General Cannabis Corporation offers various products and services to companies in the cannabis industry. The Company's integrated solution ranges from operational and compliance consulting to security and marketing to financing needs. The Company's segments include Security and Cash Management Services; Marketing and Products; Consulting and Advisory, and Finance and Real Estate. The Security and Cash Management Services segment includes the operations of Iron Protection Group, LLC. The Marketing and Products segment includes the operations of Chiefton Supply Co. (Chiefton), an apparel and design company. The Consulting and Advisory segment offers consulting services, such as obtaining licenses, compliance, cultivation and logistical support, to the cannabis industry through Next Big Crop. The Finance and Real Estate segment includes real estate leasing; Shared Office Space, Networking and Event Services, and Industry Finance and Equipment Leasing Services.

Chairman of the board

Mr. Feinsod is the Managing Member of Infinity Capital, LLC, an investment management company he founded in 1999. From 2006 through 2013, he served in various executive positions at Ameritrans Capital Corporation, a business development company. Mr. Feinsod served as a director of Ameritrans Capital from December 2005 until July 2013 and served as a director of its subsidiary, Elk Associates Funding Corporation, from December 2005 until April 2013. Mr. Feinsod served as an investment analyst and portfolio manager at Mark Boyar & Company, Inc., a broker-dealer. He is admitted to practice law in New York and served as an associate in the Corporate Law Department of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP. Mr. Feinsod holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. from George Washington University.

Mr. Boockvar is the Chief Market Analyst with The Lindsey Group, a macro economic and market research firm. He is also the Chief Investment Officer for Bookmark Advisors, an asset management firm. Prior to this, Peter spent a brief time at Omega Advisors, a New York based hedge fund, as a macro analyst and portfolio manager. Before this, he was an employee and partner at Miller Tabak + Co for 18 years where he was recently the equity strategist and a portfolio manager with Miller Tabak Advisors. He joined Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in 1992 in their corporate bond research department as a junior analyst. He is a CNBC contributor and appears regularly on their network. Peter graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.B.A. in Finance from George Washington University.

Robert Frichtel served as a managing partner of IBC Capital Group, a commercial real estate and finance company, from 2002 to June of 2013. Since 2010 Mr. Frichtel has consulted for numerous clients throughout the nation that are engaged in the medical marijuana business and has written articles for Bloomberg news regarding the cannabis industry. Between 1999 and 2001, Mr. Frichtel was the president and Chief Operating Officer of EOS Group, a division of Health Net, a NYSE listed healthcare company. Mr. Frichtel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University.

During his experience in Colorado’s medical marijuana system, Rich oversaw the construction and operations of multiple commercial cultivation facilities. He managed the construction and operations of Boulder Kind Care’s warehouse grows from 2009 – 2012. In the process, he developed cultivation techniques specific for large scale commercial warehouse grows. In 2012, Rich took over the retro-fitting of a 42,000 square foot greenhouse, the largest legal cannabis cultivation facility in the country at the time. Under his control, that greenhouse produced over a ton of high-grade medical marijuana in 2013. He formed Next Big Crop Consulting in 2013 to help clients by lending his expertise in cultivation design, construction and operations.

Hunter Garth joined the Marine Corps at the age of 19, and was leading teams in operations by the time he was 21. In fact his 21st birthday was spent leading a team in eastern Africa. He then came home and was sent to many different schools to build leadership qualities and operational skills. In 2011 he was sent to Helmand, Afghanistan and directly engaged in combat operations for 8 months. Participating in over 175 combat missions as a Designated Marksman for an Assault Platoon, these 8 months would prove the turning point for him. He was Honorably Discharged from the Marines in 2012 and two days later went to work in the corporate world at Merrill Lynch. Unhappy with his move, he decided to seek self driven success. He then moved to Colorado in order to start his own company, within 1 year he successfully started a protection firm and was nationally recognized through training programs and speaking engagements.

Jacob Kulchin

Jacob Kulchin is a driven, young entrepreneur with an eye for cannabis design and branding. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a emphasis on Operations Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014. Immediately after his education, Jacob began creating the foundation for a national cannabis apparel company. Armed by a lifelong passion of clothing and brand design, he quickly turned an idea into a reality with the launch of the Fall/Summer 2015 clothing line by Chiefton Supply Co. Focusing on quality fabrics, and innovative cannabis art, Chiefton has since developed into a multifaceted design and production agency, serving some of the biggest names in industry. You can find Jacob working away behind his desk at the GC Denver offices or on the Colorado slopes ripping turns and catching sky.

 

Shelly Whitson

Chief Accounting Officer

Shelly Whitson, prior to her appointment as Chief Accounting Officer, served as a consultant to General Cannabis Corporation in connection with the preparation of its financial reports. In addition, she served as the controller for Rocky Mountain Disposables, a small packaging firm in Denver, Colorado from June 2009 to March 2014, where she managed the firm’s financial operations. From July 2007 to June 2009, Ms. Whitson was employed as a staff accountant for Peterson & Scharf, a certified public accounting firm, where she maintained the financial records and prepared tax returns for many small to medium sized corporations and partnerships. In addition to her accounting background, she previously held a real estate broker’s license in both Colorado and Nevada where she sold both commercial and residential real estate. Ms. Whitson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Montana State University. Ms. Whitson is currently pursuing a Master’s degree of Accountancy at Colorado State University.
