Patrick Bertagna - CEO, Founder and Chairman
Mr. Bertagna is the Chairman, President, CEO and founder of Global Trek Xploration (GTX) and co-inventor of the patented GPS Footwear technology. His career spans 27+ years in building companies in both technology and consumer branded products
Mr. Bertagna began his career in consumer products importing apparel from Europe and later went on to import and manufacture apparel, accessories and footwear in over 20 countries, with sales exceeding 27 million to US retailers from JC Penny's to Neiman Marcus. In 1993 Mr. Bertagna transitioned into technology and founded Barcode World, Inc. a supply chain software company, enabling accurate tracking of consumer products from design to retail. Within 4 years the company had over 450 premier branded accounts with a staff of 40 plus in the US, Eastern Europe and India. After selling his company Mr. Bertagna then combined his two past careers (consumer products and tracking technology) and founded GTXC.
Mr. Bertagna was born in the South of France and is fluent in French and Spanish, has formed alliances with Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, AT&T, Sports Authority, Federated Stores, Netscape and GE. Has been a keynote speaker and has been awarded several patents.
Patrick Aroff – Director
Mr. Aroff has won numerous awards nationally and internationally for marketing, design, advertising and art direction. Patrick has worked and held positions in every facet of marketing and advertising. His results driven solutions include successful marketing campaigns for literally every type of product and service. From problem solving, strategic positioning, management, creative direction, brand development, new product launches, traditional, online and direct response. Furthermore, Mr. Aroff has produced and directed commercials for television and radio.
After leaving a successful advertising career of 18 years in 2003, Mr. Aroff started a residential and commercial real estate development company, currently with over $20 million in sales and $40 million in development.
In 2004 Mr. Aroff founded Encore Brands LLC. In 2005 Encore applied for and received trademark, label and formula approval for the brand Ecstasy Liqueur. Launched in Q4 2006 it is the worlds first Premium Enhanced Spirit, currently available in 7 states with sales exceeding 1MM in 2007.
He received his education at the Art Center College Of Design in Pasadena and has garnered numerous awards during his career, including: Clio, Belding, New York Ad Club, Best in the West, Cannes International Ad Festival, and an OBIE.
Louis Rosenbaum – Co-Founder & Director
Mr. Rosenbaum is a Founder of GTXC and his initial investment in GTXC constituted the company’s first substantial funding event. Louis is and has been a valued advisor to the company through the years.
As the president of Advanced Environmental Services, his responsibilities are supervising all administrative and financial activities; including all contractual aspects of the business. Mr. Rosenbaum estimates projects and prepares bids, assists in sales and maintains his own client base. Mr. Rosenbaum has been working in the environmental & waste disposal industry for the past eighteen years. He started with Allied Waste Services, a division of Eastern Environmental (purchased by Waste Management Inc. on 1998) in 1990.
Mr. Rosenbaum has been a serial entrepreneur. Mr. Rosenbaum founded (1978 - 1987) and was President of Elements, a successful clothing manufacturer that produced a line of upscale women’s clothing in Hong Kong, China, Korea and Italy. He has been active in many civic administration roles over the years in and around Stinson Beach, CA and is the father of six children.
Greg Provenzano
Mr. Provenzano has spent over 25 years in the electronic components and design solutions business. Greg is currently Vice President, Sales and Engineering Solutions at WPG Americas, the North American division of WPG holdings a $6B company with 3500 employees that is the largest distributor in Asia. Greg also served as Senior Vice President and Regional President of Memec Americas (now an AVNET Electronics company) beginning July 2002. The Americas had revenue of $2B a year and had 1000 employees. From 1997 until 2002, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Memec Insight, Inc., a former U.S. subsidiary, and joined the company in 1986 as Area Director for Memec Insight, Inc.Greg holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. Andrew Duncan
Andrew Duncan has been working in the consumer electronics and technology licensing business for over 20 years.Since 2006 he has been the CEO of ClearPlay International a software licensing company and prior to that position, founded Global TechLink Consultants Inc. a technology consultancy company, specializing in technology licensing, multimedia, communication and application technology on a global basis, including Interactive TV, Digital downloads/streaming and Consumer Electronics.
From 1994 to 2001, Mr. Duncan worked as Vice President Consumer Electronics for Gemstar TV Guide International (Los Angeles USA). His responsibilities included product development, business management, licensing and marketing a portfolio of multimedia licensed features including the highly successful VCRPlus+ and Electronic Program Guide – TVGuidePlus+.
Mr. Duncan has lived and worked in Germany, France and his native U.K. in various Pan –European marketing and global product development roles. He also has a deep experience of business relations and markets in both Asia and South America.
Mr. Duncan earned his honors degree in Chemistry from Nottingham University and postgraduate qualifications in Marketing and Direct Marketing from London University (Kings College). He also has a Certificate of Business Management from the Anderson School of Business UCLA (USA). He speaks some basic German and French.

Advancing its global footprint and generating new revenues for both companies, GTX Corp’s GPS technology platform is being commercialized by PEACE OF MIND FOR LATINAMERICA SA de CV, headquartered in Cancun Mexico. The Company signed a licensing agreement with Peace of Mind, followed by its first order and will begin shipping this month. GTX Corp has been selling hardware into Mexico since 2009 but this will be the first time the actual GTX Corp middleware and portal platform will be localized in Spanish and commercialized in Mexico.
