I feel silly even writing it lol
LOL.....not sure. i'm really not, but the cheese scene in the movie is fall on the floor funny.
but what is significant about cheese is what I mean.
cheese bits? hmmmmmm, yes, i watched all his deleted scenes on youtube that i could find.
i am struggling to remember the cheese; except in the movie...now that is hysterical.
it is that damn good!
Started to add a bit...will do more after the market closes
They knew it was for the series, but he wasn't really popular back then. The questions were spontaneous,,,,funny thing was is that they left in the part where he said, "Even the Queen let's wind"...My friend thought that would have been edited out.
comcast has the series on on demand, which I watch from time to time. I haven't figured out what the deal is with his cheese bits. Do you know? p.s. I was watching deleted scenes from the movie yesterday and there was a cheese one.
Classic film... This was my favorite comedy I've seen in years!
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
HBO was airing his episodes last night, i kept switching back and forth from MNF.
i have the DVD's, but friends are now borrowing them because of the overnight success (because most didn't know about him).

Borat: Bigger Than Santa Clause!
Source: Box Office Mojo, Edward Douglas November 6, 2006
The ComingSoon.net Box Office Report has been updated with studio estimates for the weekend. Be sure to check back on Monday for the final figures based on actual box office.
This weekend, the guy bringing presents wasn't wearing a red suit, he was wearing a gray one, as Sacha Baron Cohen's acclaimed comedy Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan took on two new family films for a surprising victory as the king of the box office with an estimated opening weekend take of $26.4 million!
That amount wouldn't be nearly as impressive, if not for the fact that the comedy opened in almost a third as many theatres as the other two new wide releases, after a controversial decision by distributor 20th Century Fox to cut back its opening weekend release to 837 theatres. As of Friday, it looked like "Borat" would surpass Michael Moore's 2004 documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 as the highest per theatre average for a film opening wide in less than 1,000 theatres. Actually, "Borat's" stunning per-theatre average of $31,511 (estimated) is the third highest per theatre average for a wide release EVER, just behind the summer hit Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and the original Spider-Man. It averaged more per theatre than Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith just to give some idea how huge this movie is. 20th Century Fox plans on expanding the movie into over 2,200 theatres next weekend, although after such a huge opening, one can expect that number will increase by Friday.
I saw the clip where he wrestled one of the hosts of the Early Show...ahahahah
Borat has been on Leno, Letterman and Conan these past few weeks :)
I will run to the theater if I have to.
Wow...You need to go out and rent yourself some Ali G. Run to Blockbuster...haha (Or logon to Netflix)
and for those that want to say he is a racist or a homophobe.......
Best known for his character Ali G, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen was born in London in 1971 to a Welsh father and an Israeli mother. He first assumed the role on Channel 4's The Eleven O'Clock Show in 1999, embarrassing himself as well as clueless interviewees as a British hip-hop wannabe, acting as the "voice of da youth." The character was wildly popular, gaining Baron Cohen his own program, Da Ali G Show, in 2000, which was brought to the U.S. in 2003. Baron Cohen employed a comedic technique that consisted mainly of acting stupid as many well-known guests such as Pat Buchanan, Buzz Aldrin, and Boutros Boutros-Ghali, afraid of looking uncool, would play along and try to answer his inane or bizarre questions. He eventually took his alter ego to the big screen with the feature film, Ali G Indahouse: the 2002 movie found Ali G trying to prevent his neighborhood from being demolished after he is elected to Parliament.
Da Ali G Show also included segments from two of Baron Cohen's other characters. Bruno, an Austrian fashion reporter from a fictional program called Gay TV, frequently put homophobic guests on the spot, while misogynistic Kazakhstani immigrant Borat showcased his flagrant anti-Semitism to clueless interviewees who, failing to catch onto the satirical nature of the show, would either join him in his bigoted beliefs or try to explain American values to him. Controversy surrounded all three of Baron Cohen's characters, as critics blasted him for endorsing racism, anti-Semitism, and homophobia. HBO, which aired Da Ali G Show, insisted that all of the show's characters were meant to make fun of the prejudiced and ignorant, not the persecuted. It has also been noted that Baron Cohen himself is Jewish and comes from an active Zionist background.
In 2005, he lent his vocal talents to the animated film Madagascar, marking a departure from his Da Ali G. Show characters that he would cement in 2006 with a role in the Will Ferrell comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, as a flamboyant French Formula 1 driver who challenges Ferrell's NASCAR supremacy. A comedy match made in stock-car heaven, the summer release seemed like the perfect chance for the comedian to try his hand at ensemble work, but was soon growing his mustache out to reprise his Kazakhstani alter-ego for the feature film Borat. Looking ahead, Baron Cohen signed on to star in Curly Oxide and Vic Thrill in 2007, a fact-based story about a young Hassidic Jew who forms an unusual musical partnership with a grizzled old rock musician. Tina Fey, writer of Mean Girls and longtime head writer for Saturday Night Live wrote the script, with Lorne Michaels slated to produce.
yes, definitely, you have too!
I think it was last year. He is so ridiculously funny, and so smart. I haven't seen a "grown up" lol movie in a theater since my early 20's. For this one though, I'm going to see if I can't find a sitter.
heard this on the way to work last friday on npr...not bad, though i tend to disagree a bit
