It operates its Internet-based bank from a single location in San Diego, California, serving approximately 36,000 retail deposit and loan customers across all 50 states. At June 30, 2011, the Bank had total assets of $1,940.1 million, loans of $1,345.1 million, mortgage-backed and other investment securities of $521.4 million, total deposits of $1,340.3 million and borrowings of $442.7 million. Its deposits consist primarily of interest-bearing checking and savings accounts and time deposits.
