I knew from the git go that this guy was full of shit, but decided to play it out. He said he was from Microsoft in London, England, and my windows registration has identified numerous errors being sent to them multiple times a day, indicating a very bad virus.

First off, I have never registered windows, I buy used computers with a valid windows licence registered by someone else.

Long story short, after 45 minutes playing the idiot that doesn't know right clic from left clic and I was pretty sure he was about to get to his sales pitch, I told him, I have to leave right now for work, call me back in 4 hours.

The guy says "we've been talking for 45 minutes and you just remembered you have to go to work?"

Told him no, I knew I had to go back to work 45 minutes ago, just didn't know that some asshole would call to waste my entire lunch hour talking shit.

After a 2 month struggle, J T passed away.

I knew him as Joe in thestockpit and always went to him for auto and electrical repair advice.

He was a great guy and will be missed.

Was in the kitchen cooking and things weren't going well, phone starts ringing, aw fuck that's gonna burn, ring, turn that off, ring, aw shit, ring, ok get the phone, ring, ring, r... got it just before it went to voice mail.

Before I can say anything I hear a woman talking a mile a minute, already on the 3rd sentence of her sales pitch. She obviously started talking before I even answered the damn phone.

I tried to digest a few seconds of her 200 mile an hour speech and finally yelled STOP! Think I scared her, she did stop. Told her I'll take 2, send it to the usual address.

Then hung up.

No idea what she was selling and I think she's still trying to figure out what to do next.

Don't know if you glanced at that video, it shows exactly how to get the job done, all the while saying NOT to do the job yourself.

I imagined all sorts of scenarious where the whole thing would go horrbly wrong, from me getting electricuted to the dryer turning into molten slag.

but it works fine for a cost of 9 euros and now I know how to fix a dryer.

Now that it is fixed it has stopped raining, a heatwave has moved in and I may never need the dryer for the forseeable future
