Hello,
I fully agree with you about Bulgarian stocks. But among New Europe countries I would put more investments to Ukraine or Romania.

From more developed Central European markets my favourite is Hungary with the lowest PE valuation.

I am sorry that i haven't posted anything over the past 5 years
Beginning January 1, 2007, Bulgaria joined the European Union. The country is doing very well, the stock market has exploded, and the euro is up significantly against the dollar over the same time period, though off of its 2004 highs.

Is it too late to enter the market? Only time can tell. I believe that a US investor could put 5% of their portfolio in bulgarian stocks, which are not correlated to other stocks. ( emerging markets or us stocks)

Certainly the SOFIX has done well over the past year.
But will it continue?

I requested a change to give this and other foreign to
the USA Dow & Nasdaq, and Canada exchanges that
are mostly represented here, a better chance to get
knowned and even attract more exchanges in countries
not yet being posted on here at iHub.

On Silicon Investor there is a board posted not in English
but in French Canadian, and there is no reason why any
board here can not be in any language other than those two.
But then I don't how the Russian or Chinese or Bulgarian
languages can be typed into a post here. Maybe they cannot.

Almost called this Political Risk in Mining,
but why not widen it out, p.r. exists in every venture.
Thing with a mineral property is, it's a fixed asset,
you can't put wheels on it and trundle it down the road
to a more favourable jurisdiction, so you're subject to whatever
happens around you, wars and whacko politicians, fanatic....[stop]
