The Company produces, markets and distributes a range of breads, buns, rolls, croutons, stuffing, snack cakes, donuts and related products under national brand names, such as Wonder, Home Pride, Hostess and Dolly Madison, as well as regional brand names, such as Merita, Butternut and Drake’s. IBC operates 41 bakeries and approximately 600 distribution centers, from which its sales force delivers fresh baked goods on approximately 6,000 delivery routes. The Company also operates approximately 740 bakery outlets located in markets throughout the United States. During the fiscal year ended May 31, 2008 (fiscal 2008), IBC introduced Hostess 100 Calorie Pack products on a national basis, including blueberry streusel muffins, banana streusel muffins and cinnamon streusel coffee cake.
