WXIDG, with $5 billion assets, bought 13 M shares at $2.08 - $4.35 in May and might privitalize LIWA. It might been buying all the rest shares in the markets.

No Illusions of Grandeur here.

I cut the loses and sold last Thursday moments after opening at $1 and $0.90 respectively (two different accounts). Most shareholders were unaware that it had resumed trading. Too bad, I had cancelled my market sell at open, or else I would have gotten out much higher than that. And now it's in the $0.25-$0.30 range.

While WUXI may have invested into LIWA to save face, make no mistake: the CCP has no plans to share their wealth with the likes of you. They only stepped in to save face and perhaps retain the business and intellectual property. They have no interest building shareholder value for foreigners.

Your best bet would have been to cash out last Thursday, but seeing as you're still posting about LIWA stock, that suggests you didn't get out and are stuck now. If you want to play the waiting game, I'd recommend selling at least some of your remaining portfolio to hedge against a total loss.

Investing in the bumps of a dead or dying company is very risky, but if you are correct and LIWA rises again, you will be richly rewarded. Gambling is for entertainment purposes only, so only invest what you can afford to safely lose.

Good and Bad, depending on how things play out.

So the latest news is that:

1. The supposed Wuxi Industry Development Group Co., Ltd indirectly owned Power Apex Holdings Ltd. has purchased 44% of the company from Mr. Zhu Jianhua (last name, first name - as is Chinese custom). If the alleged statements are true, as are all alleged statements with Lihua International, then this suggests that the Chinese government has something to do with it, as Wuxi Industry Development Group Co., Ltd is state owned.

No details of the transaction were shared, so for all we know, they paid 1¢/share or $1 million/share. We don't know. It just sounds a little fishy to me.

If Power Apex Holdings Ltd. is truly affiliated with the Wuxi Industry Development Group Co., Ltd as professed, then this might be a good thing for shareholders. However, if it's just snake oil like everything else Lihua International has provided investors up to date, then it will do nothing more than confuse the bag holders.

I've found very little substance on Power Apex Holdings Ltd, other than that it's apparently wholly owned by Henry Winata Karim by way of Pachmar Limited. I fail to see how this is controlled by Wuxi city government?

2. NASDAQ has issued a warning to delist the stock if the company fails to come up with an agreeable plan to address the missed filings.

This was due yesterday, and so far all we've seen or heard are crickets. I'm expecting NASDAQ or the company to file another announcement with the results once a decision has been made. Hopefully, this will be soon. Whether it gets delisted or not, shareholders just need some closure. If LIWA doesn't get delisted, then perhaps there's a chance that a successful audit and board action will recover some value for shareholders. If LIWA gets delisted, it will be a mad rush to sell on the pink sheets or grey market to short sellers wishing to cover and close their short positions, so whomever sells first will get to cash out.

This accounts for 44% of the company. Hard to say if this was a good or bad move, since none of the transaction details are shared.

I sincerely doubt LIWA will trade again anytime soon.

If and when it does, it will probably been on the pink sheets or grey market (probably latter). There's a small chance that if the company provides the required information NASDAQ asked for (not sure what that was exactly), then trading will resume on NASDAQ and shorts will cover their positions. Judging from the company's handling so far, however, they don't seem to care and aren't communicating with shareholders. This is why I'm not confident they plan on doing anything other than laughing all the way to the bank.

If the worse case scenario happens, brace for a likely total loss and prepare to sell when it opens for trading on which ever exchange. Make sure your brokerage allows trading of grey market stocks in case it comes down to that. You might recover a small amount on opening day when shorts cover their positions and buy back shares. After that, it's pretty much a dead stock.

NASDAQ should announce in advance when LIWA will become delisted, so keep your eyes open. Don't forget to sign up for the class action lawsuit.

Yup. Got it sorted out though. If it happens again and I see China/Hong Kong IP addresses again, I'm going to file reports with the local authorities and service providers. The analytics data shows the IP address of who visited the site, the referral URL, what the person looked at, and the time.
