Advanced Lighting Solutions, Inc. (AVLS) is excited to announce that it has recently acquired its first Saltwater Disposal Facility. This facility is known as the Lena May and is located in Anderson County, Texas. The Lena May is located in a prolific oil and gas producing area of east Texas near the Cayuga Field. AVLS is planning the immediate expansion of the facility which should allow AVLS to essentially double the amount of fluids the facility can take in on a daily basis.
This aggressive expansion should greatly enhance both the value and profitability of the facility. The Lena May Saltwater Disposal Facility is considered a "Class II" injection well by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). SWDW's are highly regulated and commonly used by the oil and natural gas industry to dispose of water generated during both production and flow back, after a well has been completed. Oil and Gas Operators pay for the disposal of these fluids. Tank batteries are present at the facility for offloading fluids such as saltwater, flow back water and skim oil. The saltwater is then disposed in the Lena May disposal well with the skim oil being separated out. The skim oil can then be sold at near market prices. Skim Oil can be quite significant to the bottom line of AVLS. (Read More)
