One Day Wonders Like One Hit Wonders in the music industry -- they don't last long. They flame out fast. Penny stocks are like that. We are talking moves of more than 500% UP in one day here. On HEAVY volume (not just 1 trade and $500 worth of shares)... These are moves that an individual stock is just never likely to see again. An outlier. A data anomaly. A freakish event. Get the picture? This happens sometimes on the following occasions: 1. The day before a bankrupt company stock is about to be cancelled. 2. The day after a stock reverse splits (rarely). 3. When a reverse merger is announced. 4. Or who the hell knows why -- and the answer is not known until days or weeks later. This message board is the post mortem for these One Day Wonders. What happened? Why did it jump? Why did people buy it? What happened on The Day After? And Forever After? Hindsight appreciated here!
