On December 8, 2010, Mr. Steven M. Plumb, age 51, was appointed to serve as the Company’s chief financial officer (“CFO”). Mr. Plumb is a CPA licensed to practice in Texas. Mr. Plumb is a financial manager and senior executive experienced in operations, finance and marketing. Mr. Plumb is the president of Clear Financial Solutions, Inc. a business consulting firm that assists public and private companies with financing, operations improvement, outsourced accounting, SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and financial analysis. From 2005 to 2009 Mr. Plumb served as the chief financial officer of Hyperdynamics Corp. and from 2002 through 2004, Mr. Plumb served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Adventrx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to this, Mr. Plumb served as the Chief Financial Officer of DePelchin Children's Center, and as controller of Memorial City Rehabilitation Hospital in Houston, Texas. Mr. Plumb is a former auditor and consultant with KPMG. Mr. Plumb earned his BBA degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. In connection with his appointment, Mr. Plumb will be compensated $2,500 per month.

Bering exploration was OCOL. They just had a ticker change. I like this one. I am trying to build a portfolio that is not all based on sub pennies to go along with my sub penny stuff.

Bering Exploration Announces Its South Texas Prospect Has Tested Positive for Oil

HOUSTON, Nov. 30, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Bering Exploration, Inc., (Pink Sheets: OCOL) announced today that its South Texas prospect has tested positive for oil in its initial test phase. This well was drilled to a depth of approximately 10,000 feet to test the Oligocene Frio trend and the initial test has proven that one of the lower zones has tested positive for oil. Further testing is required to determine if this zone will be commercially viable. This prospect originally had potential gross reserves of 5,000,000 barrels of oil and 46 BCF of natural gas. Bering's interest is a 5% working interest after pay out in this prospect.
The company recently announced that it has entered into a Letter of Intent to participate in a new prospect located in the Gulf Coast area that has potential gross reserves of 120 BCF of natural gas and up to 10 million barrels of oil. Based upon recent prices this equates to a total of $1.3 billion dollars in potential gross revenue of which Bering's working interest would be 2.5% or $23 million, or $0.99 per share, over the life of the prospect. There is no guarantee that this prospect will be successful or that these numbers will be achieved due to production and/or price fluctuations.

Bering's interest is a 5% working interest after pay out in this prospect.

Based upon the estimates by the originating geologist, it is estimated that this prospect could have potential reserves of 5,000,000 barrels of oil and 46 BCF of gas, which equates to a total of $558,000,000 in future gross revenue at today's prices of $76.00 per barrel of oil and $3.88 per Mcf of gas. There is no guarantee that this prospect will be successful or that these numbers will be achieved due to production and/or price fluctuations. Bering's net revenue interest would equate to approximately 4% of the gross revenue and production figures discussed in this release, or approximately $22M.
