Summary of accomplishments so far in 2013:
¤ To date in 2013, EWSI has established its brand in the USA, UK, Australia, China, India, Mexico, Africa, and South America, and before the end of the year the Company expects to be in a dozen or more countries via branding & licensing agreements.
¤ The recent acquisition of Surf Investments, now to be trading as E-Waste Systems (CA) is in need of new space and with EWSI’s current sponsorship by the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (‘LACI’), among the options being considered is a merging of operations into facilities which are part of LACI.
¤ EWSI’s recently announced Mexico (SCOEX) logistics technology deal is expected to generate $1.7M in revenues in its first year.
¤ When asked about trends in sector, Mr. Nielson pointed out that the industry needs leadership; that the industry knows no international borders; and that EWSI is offering to bring e-waste solutions globally. The eWaste brand is now in the USA, UK, Australia, China, India, Mexico, South America, and Africa.
¤ EWSI maintains a zero landfill policy and operates voluntarily under the world's strictest e-waste standards, which it believes to be the European Union’s WEEE Directive. EWSI will only partner with companies that share their same high standards.
¤ Revenues are expected to continue to accelerate throughout 2013 and EWSI’s first $1 million quarter could be achieved shortly.
¤ Before the end of the year EWSI expects to be in a dozen or more countries via branding/licensing agreements.
¤ At least one more acquisition is expected to be completed before the end of the year. EWSI announced 2TRG as the next acquisition focus with a potential $5 million in added annual revenues and over 75 million tons of capacity.
¤ Up to five more eManagement Contracts will be signed before the end of the year.
¤ New technology offerings are expected to gain serious commercial traction. eWasteCC™ (Carbon Credit), ePlant1000™, and the just announced eWasteTRACK™ will lead the way. EWSI also indicated there may be more technologies to be added. Nielson added the quote, “The SCOEX team of technically savvy professionals has created an integrated global platform from source to destination that we can use to weed out improper transport and import/export trading, ensure compliance, while streamlining the entire trading process. The commercial synergies possible with the Mexico-California presence of our two companies are expected to be used as solid building blocks for our growth”.
¤ Entered the e-commerce market place with a signed eManagement contract with GoEz Deals, Inc. ("GoEz") of New York to be a strategic e-commerce and technology partner.
¤ Completed launch of revolutionary new software - eWaste Carbon Credit (eWasteCC™) technology in August 2013.

By partnering with EWSI, you can be confident that your data, brands, and corporate image will be protected throughout the electronics end-of-life process.
The following services can be mixed and matched in nearly any jurisdiction to meet your needs. Those services that we cannot provide in-house in a given jurisdiction we can source from our extensive network of affiliates, all of whom meet our exacting standards of quality, security, and environmental responsibility.
Global Collection & Logistics: Secure and efficient pickup, transportation, and storage services.
EWSI’s management team has vast experience dealing with the unique aspects of electronics reverse logistics. We offer secure and efficient collection, transportation, and storage services with detailed chain of custody tracking throughout the process. We will work with you to customize the right solution for your specific financial and security needs. For example, we can provide a variety of containers for onsite collection, audit and asset registration services on pickup, and either dedicated or consolidated routes and storage prior to processing. We can also provide site clearance and decommissioning services. Our transparent reporting systems allows you visibility and data about your shipments at all times.
Responsible Recycling: For units beyond economic repair, demanufacturing, component harvesting, and processing into segregated material streams for reuse in manufacturing or downstream refining. All according to leading environmental standards.
To close the electronics loop, EWSI takes the residual e-waste streams after refurbishment and component harvesting (as well as any whole assets designated for destruction by their owners) and uses state-of-the-art engineering to break these down into segregated material streams for processing, refining, and maximum extraction to produce new manufacturing input. We operate with a zero-landfill objective and use a variety of processes to generate up to twenty different streams of recyclate that are converted into new raw materials by intelligent and environmentally friendly downstream refining. We recover maximum value from these materials, including glass, plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, precious metals, and platinum group metals. Every step in our process is transparent and documented and will stand the test of scrutiny from any audit.
Secure Data Destruction: From DOD-compliant overwriting to monitored physical destruction, the highest standards in data security. Onsite and offsite services available.
EWSI offers the highest standards in data security. We provide custom solutions, using in-house resources or those of our affiliate network, based around the following processes:
- DOD-compliant overwriting
- Long-term storage
- Physical destruction
Our collection and transportation services are secure and transparent and we may even be able to provide some of these data security services on location at the site of your business. In all cases, we offer documentation and certification of data removal and/or physical destruction of your IT assets, including live or taped video feeds when security demands it.
Accredited Repair & Refurbishment: Restoration of whole units to sufficient condition for reuse and resale. Warranty support and returns management services may also be possible in certain jurisdictions.
EWSI's management team has been partnering with leading electronics manufacturers, retailers, corporations, and leasing companies to refurbish and remarket graded products for nearly 20 years. We can also offer warranty and non-warranty support and returns management services if needed. We are a qualified service provider for a wide range of electronics, using OEM or aftermarket parts. Our engineers and technicians have the skills to do board-level repair and ensure that refurbished products meet exacting standards.
