ALGAE FARM USA, INC.
ALGAPONDTM
ALGOILTM
Our mission is to develop processes and systems that will produce high yield, predictable, reliable, scalable, sustainable algae oil, residual biomass and algal biomass in a climate controlled environment. Primary uses in nutraceutical, cosmetic and renewable energy market sectors.
Algae are primarily grown, harvested and extracted outdoors using sunlight and water (fresh or salt depending on the algae strain).
Growing anything outdoors is problematic due to climatic uncertainties. Climatic uncertainties result in unpredictable and unreliable production yield. Unpredictable production yield will result in an inability to sustain growth required for commercialization.
Scalability is necessary to produce high yield algae oil, residual biomass and algal biomass.
Algae Farm has successfully completed its Proof of Concept Pilot to Scale sustainable and scalable algae biomass production system.

Russell Industries Initial Growth Rate Attained
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Russell Industries, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RIND) has obtained data from four independent testing facilities. Algae biomass grown, harvested and extracted from two bioreactors developed in its Proof of Concept Pilot to Scale Algae Biomass Project were sampled to determine an initial attained growth rate and suitability. The initial growth rate attained was .67 per liter with continuous removal of biomass, 3% maximum concentration of algae in water, 30% maximum lipid recovery and a 1.7 doubling rate days. Fatty acids analysis data showed greater unsaturated composition. Two suitable uses of unsaturated algae biomass are feedstock to be refined in biodiesel production and as a protein supplement for nutraceutical markets.

PLAN ALGF now plans to develop a Pilot Production Plant to commercialize its technology and
prove its business model; to grow, harvest, extract, package and sell its algal biomass
while achieving a positive margin. The Pilot Production Plant will be located in the
Houston, Texas area. This production facility will be a unique indoor Algae Tank Farm
("ATF") that will produce and offer for sale algal biomass to be used in high value algae
derived products such as Astaxznthin (pronounced astazanthin), Omega 3, EPA, and
DHA used as food supplements for the aquaculture, animal feed and nutraceutical
industries.
PRODUCTS AND SERVICE Specific algae strains will be grown, harvested and extracted indoors in uniquely
designed production vessels that will provide reliable and sustainable high production
yield in a climate controlled environment. Algal biomass will be used as key components
of nutritional supplements. Present production methods employed by "competitors" use
closed loop photo bioreactors and open "raceway" dependent upon outdoor sunlight.
Their results have yet to yield sustainable, reliable high yield production partly due to
dependence upon outdoor sunlight and unpredictable climate conditions. Specifically,
the Company believes that if it can create optimal dependable climatic conditions on a
24/7 basis it should be able to produce its desired production yield. We plan to focus
initial marketing efforts for our algal biomass on producers of the end product, such
nutritional supplements, vitamins, aquaculture and animal feed markets. We plan to hire
experienced algae specific operations management sufficient to ensure success of the
project.

Algae Farm (USA) 1Q12 Update
HOUSTON, April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Algae Farm (USA), Inc. (Pink Sheets: ALGF), announces that it has completed development of its proprietary Algapond indoor algae production system. This unique system is modular and scalable and can be used indoors anywhere where water and power are available. Algapond utilizes customized LED lighting, proprietary water movement and contamination features in both 200 and 400 gallon Algapond versions. "ALGF's technology and processes, specifically, growing and harvesting high yield predictable, reliable, scalable and sustainable algal biomass, algae oil and residual biomass in an indoor climate controlled environment separates us from our present competitors. Our technology is ready for commercialization and we are actively searching for viable strategic alliances and partnerships in the nutraceutical, cosmetic, bio-plastic and bio-fuel market sectors," said Rick Berman, President and CEO. Algae Farm (USA) Patent Update
HOUSTON, June 13, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Algae Farm (USA), Inc. (Pink Sheets: ALGF), announces that it has received an office action from the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO") requesting an election of claims. ALGF filed a non-provisional utility application, "Device and Method for Production of Algae," on August 30, 2010. The application has been in review status since the initial filing date. ALGF's IP (Intellectual Property) counsel was contacted by the USPTO on June 1, 2012 and provided an option to elect to split the originally applied-for patent into two separate patents. ALGF has elected to pursue its process claims on the initial filing and will pursue a divisional application for its mechanical apparatus claims. "Specifically, the Company will now have two separate patent applications, one for its industry-unique process to grow algae indoors, and the other for its mechanical apparatus. As a result of these actions, our expectation is to be awarded two patents instead of one. The average time to be granted a patent from the USPTO on a filing such as ours is roughly three years. We are very optimistic that we will now receive two patents instead of the single patent originally applied for; owning the two separate patents will add to our portfolio of immediately marketable intellectual property and dramatically enhance our ability to commercialize our technology and attract viable, strategic alliances and partnerships in the cosmetics, nutraceutical, bio-plastic and bio-fuel market sectors. By separating our applied-for patent into two, we will further ensure that both our methodological process and our unique mechanical production equipment used to produce our product remain exclusive to ALGF. Therefore, we will enjoy a significant market advantage over any competitors utilizing traditional outdoor production methods," said Rick Berman, President and CEO.
