? I DO!
I KNOW the ticker BEFORE the herd- often even the night or day before!
In a lot of situations, I am usually able to buy about 30-45 minutes before the crowd thanks to the big $$$ that I pay for my services.
ALWAYS remember to TAKE PROFITS and RUN. The gambler in you might want that 500% hit, but what's wrong with 100% and exiting while there's still liquidity? A bird in hand…
ALMOST EVERY OTC stock is a PUMP and DUMP (if not everyone). A "company" that gets a 4 letter ticker symbol and a CUSIP number is a stock. Often these companies have big debt, and ton of skeletons in the closet. They are ALL a BIG GAMBLE!
NEVER PLAY WITH MONEY YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE!
In my honest opinion, 1 out of 1,000 OTC stocks turn out to be a REAL company with REAL substance. This 1% of OTC companies might represent an actual investment, but your odds of finding one are EXTREMELY RARE!
