OUR BUSINESS
FutureVest makes strategic equity and equity-related investments in small and medium-sized companies in a variety of industries worldwide. The company relies upon a focused investment criteria, early stage funding opportunities, and potential exit strategies before any investment is initiated. FutureVest's two operating divisions, Capital Investments and Venture Services, allows the Company to enter an investment at the earliest possible stage and assist in the management of the investment to ensure the goals of FutureVest are met. The operating divisions also ensure that maximum returns are achieved for shareholders.
The business goal of FutureVest is to build a leading global organization that combines established early stage funding with innovative entrepreneurial companies. FutureVest plans to achieve this objective through a combination of synergistic investments and organic expansion of these portfolio companies.
We serve as active directors of our portfolio companies by working closely with, and in support of, management. FutureVest believes that our relationship with entrepreneurs is based on a partnership whose ultimate goal is building a successful business. This partnership enables us to work with our management teams to deliver superior returns to our shareholders.
BUSINESS STRATEGIES
FutureVest employs an investment strategy that has been successfully executed over many years. This strategy is designed to achieve appropriate returns relative to risk and maximizing value through intensive post investment management assistance. Five themes define this strategic approach:
Industry Focus: Although the firm does not confine its investments to specific industries, it has historically favored particular industries and situations that enable FutureVest to fully capitalize on its experience, resources and relationships.
Thorough Due Diligence: FutureVest bases its investment decisions on extensive due diligence reviews to help minimize the risks associated with early stage funding.
Sustained Earnings Growth: FutureVest invests in companies that are positioned for sustained earnings momentum through secular growth, consolidation or other fundamental growth opportunities.
Portfolio Management: After an investment is made, FutureVest professionals monitor the company's development by appointing advisors to serve on the company's Board of Directors. FutureVest will do everything necessary to maximize shareholder returns.
Add-on Acquisitions: Consistent with FutureVest's growth orientation, the Company will seek to purchase companies as platform investments, then to enhance those platforms through internal growth and add-on acquisitions as the lead and majority investor.
