FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Advanced Interactive, Inc. acquired by Fresh Breath Industries Interactive TV and Broadband Industries to benefit LAS VEGAS, Nevada (March 5, 2001) - Advanced Interactive, Inc. was acquired by Fresh Breath Industries Inc. (formerly OTCBB: FDIB), a fully reporting Nevada Corporation. The newly formed company has changed its name to Advanced Interactive, Inc. (OTCBB: AINR). Advanced Interactive (AINR) develops and markets proprietary technologies and systems that provide high value opportunities in the broadband communication industry. AINR's primary focus is on the development of patented technology for use in the Interactive TV (ITV) and Broadband Industries. A number of industries -- satellite; broadcast; cable and computer - will benefit from AINR's technologies effecting products such as satellite receivers/decoders, PC/TV decoder cards, cable set-top boxes, cable modems, and advanced VCRs and TVs. Currently, AINR's technology is providing high-speed Internet access for students in schools across British Columbia though branded "SchoolWeb" technology. Using AINR's patented technology of transmitting data in the TV signal, students at schools have access to websites at high-speed without the need for high-speed Internet connections to schools. The SchoolWeb project is a partnership between AINR, Canada's Advanced Internet Development Organization CANARIE Inc., the Provincial Learning Network (PLNet), the Ministry of Education of British Columbia, and the Open Learning Agency. The participating schools are very enthusiastic with the SchoolWeb project. According to Strategy Analytics, by 2005, over 625 million people will have access to online services via their television sets. These online services will include access to shopping, banking, games, information and interactive entertainment services. AINR has positioned itself to license its patented core technologies to the industry leaders in the ITV market. By utilizing AINR's technologies the cable industry will be able to eliminate ingress noise and noise funnel problems and allow substantially higher reliability and higher speed delivery of data from and to the subscribers' locations (i.e. high-speed on the last mile).
