QUICK PICKUP
Within 48-hours of Scrap USA receiving your service call or notifying us that your location requires a switch-out, a truck will be dispatched with an empty container(s) to switch-out the filled container(s) at your location. The empty container(s) are dropped and the filled container(s) are removed. Scrap USA's truck driver will provide your location with a receipt for the filled container once removed.
ALL TYPES OF METAL
Once Scrap USA's container is delivered to your automotive service center location, place the scrap metal materials (i.e. brake drums, brake rotors, steel wheel weights, shock absorbers, struts, brake pads, steel wheels, aluminum wheels, radiators, transmissions, catalytic converters and other miscellaneous scrap metal(s) into the container
FREE PICKUP
Scrap USA will pickup the container each month unless your location requires additional service (i.e. once per week, two times per month, etc). Should the container be full and in need of a switch-out for an empty, dial the toll-free telephone number listed on your container @ 1-877-GO4-JUNK.
FREE CONTAINERS
Drop off and pickup of Scrap USA containers are @ no charge.
CERTIFIED WEIGHT TICKETS
Scrap USA's trucks haul the scrap metal materials received from your location to one of our designated warehouse facilities for processing. The container(s) are weighed with the certified weight ticket sent to Scrap USA's Accounting Department for further processing. All received scrap metal materials are processed at our designated warehouse facilities for proper handling in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
QUICK PAYMENT TO YOU
Once the received scrap metal materials and applicable paperwork are properly processed, Scrap USA provides you with a check coupled with applicable back-up documentation usually within 30 days of pickup.
NO ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
Scrap USA holds the participating location harmless from any environmental claims & assumes any and all liability should a problem arise.
