And that's to your private message to me this today. I honestly could care less what you think. I sold the stock not 5 minutes after I ended that July 28 call. Although my information may be from an outdated conversation, the underlying tone/message, as it relates to the core of the company and its board, is timeless.

There was more to the conversation but I wanted to leave it factual and leave opinion out.

So since the daggers are out, let me make a prediction and I hope to be wrong for the sake of all longs in this name that are here because they believe in the future potential of a breath diagnostic device.

I would bet that 6 months from now, Breathtec will pivot strategically, drop further work on the breath analysis device, and acquire some other company in a completely different sector and sell a new vision. But this will probably happen as part of a new PP at a deeply discounted price where friends and family will be allowed to participate. This is not investment advice. I'm now just opining on what will happen based on my, as AMG said, "outdated BS post @ Btec". So once again, YOU ARE WELCOME.

- There are issues with the device - high voltage generates high current and fries the low voltage side, have been trying but can't seem to fix it

I have what is probably a dumb question.

Does everyone holding this stock assume the company is still on track to develop a breath diagnostic device?

I'd assumed with the multi-months of delays and now the termination of the CEO, that this quest of nut turned out to bee too tough to crack. I have no inside knowledge of this to be true but it's my working assumption.

So if my conjecture above is true, why is anyone still holding the sister company that is trying to use precisely the same technology to do something similar to BTH? I mean there is a lot of air between where it's currently trading and zero.

An update to the Human Clinical Trial Timeline was posted a few days ago.

This is an update to the study registered by the https://clinicaltrials.gov web site what was initially posted in this post.

The updated information is accessible here:

The updated dates indicate that study is set to commence on October 1, 2017. I'm not certain whether this update was triggered by any developments on the IRB approval front (i.e. an imminent approval) or an update in the normal course as the dates were stale.

Management has indicated the IRB should be approved this month so hopefully it is the former, not the latter.

Continuing to chase the elusive IRB approval, but it really appears that management has an inside track on it being approved in early Q3 (i.e. July or basically next month). Continuing to monitor this promising story develop.

Couldn't agree more. Development of working mouthpiece and Zika biomarker identification are key items to track progress on (monthly reports for now).

Also keep an eye on potential licensing deals but I suspect this may happen only once company can show proof of concept on FAIMS.

That is what I believe is the path forward at this juncture.

The potential end-use applications of this technology are virtually limitless. You can slice up the licensing nine ways to Sunday.

You need to, of course, structure said licensing in a way where profit sharing benefits both licensor and BTH if the technology moves to commercial use while in the hands of the licensor.

Of course controlling the license becomes too valuable at some point for the licensor not to possess. So the inevitable acquisition transpires.

It is no longer a question of if FAIMS works. Current prototype able to measure at level of PPM - Parts Per Million. Which is all you need for disease detection.

The challenge now is to pick an area of interest and dedicate resources in applying FAIMS to address that area. Given limited resources the company can't do everything at once. It needs to find a niche. It can contemplate licensing technology to others for alternative applications.

Agreed that they will likely not make it to market as Breathtec, but as for your second comment regarding this type of technology not being cheap, remember that when it comes to publicly traded companies, it's the shareholder's that vote/decide on what a fair price is.

If a hostile party (or friendly one for that matter) comes along and makes a run at BTH, they can offer shareholders C$0.26/sh for a buyout at this time (100% markup to the 30 day average trading price). If there is a sufficient number of shareholders to vote in favour of that, then that's going to be the price that everyone receives for the takeover.

Don't forget that you have Kal out there (and friends and family) that have millions of shares at C$0.075/sh. So an offer by a buyer to pay them C$0.26/sh today would seem like a pretty nice payout (don't forget warrants get triggered too on a takeover).

Always remember:

1) The best defense to a takeover is a high share price
2) The best way to maximize shareholder value in a buyout situation is to start with a high share price

Given the above and were we sit now, we have some work to do...
